Calling Doyle down with 66 on a scary board and (barely) holding back the showboating to tell Doyle that he was his idol. His story is amazing, such a full life and he's still pretty young!
I've seen a lot of set up hands on UA-cam- were the winner says I want to hug the dealer royal flush beating 4 aces. Tony might be right in with those twin Aces - yet returning to finish the game and winning is just super.

The funniest moment I have seen is Tony having 2 kings against Patrick Antonius, and then Tony was schooled and had his pants taken down. Patrick is the man.

This is just an anectode, I played some 7card stud in vienna,I think around 2012ish and pretty much everyone I played with was older than me back then,so Id say 40s-50s with some exceptions and they basically confirmed back then what is mentioned here, that yes, tony g played 7card stud,was broke quite often, but,I cant prove this,like I said I have only been told..that him buying pokernews domain was basically money in a paper bag(I'm not even sure if they said 50000 Schilling,which was austrian currency before they got the euro), or if it was already in ~5000 euros, but that idea/deal put him into top networth for poker players. good times thinking back. you heard some crazy stories generally if you had an online poker background like myself. I only played live after like 5-6years playing online poker.
Played blackjack with Tony G in 1998 at the Crown. He was covering all bets on the table when the shoe was hot. He'd have as much as A$50k out there. I wonder now if it was his money.
