    It's funny how Mercedes try over and over put Russell ahead of Hamilton, and Lewis just kicks their butts.

    What I find intriguing about George Russell's disqualification is the statement attributing it to tire degradation. There were three other cars on a one-stop strategy that finished within the weight and time limits, which doesn't add up. While it's possible Russell lost some tire degradation, it's important to remember that every car must meet the same weight requirements. This means teams must add ballast to account for differences in driver weight and size. In George's case, they removed the ballast and used fuel as ballast instead, deliberately under-fueling the car. Therefore, some tire degradation can be factored in, but not entirely. Additionally, over 60% of the cars on that grid, including the other one-stop cars, were tested. Julian Palmer's commentary on this issue sheds more light on it. Mercedes needs to investigate whether this was an intentional act by multiple people or an individual within the team. This situation raises questions about how long this has been happening and whether it's the reason Hamilton left quickly after the race, skipping celebrations and going straight on holiday. He might be wondering how long this has been going on as well.😮

    Toto said they pitted Ham to cover CL and LN.
    It’s ridiculous to say they needed to cover LN. On CL, they wouldn't have needed to cover him if LH stayed out.
    They wanted GR to win, and they tried to cheat by not properly draining the car during the weigh-in, but they got caught. This is Russell’s team.

      @RickAnderson19 I thought for sure Toto was out of the loop but either he is playing like it was all a team decision to not appear divided or it was allowed to truly take the Win from Hamilton. No way they thought it was just to out do P5. But he also said it is what it is with having taken it from LH so perhaps they are more in it for GR now. I will say I'm interested to find out where the weight loss came from because of its not fluid/wear related then that's even more intrigue for the media to scrutinize and for conspiracies to take hold.

    3.31lbs is 1.5kg
    My understanding they don’t weigh the car with fluids, but merc brought their car with fluids to make it heavier, so they had to weigh it twice

    Bro the amount of gas don't matter, what are you waffling about ?
    They empty the car when they weigh it. Fuel is never a factor.
    Tyre degradation might not be a factor either because 5 drivers completed the race with one-stop stratagy but none of them had a significant enough tyre deg that could lead to "-1.5 kg".

    • @TheNorville2
      @TheNorville2 2 місяці тому +1

      Actually not totally correct. All cars must be able to produce 1ltr of fuel at end of the race for testing.. If you cannot produce 1ltr of fuel you will immediately be disqualified.

    • @RehanX44
      @RehanX44 2 місяці тому

      but tire-degradation was the factor because other cars who did one-stop were probably not pushing as much as russell basic common sense russell was trying to run away and he was foolish to do that even if he lifted and coasted more he might still have ended up on the podium but he had to fuck up his own teammate who worked hard for the win and he got smacked in the face with reality of what he actually did pushed the car too much

      last year SPA russell ruined lewis's race too in Quali he is 100% trying to mess up lewis's race however he can and mercedes are completely fine with it russell did the same in spain last year but when lewis made a small mistake in qatar the team made him apologise to russell and put up a video on social media i have never seen russell apologising to lewis in a separate video the amount of time russell fucked up lewis's race and mercedes are silent observers but as soon as lewis is about to overtake russell they come crying on radio 'give space to each other' why don't they tell this to russell? mercedes might not be actively trying to fuck up lewis but they are completely fine with russell doing it

  • @williamshaneblyth
    @williamshaneblyth 2 місяці тому +5

    many years ago a lewis interview had how much you sweat in it during a race and it was quite a bit of weight he was also talking about fuel loads and he said .1 and .2 a lap you gain just by the sweat you loose in a race so 1.5kg will give a speed advantage per lap. its not much but this is a long lap lets say you gain .1 per lap cause its under weight multiply that by 44 laps thats seconds at the end of a race 1 second every 10 laps 4.4 over 44 laps so thats why weight is important

    Alonso?
    Also did a 1 stop......
    The media trying to hype up the drive & GR
    And Mercedes not telling LH that GR was on a 1 stop - that's what gets me.
    LH would have changed driving style/strategy if he had known this.

      @SometimesYouJustGottaSayIt he for sure would have. He would have gone 1 stop too, or even extracted more right away from the tires and ensured he made the gap to Russell come down too.

    Lewis had a great start and by lap 3 he was in the lead which in my opinion shows pace.
    With Lewis leaving the team Mercedes are trying their hardest to help Russell but it is not working out to well.
    With Lewis out qualifying Russell they had to change their strategy in order to help Russell.

      @mirvgeorge3290 I wonder if we will find out more over the break..did he really know or just pretending to have control of the ship while really being surprised by what occured. He has to know it's not good for a large amount of their fan base to be seen give George the ability to win. Different if Hamilton burnt up his Perrelis and George was a master with his. But that wasn't close to the case. There is surely more to come on this, and I'm sure a few other Teams will chime in to stir the pot a bit too.

    I noted a important detail, remember in Hungary when Russell can't do a good time in Q1, and he gets eliminated? Because his car was fuel empty? And he can't do another lap... In the meantime, Hamilton performed the best time in that Q1, under rain... So it seems that ALWAYS Russell's car is under in fuel than Hamilton's car, so Russell is lighter...That's why Russell is 0.2 seconds faster than Hamilton in Qualy, however, when the race start, and mainly if raining, Lewis is better, again and again. No matter what Mercedes and Toto tried to do to sabotage Hamilton, his better driver quality always overperform Russell.

      THIS IS WHAT NO ONE HAS MENTIONED. Is everyone's memories that short. George had a fuel issue in Hungarian Quali, but this is not being widely reported. Merc has been doing something fishy all season long!

    It was an awesome drive because Russell took those tyres 34 laps (I think). Every computer sim, every engineer would tell you at the end he would be losing a second a lap. It was an awesome drive regardless of 1.5Kg. The man is consistent, quick and reserved, the future will show you the intelligence of Russell. He will never beat Lewis' records, nobody will in our lifetimes, but he will show you how to drive smart, not tyre shredding aggressive.
