I agree on your shield reference. Shields were in a very good position in season 6-10. That was until regular slashing units could absolutely shred them. I still don't agree how claymores can destroy symacchean stalwarts because that just makes no sense. What should destroy shields are blunt weapons, not slashing ones. Maybe increase their damage, but don't make them annihilate them. The axe raiders were by far the worse offenders of all time. They'd run through a shield unit stacked on top of a pike until and get away with half health while disrupting their entire formation.
easily killed by ranged is an overstatement they aren't actually that easy to kill with range, it might not seem like it but they pretty much block at the same rate that sword and shield units block. I think people expected Heavy Shield level of block but that is not the case.
I love the changes and general direction of rock paper scissors. Game should be this way to create satisfactory feeling of total domination thx for rock paper scissor.
I don't really like it since the rock paper scissor isn't really happening. Range is technically effective against anything without a shield, Cavalry is pretty much effective against all infantry except dedicated anti cavalry. The infantry has an issue with Sword and shield trying to be effective against both pike and Heavy shields but also failing at it at the same time. The incoming T5 is also effective against everything except anti shield range units like shenji, Falconetti and Zykilean Militia.

I believe daze is okay as it will catch up the pikes advance or braced. If knockback enemies will just make enemies just keeping them away
personally I like the knock back than the standard daze since fortebraccio has a knockback and thematically it works for me

They have to deal massive dps with plus one because azaps and man at arrms could wipe them easily
That is not true as merely using Roaming Brace they can basically win by moving backwards.

T4 got nerf piercing damage
with the T3 yes and it was hilarious but that got nerf. T4 damage is just veterancy change I did.
