- Brian Albert, the owner of the Canton, Massachusetts home where Boston police officer John O'Keefe was found dead, testified in the Karen Read murder trial that O'Keefe never entered his house on the night he died.
As a former cop, he ABSOLUTELY knew he was destroying court-ordered preserved evidence. That’s #%^*+=< balls.

This dude flew to and then drove home from New York City to attend a funeral of a fallen police officer, RIP, that he didn’t even know but he didn’t even yell out his bedroom window for a fallen police officer in his front yard, a police officer he hung out with the night before, just to ask what the hells going on. It doesn’t mean he’s guilty of anything, I’m just pointing that out.

Lally, if Brian Albert is telling the truth then you should have just let him answer the questions from the heart and not from the prep. Lally does this throughout the trial trying to control every word that's spoken and it makes your witnesses look like they're covering something up

@@jessicanasuti9952I hate this judge for a myriad of reasons, but the lawyer is asking questions in such a way where he knows it will be objected to and sustained. He’s doing this so the jury hears him ask. That’s the important part. The answers are implied. That’s why there’s an objection.

I think she seems relatively fair. She allows him to ask in different ways, etc.
The term “reasonable doubt” is going to be a big factor when the jury deliberate.

1:34:28 During his direct examination, he told the court that he had known Brian Higgins for about 15 years. But they were assigned together more recently and became closer friends. He went on to say that they even socialized outside of work occasionally. But now he's saying he was never really that close to Brian Higgins. He just knew him through work. Sadly, I don't think he'll get charged with perjury unless the federal investigation ends up filing charges. I think the federal investigation is going to show far more evidence that B Albert knows more than he's telling here.

She doesn't need to. The objection comes after either the defense doesn't ask a proper question, makes an accusation, or asks a compound question requiring more than a yes or no answer. I assume the judge isn't trying to confuse the jurors with legal language

Happening at his property? They also found a body in someone’s front yard but authorities never went into the house to make sure nothing happened inside the home?
Watch how he changes affect, etc. when the prosecutor starts asking about that day. He's nervous, fidgety, keeps looking down and darting his eyes. Prior to that, he was very composed.

There is something really weird about Brian Higgins and vehicles. Why did he drive from NY in a pickup, but then drive from the bar in Jeep with a snow plow? Where and when did he exchange a pickup for a Jeep? Then he arrives at the Albert's home long enough before Brian Albert to "skim the driveway" (when there was only a light dusting of snow) when they had left the bar at the same time? What happened to this jeep with a plow that no one else seems to remember seeing? Why is BA seeming to distance himself from Higgins? Did Higgins say something about Karen to John that started a fight?
And or John knew something about these dirty cops
2:59:17 Also albert new the order was made by the judge to hand in his mobile phone and Brian albert got rid of his old phone to get a new one when he was tipped oof that the letter of the order for the phone was going to be sent to him the next day. Brian Higgins also did the same thing , higgins was tipped off that he would receive an order to hand in his mobile phone and he threw his mobile phone away and signed up to a new carrier as well .

It’s so sad that Jackson and team are doing all this for nothing. They will get away with this solely based on the fact that there’s no evidence and they made damn sure of it. And Auntie Bev is doing everything in her literal power to make sure her and Lally object and sustain on anything tnah counts. I just hope jury says Karen is NOT GUILTY in the end

It’s funny to hear Brian Albert answer Alan Jackson’s questions, that do not hit too close to home, with a firm confident YES but when the questions do hit too close to home he answers with a tentative unconfident YIP. The 2:36:30 mark is a perfect example of that.
I think these homeowners were afraid of lawsuits because John’s body was found on their property
Why is the “judge” furiously writing notes ??? I’ve never seen a judge so “involved” with every little detail. Most judges kick back and listen carefully just to ensure proper lawyering. Very suspect.

there are so many things to point out. one thing i haven’t seen mentioned that sticks out to me is that there was significant snow on the ground and the conditions weren’t great, but brian higgins drove to the alberts’ home and was there when the police were at the alberts. similarly, the alberts drove to the mccabes and were there when the police were at the mccabes.

She didn’t. As you said John was tall, handsome and hot. He was surrounded by adoring women, although I’m not saying he would have acted on or even known it. Karen just wanted a bit of reassurance that she was attractive, that she too could be lusted after. Does that make it ok? No, and she knew it wasn’t ok, which is why she never acted on it.

you get the impression if karen tried to pull a karen on the stand then most the jury wouldt care. maybe karen has something she cares about that the jury needs to hear and that her defense hasnt cared enough about to guard against. maybe caring for karen is more than the jury has been obligated to do, as long as karen is keeping secrets. as long as karen cares more about herself than telling others the truth.
