Gio's got a hell of a distro for one amp rack! Would like to see the rest of his rig, and Kay's roast of said rig, lol.
Kay's got me wanting the slam latch racks now. I've been holding out hope that EWI would drop an affordable version- I'm sure they'd sell like crazy.
Some of the reasons I like the dynacord tgx 20 rack only power in and front pannel connections. Also a monster amount of input for a few amps.
I really like the idea of the sliding slam latch door... curious how those would hold up on tour. Might wanna switch out my own racks for those

I like Kay's distro better but Gio's boxes are more useful to build on. The best option would be for Kay to take the bottom Edison panel and convert it to a True1 or Powercon panel and get some True1 or Powercon boxes for power on stage. I don't have a huge inventory but I started straight away from True1. Every power cable I own has True1 on one end and IEC or 13a or 16a or 4way gangs on the other end (I'm in the UK so 13a is wall power). If I need a 4way box I get a 13a-true1 and a true1-4way and I'm good to go.
The power of True1 on my side was the fact that male and female can be connected to make a cable longer. Most of my jobs are location jobs or small shows where we provide our cablings mics and desk, but we almost never have our own distro (hence the reducers from 16a to True1) nor PA so no amp racks needed.
On the amp rack idea Kay's 6 amps are much better than Crown's 3 amps. Great use of those sliding doors, big fan. I like those new cases as well more than wooden ones.

Very nice Distro Kay- all inclusive - no adaptors / tails or converters required! Was the unit at the top a display for Volt/Current draw ? If so - very neat!

I used Tru1 over Powercon, have Element Audio power drops, extremely well built.
Gio’s distro is alright, but not having those Edison’s is a killer. Sure you can make a dongle with powercon and a quad attached, but even to plug a phone in, you’ve already doubled the steps needed
Gio is learning the hard way... he’s going to end up buying everything twice... He should really pay attention and learn from Kay’s experience or he’ll be wasting coin hand over fist. BTW Kays distro is better.
K's distro is better, he doesn't need to bring all the dongles along

Love your Vlogs man, I got an opinion question for K tho, are the JBL A8’s better then the VTX V20’s, I can’t seem to find any videos where he talks about his opinion on the A8’s versus the V 20s……. I really can’t find any opinion on the Internet on the differences between the two. I’m looking to buy a system just can’t decide…. Thanks!!! Love what you’re doing with this channel I get stuck on it….. Great content!!!

Not sure which units Kay has, but the DimmerRack Rak-Box is another option for a dual 21-30 input / 6 output unit.

Hahah +1 - I love the gear roast K gave Gio... Motion labs is good, but expensive for what they are, and yes you can probably get more for your money with EMG or similar. I have 2 rows of Ugrounds on my distro with 10, L14-30 - because there isn’t alot of 3 phase buildings where I live... (single phase distro)... But anyway, love the ball busting. Also send gio to harbour freight for some di-electric grease (cams, socas, twistlock) - never fight with them again.
