THANK YOU Mec !
I appreciate your time in explaining the real thing 😉 , so I understand my dad is a HVAC technician and this looks familiar in different / similar aspects I will remember this forever thank you
I have a S320 W220 from the year 2000. I get a missfire on Cylinder Nr 6. The DTC’s are P0300 and P0306. Check Engine Light is on and the engine has a rough idle. I heard a knocking noise until I checked the seating of the Spark Plug Wires and someone changed the coil packs and did not checked the correct position the have to sit. The engine has on every cylinder an and b position and K and G for the wires and all have to sit correctly. - After replacing all 6 coilpacks from Bosch as well as all 12 spark plugs Bosch Double Platinum and all 12 wires Bosch, the knocking noise is gone but still there is that P0306 Code and the missfire on cylinder 6 😩 I checked the longterm fuel trims on idle and they are 2.5% on right bank and 7.5 % on left bank. Could it be a faulty injector or a bad o2 sensor? The o2 sensors are working from 0.2V to 0.9V…..The spark plugs ( new ) looked quite white on cylinder 6. So it looks like it’s running lean. But despite of the detected missfire, i suppose the ECU cuts off the fuel injector after a short time….but it doesn’t cut the spark? Hmm…. 😢
Your video on that is so much better than all the others but you’re working hard not smart but you should’ve done is gone to a scrapyard and bought three of those issues and stead of having to re-solder because when you restart your wrist the chance of frying the PCB board
The first thing is that you can't swapping engine ecu like socks. Just fitting another one you will not be allowed to start the engine. In addition, even used parts (and finding them) cost money. And when changing, you risk getting an unknown problem. Therefore, checking capacitors and resoldering cold solder joints is a good, easy and cheap solution if the problem is there. Of course, a person has to evaluate his capabilities, if you are a botanist and you don't even know which end to hold the soldering iron, then don't put your hands in computers, because this will definitely bring troubles.
Hi there, I have 2016 c350e and cylinder 3-4 misfires , coil ,plugs and even injectors but no fix , my mechanic says whole engine needs to be replaced, any thoughts and tips on that please?
This is pretty reckless. Before doing this risky brain surgery you would want to verify that your computer has a problem. Not everyone knows how to solder a circuit board. If you burn a trace the whole car is toast. Also, as in all repairs, a surgical approach is less risky than a blanket approach. Examine all the solder points with a strong light and magnifying glass. Limit your resoldering to only those connections where you see a dry solder joint, a cavity, dry pin, or other problem. Use proper solder meant for electronics, not acid core, and use a soldering pencil with a fine tip. Finally, you need to use alcohol and cotton to clean away all flux residue.
Well, in a 25-year-old car, sometimes you can't be sure where the fault is. There can be even multiple faults. Sometimes you need to fix 5 places to solve 1 problem. How can you tell in a hobby garage if that ignition coil or wire is definitely bad. In the m112/m113 engine, replace 12-16 spark plugs, the same number of wires, 6-8 ignition coils. And if you changed these a year ago and you still feel a slight misfire while the engine is at idle, even though the computer doesn't show any error codes yet? Change wires and spark plugs again? It's a detail cannon. The engine ecu is not such a holy place. Good idea to check if there are no other ideas left. This is just electronics. Capacitors can fail everywhere. Cold solder joints can happen everywhere. Of course, if you're a blacksmith, your smallest soldering iron is a 300w ax and you're soldered galvanized tin buckets with acid 25 years ago, it's nothing to do in ecu.
I got a c63 2014 whenever i hit full gass the car will shift till gear 4 or sometimes even 3 then it will start shaking so bad and ill need to stop the car and switch it back again and the shaking will go but if I don’t trun the car off it will be shaking and will be so slow even you can hear it from the exhaust shaking
Hi i want to ask you if the capacitor was damaged i will replace it only or still i need to resoled all the pins also and there’s a way to check which specific pin need to be resoled or all randomly need to be done ?
If the capacitor shows damage, bloated, leaking, or rupture, yes, you need to replace it. Yes, it is a good idea to only resolder joints that appear to have a problem. Examine each joint with a bright light and magnifier. The joint should be smooth and shiney. If you see a black dot, that's a hole and that's a problem. Look up videos on how to inspect solder joints.
My car v6 mercedes 2002 same problem. Cilinder number 1 and cylinder number 6 misfyire. Stop engine and run nice some seconds but misfyre again. Cilinder 1 and 6. I change coil spark and wire. and not solve trowble.
@@idknotsure i've not got round to doing it yet, too many projects but i think i'm going to take it in to an ECU specialist as i don't want to butcher the unit up. i did speak to a guy on Ebay that can clone one if you get a second hand unit. just using a second hand one won't work as it needs to be programmed or your keys etc won't work. guessing you have the same problem. only running on two cylinders.
hello Mercedes w140 M104 *96 stalls when the engine is warm, restarting the engine does not always help, only when it cools down. 1 and 3 ignition modules stop working one.On module 1 and 3, the signal is turned off, then turned on. This doesn't happen on 124. And 140 breaks my brain. by the way the HFM system without ASR

@Michel: ta panne était permanente ? C'est a dire lorsque tu redémarres , la panne disparaît ou persiste ?

Hello thank you for your video. Do you know what years this happened to?
Hi sev sevy, was this problem constant in your case or just in some circumstances(for example high engine rev, kick down and etc.) ?

Replace the capacitor and see what happens

Yes!
can you just replace ecu or its will need to be programmed or will not work? on 2002 c240
You need to program it

looks like i'm going to be doing this as i swapped the coils etc, same problem, reversed the coils and still 1 and 4 not sparking.
Did it work

I have on my M113 misfire on cylinder 1, 7 and 8. But everthing is replaced. Maybe it could be that.. 🤔

Hi, have you found how to resolve this bad issue?
misfire of cylinder 5 :damage three way catalyst (TWC/CAT) (p0305)
Did you fix it?
@@almoaidalbadi3869 i change the computer, and fix the chain engine
Fix the chain engine ?? I don’t understand
