The parade at the start shows the Market Hall, opened in 1971.

Excellent footage but hardly all 1962. The truck at 1:59 was registered in 1968, G reg.

Several things have been pointed out that I would like to correct but UA-cam won't allow it without uploading a new video and losing all the current views and comments.

1.35 shows J reg truck registered August 1970 suggests 1972 maybe?

I can't say I disagree! UA-cam doesn't have much selection of copyright free music and this was uploaded before I started using an expensive music provider. Unfortunately I can't update or change anything on an existing video without removing it and starting again.

Fascinating! I remember a parade with the "Smash" aliens but I guess that could have been any year in the 70s :D You did a great job! Did you do this using some AI tools and programs?

@Neil Loughran Thanks Neil. I wish I could get your tool installed but it is just too complicated!
The 8mm films were transferred to DVD and some decode from the disc with just interlace problems and the others transfer with no interlace but 3:2 telecine pulldowns that randomly change their pattern. The frame rates are all off as well!
I end up resizing to jpg with Video Enhance, manually deleting all the duplicate and judder frames, recompiling to 15fps and then to 29.97fps with Video Enhance. All the jpg files with bad dirt problems I edit in Photoshop so a 3 minute film can take days to work on before editing. As you have found Video Enhance does a pretty good job but when upping the frame rates bizarre things sometimes happen - but it is what it is.
