Like most content creators he has an idea so he writes a script. He says his essay then creates the video after. The editing focus is loss after loss meeting the narrative of the script. He may not even be telling the truth about playing carry, we wouldn’t truly know. But even if his “creative” editing doesn’t match the essay, his message isn’t any less insightful or helpful.
Jenkins, have you considered hiring a hobo bodyguard with a portion of your pizza crusts? I know times are tough and there’s barely enough to go around, but surely a crust here and there is a good trade for some hobo muscle

@@sweetdreams961 Lion is relatively weak in Lane, while he's often played as P5. As P4, your kit kinda suck in damage before lvl6, so you can't roam early.
When I saw the thumbnail, I immediately assumed that he was gonna talk about pos 5 players who pick Lion and rush blink dagger instead of other utility items.

For me personally, I never had problems playing from behind because I got used to being in weird game situations ( support going haywire, 2 carries in one lane, lc 4 jg etc.) that I usually itemize for the worst so when I get good conditions I would still be unconfident to fight because mistakes costed more when playing from behind.
the key as a core that is behind is drag the shit out of the game while trying to keep up in GPM and items with the enemy core. This means once they inevitable try to take high ground or go for rosh, you could take out the supports and turn the fight around.

First obvious clue is that you're ahead in lvls, although it still depends on their hero powerspikes. A lv7 PA is still weaker than a lv6 Doom. Item timings. Especially offlaners, where getting a key item is vital on his job on creating space. If you dont have the money to buya a blink dagger on slardar 15-20mins into a game (despite you prioritizing to buy it) then you dont wanna play very agressive as if you're ahead. Third one is very abstract, a measure of how fast they kill your heroes, and you kill their heroes. Hope that helps, im just a crusader scrub so feel free to roast me

PPD was playing sacrificial lion 5 with glimmer and consumable vision, while Super is playing 4 and so can afford to get a greedy blink, with a Witch Doctor warding and buying more "supporty" items. I like the points you bring up a lot, and I think they're solid, but I feel like the difference in itemisation and approach to the game is less cut-and-dry than just simply the game state as the only major variable.

When I play LC, even if we are behind, I target their cores, possibly building aghanim, so my team can slaughter supports while the core is blocked against me. Of course the team should help LC duel, early, but in late game it should focus on killing the rest of the team while LC is dueling

AM was mid, i was safe lane drow. he was dominating early game but i slowed him down by killing him thrice, then i asked Lc to conc on am, she went first item aghs instead of blink. I called my team for rosh, she instantly went and tried to solo rosh and gave them the aegis, the game went south.

play heroes who have solo kill potential like clinkz, huskar or WR and hope you dont get counter picked. or play heroes who can split push. You see your idiot carry getting hunted in their jungle? thats your time to shine baby, push the opposite side like you're giving birth. Split pushing is an art too, your goal is to make sure you break an objective for every team fight your team lose, or to pull atleast 2 heroes to you and keep them there so your team has a 4v3 advantage and pray they are not brain dead enough to lose even that. You can also cut creep waves to pull enemies back, and learn how to slow push so that you can hit towers with 2 wagon creeps at the right time for maximum damage.

@@programmer1840 orchid is his core ganking item. And u always go for the Squishies who split off to ward. 3 hits of burning barrage and an auto attack is more than enough to kill a support and gtfo. Rinse and repeat till u get bkb or linkins and have enough dmg to kill cores.

Jenkins, your content is great and all, but I gotta be real with you. The reason you lost 1k+ MMR is cause you're a shit carry player. Your builds are outdated, nobody goes double wraith bands anymore because its inefficient, especially on PA. Then you queue up Bfury against a LS and Legion when you're so far behind (5th in net worth) and you wonder why you're losing? You also participate in too many fights with 0 items, aka the 9min feed on PA at the tier 1 mid tower. You're playing the carry like an offlaner. Also, seeing you play that void as a carry a few videos back was hard to watch. You played similar to an Archon/Legend level at the highest, if anything. Tip of advice, get another account to practice carry and stick with offlane. I'm pretty sure of the 1400 MMR you lost, they weren't all from games you were 'having a bad game' but more of 'don't know how to carry'.
For low rank supports: - restrict hero pool - mute tilted players - force teammates to smoke with you - make sure you at least have ( item/skill wise ): two disables OR one disable and one heal OR one disable and one push/tower-push

I find that when I play carry I always lane well but I always fail to capitalize on the advantage I have and usually either lose or end up getting carried by teammates in the lategame

The way I do it is if all tier 1 towers are down before 15 minutes then we are ahead, I guess.
