Excellent Johnny, just when i make this sort of discovery for myself you come along with a video on the exact same thing.
Timing is uncanny.
You explained it really well.
hahaha wow!
Makes 10000% sense! Ryan Garcia hits the bag just in that manner.
Btw you said “bring it back to the shit” at 1:06 😂😂😂 love it
hahahah
I love that freaken Bryan didn't edit that out. He loves leaving bloopers in there.
A little tip No! A great big tip Yes!
Once again you have hit the nail on the head regarding boxing♡ Well done :-))
Thanks for this and all the other tips; that perhaps; I didn't thank you for in the past, better late than never♡
Keep 'em coming♡
thank you! glad you like it
fantastic video Johny!!! Very underrated tip!
Yes yes! So simple but makes a huge difference!
Chin should be tucked down. Agree. This is boxing stance 101, but you always put a great perspective out there. I like your style of teaching. Another tip I give newbies, is also, to flatten out the point of there nose, so they can avoid nosebleeds. It also helps align the chin lower to the shoulders.

Thanks, man! What do you mean by flatten out? Like to lower their chin to the angle of the nose isn't sticking out?
@@expertboxing Yes. So that if they take a jab to the face, it lands on the bridge of the nose, instead of the tip of the nose.
ahh yes yes...and there’s less nose to go through. i should put this little tip somewhere. it’s very simple and yet perfect sense. obviously i don’t think about it too much
@@expertboxing everyone has a different face structure, but for those who could use this, it would help...
Much respect to you, as always. Love your website and all you do!

Best advice ever!
Ur the best Johnny. Going to try this at this exact moment
awesome, let me know how it goes for you
@@expertboxing just got back from training, it worked perfectly. Thanks a lot
Such a little detail, but so much importaint
agreed!
Makes sense & AGREE (;-)
Thank you :)
Hell yeah!
And now what's the position of the hands when we are in "the shell" for defense? sometimes I feel insecure when I'm in the shell because I do receive punches and I think maybe I'm not putting my hands and arms in the right places
Yes, I’ll make a video on blocking position soon for you. For now, think that you still have to be big when you make a shell. Don’t get smaller.
@@expertboxing Thank you very much, I look forward to watch that video :)
How can I retract a hook?
Either loop it through. Or even better, stop your hand at the halfway point and don’t let it swing through.
Hey johnny, I have a question
I used to wear braces, now I’m wearing retainer only.
Should I wear my mouthguard with retainer or should I have to take my retainer off then I wear my mouthguard when sparring ?
Sorry for my bad english. Hope you answer my question.
I would probably go retainer off but maybe your orthodontist can advise you?
Muhammad Ali and Lennox Lewis said this tip many times.
haha really? i’d love to see it
@@expertboxing Here's Lennox Lewis saying it : ua-cam.com/video/MPJMn7izjOM/v-deo.html
Dude audio sucks
yes, lots of technical things to learn here
