I've been singing for over 60 years, and STILL going strong. Have sung several Requiems. Grew up in a musical family. Took vocal training in high school. Through the years, I've gotten lazy. This past 2 years between moving and dealing with the covid shut down, tho I remained healthy, I didn't sing at all. Not good for me, since singing is part of my very soul. Point is, for someone like me, the video I just saw about simple breathing exercises it's quite helpful. Yet open for suggestions on basically how to clear out the cobwebs and re-learn the proper breathing and singing techniques without getting horse & running outta breath too quick.
Kudos for the Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you thought about - Riddleagan Beautiful Melody Remedy (google it)? It is an awesome one off product for improving singing skills minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my BF at last got cool results with it.
Thanks so much, ive always known how to breathe to diaphragm but never knew how to utilise this. I think the sighing into the note really clears this up for me on how to effectively sing from diaphraghm, thanks so much :)
I have no idea which one helps me the most yet because I somehow only thought I should look at breathing exercises now, after like a week or two of knowing I'd be in a singoff in a friend group today XD
Because I played flute when I was young, I has "throat breathing" practiced out of me. I've been sitting here, trying to breathe the other way just to try it 😅
Thank you for this hopefully it will help, I think you could show your hands also when on stomach... You see I am learning English.. And New accents.. Are a bit confusing... Thanks any way..
Great information. The demonstration of the exercises wasn’t clear as the instructor’s torso was not visible or picturized. Thank you very much for sharing this. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏽👍🏾👍🏽👍🏾👍🏽👍🏾🌺🌸🌺🌸👍🏻🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸👍🏻🌺🌸👍🏻🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@keqing4552 When u can from the nose so the neck stays open. I do a combination of both. Half mouth half nose at the same time and when i can from the nose
sounds like most of the time you are taking good breaths but sometimes not releasing enough at times for a deeper diaphragm support on certain notes but you're great!!!! keep singing =) God bless!

Can you please answer my question 🙏🙂
Is it better to breathe from your mouth or from your nose when singing?
Neither. You should breathe from your diaphragm.
