I recently moved to Dayton NV from California in 2022. I have seen some of the historic building as shown in this video, but did not know any of the towns rich history. Thank you, for sharing, very interesting. I also, enjoy going to Virginia City, which is so very close !

I enjoy the rich history of Nevada. Make sure to watch the other videos I have made. I make it northern Nevada from time to time because I have family there. I have visited and enjoyed VC several times as well and I never tire of it.

Thank you for this enjoyable and interesting video! I am glad I found your channel. I love ghost towns and am always looking for new ones to visit. Your channel will help me plan my itinerary for my next road trip visit to Nevada and Arizona in the spring. 😊

Hi - Appreciated your video and history of Dayton. The immigrants had quite a challenge of survival back then. Thanks for posting the video.

I did not know that the population of Dayton Nevada is approximately 15,000 people as of 2020 census, which is almost double its population in 2010 of 8,900. Will Dayton Nevada be incorporated as a city soon?

I hope that you don’t mind me enjoying your joy of exploration.
I know that you don’t express personal information but I know that you have a wealth of information within.
    We enjoy you.
I can surmise that the caves of Dublin Gulch were dug from tuff.
Which is cemented volcanic silicon ash.
Of course I would need to examine it closely to be 100% correct.
I have no need to be correct. However I always enjoy your historical videos.
I know that you have no need to be remembered.
    However, you are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

I love Dayton Nevada! Although it is growing, I am happy to know that most of it's history is well maintained and respected.

Michael, this was a decent walking tour of the Old Town Dayton. The Historical Society of Dayton Valley has done a wonderful job and I highly recommend it if you get there.

I live here, thanks for the great video. Unfortunately, an arsonist has burned down the train station, the Fox Hotel and the old post office building next to it.
