Over 12 years ago, early one morning, I found a burner phone on the garage counter that revealed my husband repeated infidelity. I left him a note to “move out today, sorry I couldn’t satisfy you, I tried”. Then I went attorney filed for divorce, had our grown sons take our bed apart later that morning. Both broke up long time marriages which hurt more family members & relationships than I can count. Apparently, they wanted to be together, he was only sorry the way I found out. They are still living together, mostly isolated from family and friends. The only regret I have is my two grandsons don’t know their pop pop bcuz he and my daughter remain estranged. I later learned from a psychiatrist that infidelity is on the person doing it, I didn’t cause it. I’d rather be alone than with a man who is unfaithful. Now I tell men, don’t cheat on your wife, if they get tempted , either be man enough to run the other way or leave her first. May God Bless and Comforts those with broken hearts 💔. You will heal and may live a more peaceful life on your own.
You're strong for going through those times. Its is a blessing to have good support system like your daughter/sons. Infidelity is inevitable when it comes to marriage but with support it will lessen the pain you may endured. The fault lies within your husband, you were blind sighted by his infidelity. He made his choice and he'll have to live with it. I can only pray you'll heal from the pain he had inflicted on you and your family and live your life.

Feeling an attraction to another person is normal and it happens. However, knowing the dangers right up front, it is important to get away from the temptation. That is our challenge. We don't have to eat all the candy in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Know where the door is and use it. Temptation is not as powerful as breaking off a relationship you stuck around and developed with the person. Get away while the getting is good.

My first husband cheated on me, i had two children and 4 months pregnant with the third and i took my kids/pregnant and left and never returned. Then my second husband cheated on me when i was pregnant with our second child. So i gave birth then left with 5 children and never returned. Best decisions i have ever made. Single mother of 5 children. Don't ever be afraid to leave, be strong, you'll be glad that you made the right decision to leave. If your not happy and he cheats, he will always cheat and you my dear will always be sad.

I about choked when I heard that someone thought they had the perfect marriage. Funny how things look from the outside. Before I left my ex husband due to his temper issues and verbal abuse, a young single mother from our church came up to me and said she wished she had my life. I looked at her and said, No you don't! Everyone thought the same thing about the two of us. So everyone was shocked when I left. Of course the ex lied about it and said I was the problem.

As someone who has been cheated on I will say it's so empowering to watch the cheater fall on his face after I washed my hands of him. He even came back trying to cry about how he ruined his life and wanted me back. It was the best feeling ever to say no and walk away.

A male co worker had been cheating on his wife of over 22 years with a girl at work who is only 21 years old. His oldest daughter is 22. Not sure how the wife found out but he came to work one day, with black eyes, bruises on face, with one side swollen and scratches all over his face and neck. He looked like he had not slept and he smelled awful. He lied to us, saying he got into a bar fight but we learned later from an associate that the wife beat him up!! No lie and none of us were surprised. I do not condone violence but I was not sad for him. During the affair, he was telling everyone at work really nasty things about his wife and kids, he constantly put down his wife and children behind their backs and so openly as if they meant nothing to him.
After the wife beat him up, she threw him out the house. He is sleeping in his car outside the 21vyears house where she lives with her mother.
He is now on drugs and about to lose his job because their inappropriate relationship was reported , he is the 21 year old supervisor and that's against company policy.
These fools do not think with the right head.

I know this situation is a reality for a lot of couples, and that there’s often other levels of abuse that accompanies the cheating. My wife & I met when we were both 15 years old in high school, she was in the 11th grade and I was in 10th. There’s 4 months difference in our birthdays but I’ve always called her a cougar, she obviously loves her man younger😊. We’ve been together since the day we met, I love her with everything I have and I know she feels the same about me. We have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren and I’m so thankful & blessed that she’s in my life, the thought of destroying my family has never crossed my mind.
Sister in law was like that: she had a two year affair with a married man, thinking all the time he was going to leave his family for her. She even got herself pregnant to force it to happen. Result? She now a single mom with a baby whose father never even wanted to see a picture of her son. The only one I'm truly sorry for in all this is that beautiful baby boy who deserved better, and maybe the man's wife, because from all I've heard, she's been a stay at home mom to these kids all her life and this is all the thanks she got.
