Much appreciated! Yeah, I can definitely understand when items are criminally underpriced to get re-listed. What I've ran into before is people listing an item worth about a vex, then getting an offer of a vex, then relisting for ohm to eek out one extra gul. There's definitely a learning curve that takes some time to find the deals and make fair trades as well. GL, m8!
omg thank you for mentioning the bit on 'offer' people. i generally just dont trade because 70% of traders are those people who want you to guess their price
Agreed. I can empathize with people who truly don't know the price, but a vast majority of people have a reserve price in mind, so the only logical reason they wouldn't let that price be known is so they can get more than it's worth.
yeah.. i definitely learned in the past seasons that rerolling gc's is a net loss in general. Pgems are as you said roughly a mal per 50. You basicaly need to hit a skiller every 5 rolls to make it worth while. I have to admit that i got some juicy gc's. It's not just skillers but also the chance of getting a 9 max ar lifer. Those can go for a ohm or more as well. Prices and values fluctuate and that is a good thing.. As long as everybody is informed ^^ Sometimes you have to be very convincing with your wording when it comes to trading. I personaly enjoy that challenge.
Im back on PD2 this season. I played season 1 but took a break after this. Great tips and reminders for me. I'm more of a solo player myself. Im going to do maping mostly. Thats what i like to do. I get wealth pretty well this way with trading my findings. Maybe not the best way, but its fun and still i can have pretty much everything i want. ...Maybe not perfect everything but everything not perfect if that make sense. My goal this season is to get Hadriel's Hand with some sockets (3 sockets would be very nice, but I dream of having 4, but would i be able to have one lol). I dont know how much it could cost tho I really have no clue since it was not present in season 1... It would be the perfect piece for my paladin build i have in mind. Lets see how it goes. See yall in few days Note: You nailed the last one. While doing trades, never wast peoples time, thats my number 1 rule. You want the item, then you go and trade it, stay polite say thx and leave. Both are happy, its wonderful.
Thanks, m8! I wish you luck on your quest to getting that weapon. Imo I would hope that weapon wouldn't cost as much as some other dclone/rathma items that have a wider appeal, but I would still assume to pay 100+. Granted, they are buffing drop rates for those items off dclone/rathma/dungeons.
Great video as always! Talking about slams, I slammed and bricked my first Soj. Then next one I found I slammed 10fcr! The wss's this seasons are weird because of the corrupted zones. My best corrupted zone was in arcane as an LS ama. I made 14wss in that 15min timer.
Hell yeah--congrats on the FCR soj! Yeah, that's a decent amount of WSS for one zone. I pretty much only farm corrupted chaos or cows since they catch my eye. I need to pay attention when arcane is up since that does sound like a good place to farm.
Great video! I'm pretty sure I watched it all, but I could've missed if you talked about it: Arcane Sanctuary is an insanely good place to farm, especially if you character isn't efficiently killing cows. You get even more mats, WSS, runes, pboxes, etc. from my experience. I have a guide on lite sorc specifically for arcane as I have done this the last 3 seasons and have been the richest I've ever been in any league.
That's an uncommon deal. I've never solicited that myself, but seen people overpay for that before. You're mostly always going to sell for mal, but sometimes you can sell 100 for gul, which is like ist+mal.
@@Spanxxxy ahh thx, yeah I don't like to make exploitative deals. I was referring to the gem u said is the second most sought after and realise now that that was emerald that I meant to type. Ok so 100 pgems or more, thx
@@Spanxxxysorry another noob qn, when u talk of selling crafting packs (50pemerald, 50frag, 50sol), practically speaking how do u list that as a trade on the pd2 site? Or do u create a game with that in the description?
Great video. Never knew you could reroll jewels! Bonus. Another thing I’ve noticed if you’re slightly behind farming you can buy runewords rather than using the runes yourself. I got a good last wish last season for cheaper.
If you reroll the jewels it lowers the item level so usually only worth to do on 85+ ilvl. At level 85 it lowers the ilvl to around 70 if I remember correctly. Still high enough level to get the good stuff.
Fantastic video mate. Pretty much majority of the most important info on how to get rich in PD2, all condensed within a single video. My only remark is you were talking very fast, it would be good to at least try to "visualize" each item you were talking about, just like you did with the perfect gems. Which by the way could be also spent for rerolling the GCs, which should be profitable especially early in the season, where each skiller is worth Um/Mal. I am super happy you touched the efficiency topic, especially the keys - farming them with anything else other than a fast teleport Sorc is typically a waste of time - you could have farmed so much more in maps during that time. And with Key Events, it's really not worth it. Just grind the maps, the events will eventually come and so will the keys (they can also come via Dark Wanderer event, if he will happen to spawn as one of the key droppers). Two additional remarks from my side: 1. Start mapping as soon as possible. People on Reddit keep talking that "if you can't map under 15-20 mins, then LoD content is better" - absolutely not. There are virtually no circumstances under which LoD content will be better / more efficient than maps. Even if it takes you 20+ mins to clear the map -> look at the XP/s meter, it goes off the charts. This means that: -> sheer monster density is great (more XP, more loot) -> map added MF improves your loot. Added Gold Find is good, too 2. Magic Find is important only at the very beggining of the season. The further the season goes, the less MF is important. Reason: there are already a gazillion of Shakos and Vipermagis on the market already, so you're not gonna sell yours, until it's a gg roll+slam. I would still advise to get around 120-130 MF and get your Gheeds early on (this will add up over time, spend that Mal/Um), cause after map added MF, your total MF should revolve around 180% MF. Reason: "Second biggest priority is to get 170-186 MF because that is the range where rare rings have highest drop chance. 170-175 is range for rare jewels, so I aimed for 176-186*"* - this is the quote from the Rune farming olympics topic. Rare jewel drop should become your priority, as these little buggers can reach astronomical prizes. Other than that - just focus on the clear speed, Bora Gaming did a video on that (search "bora gaming how to get rich"). More kills per minute = more runes and other stuff. You will also level up your character faster and that synergizes with the above as well. And remember that some of the rare stuff can sell nicely too - I just sold a +5 corpse explosion necro shield for a Vex. And re-invest into your character, don't hold on to stuff which you will need much later on, invest now.
Good advice. I did some beta and the corrupted zones just gave too much candies and the monsters are easier to kill. An entire rakanishu camp just drops crazy goodies.
Damn, that’s exciting to hear. I’ve only watched one example and the drops were lackluster. I definitely plan on checking the areas out when they pop up. Ty!
@@Spanxxxy dark wood was the best because I got it 6 times. I put on mf gear and kill these 100hp devilkins. In 6 hours I got roughly 24 wss. I try to memorize patterns of map layouts and only hot spots in less than 3 mins.
Possibly. I've done one in the past, but it's technically dated with all the changes since I made it in S1 going into S2. Some other content creator friends have made similar videos as well. I'll think about it--ty!
Been out of Pd2 since season 5 Id say. Been playing last epoch alot its great man. Looks like you got a new video intro thing. Aint seen any videos for awhile but Im reinstalling PD2 and gonna try season 8. I think ima do clay golem to start.
Clay golem is definitely an option, but relative to other builds on the tier list, it’s the second worst build for mapping. The AOE isn’t very good, unfortunately. Welcome back nonetheless!
Very informative video. Is there a spread sheet that has potential value of stacks, shards, fragments, essence, keys, others somewhere? I'd be willing to trade an El for a list like that
^^ about the trade site.. i remember that one time where someone posted a 6socket bul kathos set col blade for Ber.. I then told him that i bought the 5 socket bk sword for a um a minute ago. i offered him a Mal rune and he took the Mal. The thing was.. he didn't know the actual value so he just posted it for a Ber, I've seen that more than once.. someone wanting a Ber for a item that is far below that worth. Some just shoot at the wall and see what sticks.
Definitely a good point, but there can be issues when both parties view the price differently. I know some people can get offended when the gap between prices is too much. Never gave the bk set a shot, but getting the max 5 in the sword and max 6 in the blade for um-mal seems like a great deal.
Which lootfilter do you recommend for early SSF (Showing craft recipes on items, blue jewels, gems, good RW base, low runes, etc) ? Thanks for the video.
Yep offer either means they know the "value" and want you to overpay by saying they have other offers, or even worse they have no clue about the value and want you to price check it for them before making up their mind what to sell it for.
Any recommendations as to what content to focus on/learn first as someone who is brand new to PD2 (but a vet of OG vanilla Diablo)? This will be my first season. All the new mechanics seem very overwhelming but I’m excited to get started!
Pick a meta build. Try to find a guide. Try to get to your end-game build without running out of respecs. Check out the wiki for runewords, especially the lower ones to help you progress faster. Keep in mind that many items have value that didn’t previously in LoD, so hold onto some things until you know the value. Try not to get ripped off. Learn what corruptions are possible for different slots. Generally fcr corruptions, 1 all skills, mana after each kill, and life after each kill are nice corruptions, among others. Note 2% max all res is really nice on amy/belt for uber content. Stick to one character until you’re efficient. Reference the hotkey guide, which I think is the letter H in game. Make sure you download a loot filter…I recommend kryszard’s. Reference my pinned comment for pricing…it might fluctuate slightly, but unlikely. Leveling isn’t a slog, and so many builds are good, so many items are useful, so don’t stress too much about mistakes as you learn.
@@Spanxxxy Thanks so much man! I’ve followed your advice and have been having a blast and learning a lot. Have had pretty good luck with runes and found my first ever Mang Song in 20+ years of Diablo on like day 3, didn’t brick it on corrupt, and decided to build my sorc around it since I may never find one again. Finished my merc infinity and swapped to lightning today, and am finally getting into mapping. Great mod, I don’t think I can ever go back to vanilla.
Early on if you don't need it personally, definitely sell as is. Once the price dips to vex/ohm I end up corrupting just for fun, but if you're low on runes, then it can still be smarter to sell clean.
Can you make a video titled "How to approach PD2 season 8 to have some fun" which focuses on that and how to think to evolve yourself and how to make the most out of your season journey?
I honestly think I'm too competitive for a casual journey..haha. There's usually a limited window on gaining and snowballing wealth until the crowd dwindles down and trading becomes harder. I would imagine simply playing SSF would produce the best experience for a casual experience. You could go at your own pace and drops would be infinitely more rewarding. Also, starting out slowly isn't nearly a slog as LoD and is actually really enjoyable since most builds can be started at level 1, rather than using a leveling building, then respecing later on.
@@Spanxxxy alright. You really dont have to think about it as a casual journey. What I meant is that even though PD2 is fresh, with everything that is going on, Diablo II is old. With that said, you can still evolve your gameplay, your personality, your knowledge, by having a specific approach to the season in its entirety. One example could just be, atleast for the start, to think like this: what would the best thing for me to do be, in order to bless someone else? Would it be to play with someone new through normal, in a slow pace? Would it be to run a couple public Diablo and/or Baal runs in normal, to try and make sure that people are getting runes for some starter runewords? Thats just some examples, to make my case. By having a new approach, one could experience new things, in an old environment. Meaningful things. And I really do believe that the PD2 community needs an injection of something new, to be able to keep things meaningful, even in-game. Yes. Solo self found is one way to go, thats true. I just think that this community could be elevated through the community itself, by stepping out of the line that has been created/approved/tested/established. And doing solo self found kind of restricts that possibility, if the ones doing it are staying true to the concept. Yes. You now are talking about something that is a strength in PD2. The overall "fun and strong from the get go" build diversity that has been created, is something that could enable so many people to take a step back and ponder what possibilities they have; to create cool partys, slow down the pace to teach and be taught, help others in other ways then rushing them and giving them gear, stay in LoD content longer before mapping. We should not walk the wider path, not when we are walking into season 8 of a game.
Nightmare cows. You can also find public maps to leech XP and potentially .roll for drops. If you’re doing low damage and have to channel longer, then work on survivability by getting a stormshield and going max block. Definitely get an A2 defiance merc with life leech. You can craft him some blood gloves/belt/helm until you get him a string, crown of theives, tal helm, or andy helm. The defiance gives you another 8 PDR. Cold damage is specifically hard since you won’t shine until infinity, plus A3 blizzard does great damage for early game, but you’re already doing cold. You can mix in pit runs, especially corrupted. Get your ele skillers as soon as possible.
Check my trade site tutorial video that goes over the process. Also, note sometimes the trade site is flakey and could be acting up every now and then.
Yeah, WSS definitely started a little lower, but trust the price will go up. From my experience the corruption zones haven't been worth it and don't drop that many WSS..well, outside of corrupted cows. The only expensive thing I've seen so far are cold items since many are doing ice blast.
@@Spanxxxy One Ice Barrage sorc in a P8 group mapping destroys, it does depend on the map. Just need a tank and CC tank and convict healer pally and every maps just drops to sub 5 with 300+ density
5:35 I learned this the hard way... today for the first time in my life they dropped Tyrael Might on me, and I threw a wss at him... guess what happened hahaha... yellow armor... at least he came out with damage and improved armor, but god, I don't think I'll ever get something like that again xdd QQQQ
I am playing PD2 Plugy Singleplayer and my notes on items don't look like that at all. Is that normal? I have also noticed that some runewords don't show up on possible (or any) bases. Infinity for instance does not show up on 4os Polearms or anything. Does that have something to do with Loot Filter?
One more thing: rerolling GCs and crafting purely for profit. Imo, esp option #2 is not worth it. There are 7 classes and all of them want the same type of craft, for example caster craft is no use for most Barbs. 50 Rals, 50 amethysts, 50 frags and 50 amu ilvl 90+ are worth like a Vex, so 0.5. You will also use like at least 6-10 wss to corrupt better crafts. So your total spendings are at least 0.55 HR and plenty of time. I tried to sell a stupid +2 sorc, like 15% FCR, all res and MF amu and got a Mal out of it. It's not easy to craft and sell. Do it only if you craft for own use. Rerolling GCs is more profitable, much higher chance of getting a skiller, max dmg charm, all res, high AR + life, high res + life.
If you’re asking about why it’s played versus other Diablo content, the big differences have to do with itemization being improved, tons of quality of life changes, balances to all the skills, and lots of end-game content has been added with maps, dclone, and rathma. There’s still a ladder leaderboard, but there are also achievements that grand glowing aura charms if you’re top 3 to kill dclone and/or rathma.
critique as a necro who has to awnser tons of questions by new players because the tierlist on necro is very far from acurate+ contains non existing specs/doesnt feature meta specs@@Spanxxxy(examples he has full claygolem on it ..... its not a thing, i didnt see full skellymancer wich been a spec since archer got introduced, its missing best necro sum spec wich is "green goblin"). (its okey not knowing these things, but then just dont make a tierlist.) also never seen him ask any of the expert necro's for opinions or help.
In Season 1-6 I never killed uber/rathma/dclone. In S7 I killed ubers 3 times in the last week of the season, and tried and failed clone 3 times. I plan on trying again in S8, but it's not how I gain wealth.
Everything is relative. It's easier than D2R when it comes to drop rates since the baseline of LoD content on PD2 is players 5, then it's players 3 inside maps iirc. Also, PD2 tweaked all the skills to be more viable early on, so leveling isn't such a slog. In terms of end game content, virtually every build can do a lot of the maps, depending on immunities. At the start of a season clearing a map might take around 20 minutes, then once you get upgrades you get closer to clearing in 10 minutes. In terms of ubers, dclone, ratha, uber ancients, and dungeons, only a handful of people can run this content, especially the level 1 and level 2 difficulties for dclone and rathma. The end game content can be extremely difficult to achieve, especially efficiently. People usually make dedicated mapping characters and dedicated uber content characters.
@@Spanxxxy hahaha I guess. My discord chat was hilarious when I found it. Two people encouraging me to slam it and three others calling me an idiot when it bricked.

yeah.. i definitely learned in the past seasons that rerolling gc's is a net loss in general.
As long as everybody is informed ^^
Sometimes you have to be very convincing with your wording when it comes to trading.
See yall in few days
Note: You nailed the last one.
I'm pretty sure I watched it all, but I could've missed if you talked about it:
Arcane Sanctuary is an insanely good place to farm, especially if you character isn't efficiently killing cows. You get even more mats, WSS, runes, pboxes, etc. from my experience. I have a guide on lite sorc specifically for arcane as I have done this the last 3 seasons and have been the richest I've ever been in any league.
Dang, that would've been a good place to recommend alongside places with no travel distance. Great addition for sure! Ty!
Going to start the season 9, very hyped. Any tip to farm NM before Hell? Was considering Meph, but I am very outdated. Tyvm peace.
Nice vid thanks. Whe u talk abiut selling perfect sapphires for an ist+, how many would you typically sell for that deal?
Best tip for gaining wealth is:
Play a lot and sell a lot while ur doing it
Great video. Never knew you could reroll jewels! Bonus. Another thing I’ve noticed if you’re slightly behind farming you can buy runewords rather than using the runes yourself. I got a good last wish last season for cheaper.
Good tip! The expensive runewords rarely retain the value of the runes/base.
Two additional remarks from my side:
1. This means that:
-> sheer monster density is great (more XP, more loot)
-> map added MF improves your loot. Added Gold Find is good, too
Reason:
"Second biggest priority is to get 170-186 MF because that is the range where rare rings have highest drop chance.
Great insight and tips. Appreciate the response! Also, ty!
Sorry I am new to pd2 how do I corrupt a map?

Could you do an intro to PD2 for new comers? Explaining the end game and what to do with crafting and other new mechanics
Possibly. I've done one in the past, but it's technically dated with all the changes since I made it in S1 going into S2. Some other content creator friends have made similar videos as well. I'll think about it--ty!
Legendary!
@@Spanxxxy What should i do then corpse ? I am gonna respec soon. I just made it to NM earlier. Than server took a crap.
Very informative video. Is there a spread sheet that has potential value of stacks, shards, fragments, essence, keys, others somewhere? I'd be willing to trade an El for a list like that
I updated my pinned comment with a list.
Actually good economy advice, easy like and sub.
Which lootfilter do you recommend for early SSF (Showing craft recipes on items, blue jewels, gems, good RW base, low runes, etc) ? Thanks for the video.
I've only ever used Kryszard's loot filter. Imo it has the best hierarchy emphasis with the importance of drops without being gaudy.
Good advice, I ignore everything listed as "offer" don't be that guy
Great mod, I don’t think I can ever go back to vanilla.
man i fkn love your videos, VERRY great information espeticially since the new ladder is starting tormorrow :O :D

Super informational! Nice vid man!
Thanks, m8!
whats your thoughts on Arachs? Slam or sell clean
Early on if you don't need it personally, definitely sell as is. Once the price dips to vex/ohm I end up corrupting just for fun, but if you're low on runes, then it can still be smarter to sell clean.
run maps.
Still was useful. Although have so many hours in pd2 and d2. Was wasting sculs on maps 😢
sick video, thanks
Season 8 hype !!
HYPE, HYPE, HYPE!
Spanxxximus with another one! :D let's hit those 10k
Good stuff
I never slam que 1+tho ;)
I have seen a dude.. with a 1 all slammed 1+ que.. that is painful to watch i tell you lolol
Very painful. Don’t know why people do that late game..haha. I can understand early game though.
1 play open beta and see which build is most efficient/cheapest for ubers
2 get friends and do day1 uberkiller or day 2 if ur solo
3 ???
4 Profit
But what do you do before hell cows? Started the season as Arctic Blast druid a few days ago and I‘m 85 now. But too weak for hell cows..
@@Spanxxxy thanks man, will try it this weekend!
So how do you POST on that trade site? I can see 'some' of my characters, but not the stash, nor can I put anything for sale...
Check my trade site tutorial video that goes over the process. Also, note sometimes the trade site is flakey and could be acting up every now and then.
Great video !
Thanks, m8!
The market has been wild this season. So many players dumping for low prices

Slam with no back ups or no balls! Great video tho.
5:35
I learned this the hard way... today for the first time in my life they dropped Tyrael Might on me, and I threw a wss at him... guess what happened hahaha... yellow armor... at least he came out with damage and improved armor, but god, I don't think I'll ever get something like that again xdd QQQQ
Damn, that's rough. Massive balls move to slam it, that's for sure. The only items I've never found on PD2 are tyrael's and a mirror.
Yes, I use kryszard's loot filter, which displays all that extra information.
300 and 400 hr? damn
Whats the points of pd2
If you’re asking about why it’s played versus other Diablo content, the big differences have to do with itemization being improved, tons of quality of life changes, balances to all the skills, and lots of end-game content has been added with maps, dclone, and rathma. There’s still a ladder leaderboard, but there are also achievements that grand glowing aura charms if you’re top 3 to kill dclone and/or rathma.
d2s best diablo and this is an improved version of it
DH tierlist is legit worse then if a toddler got his hands on some crayons and painted on my walls.

First of all, HOW DARE YOU!
I just watched the whole video and im confused........does this guy do uber content???
In Season 1-6 I never killed uber/rathma/dclone. In S7 I killed ubers 3 times in the last week of the season, and tried and failed clone 3 times. I plan on trying again in S8, but it's not how I gain wealth.
I heard PJD2 is too easy.. Is that so?
I’m that guy that bricks his day one shako hahah :(
