  • I installed the AltRider high fender kit on my Tenere 700 and the fender it shipped with was useless for off-road. I added an Acerbis front fender for a 2006 YZ450F. Today I road and off-road tested the fender and this was my result. I had to remove an inch off the back of fender to clear my crash bars. I'll keep it on until I find something better. The aftermarket fender was just $25. I hope this helps you if you're looking at fender alternatives for the high fender kit.

The mud and rocks come up to the radiator from the back side of the tire and is why I kept the rear half of the stock fender with an extender. Mud packing may still be an issue though as I avoid those conditions.

Looks good! my fender is sitting in my garage right now. I have Outback motortek crash bars and i think i won't have to trim it but won't know till i fit it. Still haven't gotten the high fender into the mud but you have proof the fender in the kit does nothing lol
