If u buy oswald wirths book tarot of the magicians, the one with an introduction by mary greer, it has his original 1889 deck included pin the back on card. Very cool set for 20 quid.

My 1st tarot deck back in the late 2000s was a classic RWS, or what I'd call now the "English" tarot deck. I never went anywhere with it since going on the rather limited and fixed meanings provided by the included LWB never resonated with me. It got lost in a move and I didn't miss it until recently.
Speaking of recently, I got a new English translation of the classic Doctrine and Ritual of High Magic by Eliphas Levi. My initial choice of a "Continental" tarot deck to go along with it came down to the Conver-Ben-Dov TdM deck by U.S. Games. At first I was underwhelmed by the abstract nature of the CBD deck, but having watched a few videos on UA-cam by the late Dr Yoav Ben-Dov, I came to a new appreciation for why it is the way it is. I am waiting for his book, The Open Reading to arrive. Meanwhile, I also ordered the "full" Wirth deck from Lo Scarabeo, knowing that the included pips are not original to his design, but also preferring the style to that of the U.S. Games version, which has some rather poor details, as you note.

Interesting that there is a typo in the booklet cover, the name of Oswald is incorrect.

Hi, great information, thank you. Would you happen to know why the 1976 version has a red box edition and a blue box edition for the same deck and same year?

The new one coming out in June looks great! I actually like the US Games deck but I don’t really see it as an Oswald Wirth deck. It’s Wirthish 😂 I use it occasionally. I have an older version of the US Games

From Amazon description Oswald Wirth (1860 - 1943) was a Swiss occultist, Kabbalist, and Freemason.

Both of these can be currently ordered via Amazon. The new one is not yet on Amazon U.S. but can be currently ordered from Book Depository. It came out about a month ago, but will come out here in June. I will review it as soon as it arrives. I think there are already walkthroughs on youtube for it - The Symbolic Tarot of Wirth.

@@pixelking_871 They're both on Amazon. Just do a search there for Golden Wirth and Oswald Wirth Tarot. If you can't find them let me know.

If you read Descartes meditations on first philosophy he soes solve and coagulate himself by discounting anything he cannot prove without doubt.
