I think we're friends, too!💛 I love to study as well, and I recently had the realization that -- as you said -- I can't study them all. So I'm giving myself grace about that and just studying one deck at a time instead of trying to think about all of them. 😂 Your videos are wonderful, and I'm so happy to have found your channel! Thank you so much!!! 💐
yayy! this is the sweetest message thank you so much for receiving what i’m putting out. 💜💜 i don’t think i’ve fully come to that realization yet 😅 hopefully soon i’ll come to terms and take it one deck at a time! i appreciate you and i’m so glad to have you here! 🌸✨
@@everonward. Yeah it's so hard because we want to do it all and study every one of them until we know everything about them. Have all the knowledge, and do all the things. And of course we are fully capable of doing it all! Because that's what we do, isn't it. AND we need to be realistic about our precious time (something I'm no expert at) and prioritize other important things. So, I study one deck at a time and love ALL of them at the same time (she says as she looks at the two decks currently sitting out next to their own journals). Ha! 😂
yes yes to everything you said!! it’s so funny you use the words precious time and it’s been on my mind a lot. i’ve been working on prioritizing in various areas and its been paying off. i’m curious what your studies look like in general? what decks you studying now? i’m considering starting a journal for my next intensive with the haindl, which surprisingly as one of my faves i haven’t given it a dedicated journal for study.
@@everonward. Oooooh I love the Haindl for the Rachel Pollack, but the art does not appeal to me. Very worthy of study!! And having a dedicated journal is not necessary -- for me, it helps motivate me and reduces distractions. Hmm...my studies in general. [I just wrote the longest TarotTube comment in the world, but I deleted it and will send you an email -- I hope that's okay!!] Coming soon... 🙂
Fantastic video, I enjoyed hearing about your experiences with all these decks. I have decks that could fit into each of these categories too. 😁 Thank you for sharing with us! ❤
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! That last bigass deck you showed? I want it now, too, even though I know it'll heeby jeeb me just like it does you. My favorite deck is that Dust to Onyx. Oh my, what a beauty!
so glad you enjoyed! haha yea the alchemical visions deck is kinda irresistible for some reason. and the Dust II Onyx, right?! stunning and seriously wonderful!
I am the same way about decks! I am determined to make them work. I've only recently started selling/trading my decks after telling myself that I never would and it honestly has been such a relief to get rid of stuff that wasn't working. And it was nice to stop forcing them too! Love your video!
oooh good to know someone else feels similarly. and you've definitely got me thinking... i want to feel that relief! it's an executive dysfunction thing, i can't ever get past the first step of listing my decks somewhere lol but this gave me a push. thanks for watching and sharing!
it was me who talked about the dance card I love that deck on my altar to pull a card to get a dedication practice for deity. I danced every day for a month when i had the dance card and I just go with the first thing that resonates on the card. also the archetype deck I use to spy on people 😂
yes, as soon as i saw the dance card, i knew it was you. what a lovely experience! i will definitely try that with the deity i work with, thank you for the suggestion. spy on people?.... oooh i'm intrigued now lol
Love your vibe! Love your thoughts sharing decks. I’m curious about your thoughts on the chariot being a wheelchair and why ick. You peeked my curiosity on that. Looking forward to watching more of your content.
thanks so much! and i appreciate you asking. the reason the wheelchair chariot gives me some ick feelings is because it’s a stereotypical place to put a wheelchair, often it’s the only depiction of disability in a deck. for me it gives the impression of a nondisabled person seeking to show “empowerment” but it really just shows that the common view of a person in a wheelchair as being “bound.” it just doesn’t give what’s intending to. i would much rather see disabilities depicted throughout a deck as a normal thing rather than in this tokenizing way. of course not all disabilities can be shown visually, but this is my general observations in decks. so when i see a wheelchair in a chariot card my first reaction is find it lacking creativity. as i said, it did resonate with me in this case so it’s not a one size fits all, just frustration with lack of representation for bodies and disabilities and seeing similar things repeated. i’m so glad you asked, i’m glad to discuss it and would love your thoughts as well! thanks for being here 🌸🌸
I bought the Tao oracle too, but I definitely like using the stalks. It's more meditative and feels more...authentic? I have my favourite translation on hand and really like the process.
yes, makes sense that’s more authentic. i haven’t done the stalks method yet, but just hearing that i’m more looking forward to it. i’d love to know what your favorite translation is. would you mind sharing?
For the seed and sickle-are you pulling keywords from both books or did you just pick the book you resonated more? also, for my two liminal 11 decks, I flipped the inner box upside down so then I only have to flip open the flap and slide out the deck/book. The magnets on the flap are strong enough that the cards don't just fall out. It's a small change but made it significantly less annoying for me.
i used both books! and if there was something that stuck out in the entries but wasn’t in the listed keywords at the front, i put that. i let my intuition guide but i wanted to have a range of 3-5 keywords so it could be used for any reading. oooh that’s so smart! i will definitely try that for the boxes, thanks for the tip!
Hello! 🌻 Your English is very, very beautiful! I am not a native speaker and your video sounds like music to me! :) Thank you for the story about the deck! Very interesting! I can't start a full work with Fez Inkwright's oracle yet either.
Candy at Candy, Soul, and Soil talks about how she had a bunch of decks she was "saving for best" like cherishing them by holding onto them and saving them for some "perfect" future use. She realized that those "perfect" uses were probably never going to come, so why not just use the decks instead of saving them for best. What you were talking about with the Dust II Onyx deck made me think of what she said.
thanks for the reminder! i needed this. i’m going to pull her out and see what she wants to talk about, start a dialogue and see what happens. while i definitely believe in honoring the timing of things, i don’t want to be a perfectionist about it! thanks again 🌸
Fantastic video, it's so relatable... I use the archetypes deck, not very often, I don't read for others, only rarely I use it to ask how somebody is or how somebody sees me in a given situation, say a job interview, or when deciding whether someone is lying about something . I use jumpers, as usually only a card pops out. The card stock and card size are awful but this deck gives very accurate answers, it might hurt but it helps. It is useful for shadow work as well. Thanks for sharing!❤
sounds like it’s a good deck for mostly interpersonal readings - that makes a lot of sense given our archetypal energies and embodiments can be mostly contextualized in relationship. and yea the card stock is horrible lol. thanks for watching and for your suggestions 🌸😊
i've wanted the dark days too but i can't justify it knowing how i feel about this one... time will tell if i try it instead, i'll have to see a walkthrough, it's been a while
It's funny that you mentioned the considering selling at the Caroline Myss archetypes decks, I have read her book on archetypes and have been looking for the deck if someone hasn't already asked would you consider selling it?

haha yes! that's absolutely ok, i will go check it now!
What’s the deck on the right when you’re talking about “I Ching”? It looks beautiful. Reminds me of the art work of Georgia O’Keefe!
it’s the visionary i ching cards! by paul o’brien, art by joan larimore. you’re so right! i never noticed that!
Fantastic video, I enjoyed hearing about your experiences with all these decks. I have decks that could fit into each of these categories too. 😁 Thank you for sharing with us! ❤

Oh the Mother tarot has been off and on my list for a while. That whole Wands/swords switch tho. It's in the Dark Days too but easier to ignore.
i've wanted the dark days too but i can't justify it knowing how i feel about this one... time will tell if i try it instead, i'll have to see a walkthrough, it's been a while
It's funny that you mentioned the considering selling at the Caroline Myss archetypes decks, I have read her book on archetypes and have been looking for the deck if someone hasn't already asked would you consider selling it?
yes i would definitely be willing to sell. shoot me an email at blossomeverlua@gmail.com!
