A tip for your dishes: To conserve water, wipe out food particles with a paper towel, then spray with a 50/50 concentration of vinegar & water, then wipe out with a clean paper towel. No water needed unless it is extremely dirty. The 2nd paper towel can be used to wipe out the food particles in the next pot or plate. The dirty paper towels can be used to start your campfires. Vinegar & water can also be used to clean up the kitchen. Vinegar is a natural disinfectant and cheap to use. It is the cheapest & best multi-tool in your kitchen or medicine cabinet. Google its uses & try it.

My Husband and I met later in life. We have a blended family. Our Heaven on Earth is our 5th wheel. If we could live there in winter, we would. Thirty years we still like each other. God Bless ya!!
Congratulations!! You now have the best of two worlds - living outside in the daytime and being protected in the nighttime. Plus, the added bonus of not having to work so hard setting up & breaking down camp. Can't wait to see how everything is stored, how many shelves are added, etc. Enjoy!!
Congratulations guys !!!,sooo happy for you both you've work so hard for dream to become reality . I'm so excited to see more once you get back out there, stay safe Happy camping 🥰🥰
I was sitting here wondering what in the world if “phen-all” when you were talking about the pepperoni 🤔 then I realized it was fennel 😂😂😂 This is quite a learning curve but looks like y’all will be happy.
Cordy and Kelly just ordered out you two need a break just kik back and relax and a case of the cold ones ya beer and pizza it the best take care happy camping
You guys are so funny Like kids in a candy store Yes you need something around the stove for the splatter Have fun in your new camper and you will be able to come to Canada ❤
It's called an inverter.... you also need a pizza stone for your oven... also what I did in my camper was you can take the plate off the bottom of the table you have now and make a nice little piece of round Wood and put the plate on the connected to that piece of wood and you can have a round smaller table
We're teardrop campers and our tiny camper doesn't have a bathroom. However, we do have a small, very portable flushable toilet that is WONDERFUL (which we've deemed as a no poop zone). The top reservoir holds fresh water, the waste flushes into the well sealed bottom reservoir, it uses RV toilet pods so absolutely no smell and can carried to and dumped into in a regular toilet or dump station. A lot of built out vans also use this type toilet. For poop we have a small fold up system similar to a bedside commode that uses a bag as a container for poop. If you need a little tweaking to your system check these out. Amazon to the rescue! Be safe and have fun!
This is an amazing truck camper. You guys being SO self contained would make great team for disaster relief work. I am Capt. B with Disaster Serices USA, we just got back from Ft Myeres and I tell you self reliance is the key. I am thinking about forming NOMADS IN DISASTER RELIEF TEAM. What do u think!
Love your new camper! Kelly, if you find things you are cooking in the oven are burning on the bottom, put a pizza stone on the rack and place your pan on that. It will distribute the heat more evenly. Can’t wait for all your new adventures in your new home.
I just love this couple. They are so perfect for each other. It's nice to see and watch their love towards each other. Cody your personality is so refreshing. Your a kid in a man's body but so responsible. Kelly your a sweetheart would love being your friend if we knew each other of coarse. I look forward to your videos every week. Have a perfect day.
So excited to see your upcoming videos! We have an Arctic Fox 865 on an F450 and absolutely LOVE the truck camper! Can’t wait to watch Kelli cook more in the TC and you’ll love how easy it is to roll in to your site with minimal setup. Oh your channel is going to step up a notch and be so fun to watch! Welcome to the TC CLUB!! Cheers!
I suggest you look into a Lagun table mount. You can use your existing table, or build a table to a size that meets your needs. The Lagun mounting system will allow for much more leg room than your current table and be so much easier to move into position for eating/working, and out of the way when lounging.
I just have to say, I adore you guys!!! You love each other, and show it to each other. You're happy, all the time, and truly appreciate what you have. Your joy is contagious!!!
I set off the smoke detector every time I cook in my Motorhome. Love your videos and enjoying the new adventure. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
I'm so glad y'all got a new truck camper, I think y'all will enjoy it a lot more than ruffing the elements all the time. My wife and I have watched every video y'all ever made and have enjoyed them all. We are wishing you the best on all of your adventures. We will be tuning in to your videos for all your furture adventures. We would love to see Arkansas one day. Good luck and God Bless y'all!
Also you may want to disconect the 7way to the truck before you connect 110v shore power to the camper. Some people have fried the truck computer from the backfeed if the wiring is bad on the 110v plug you feed from.
So happy y'all shared that with us. My wife is also an angel princess of the mountain and we love y'all. The one thing that came to our minds is the lagoon table would be great for the shuffle of that space
So how did y'all sleep? Was the bed comfortable? The camper looks terrific and I'm really happy for you. I think it's going to serve you (as well as the truck) for a long time to come. What an upgrade!
Next to the stove, think about heat proof pexiglass with a space between it and the wood. I cook bacon every morning, just use the fan to draw the smell up and away from the bedding. I've enjoyed following you videos. Thanks for posting.
Awesome truck camper. But might I suggest a bigger sturdier last step stool from the camper. From experience they break easily. Would hate for y’all to break an ankle getting down.
I put a 20 inch silver hot pad against the wall by the stove. I have about the same distance from stove to wall as you. It has worked perfectly. Also, a quart size zip lock bag fits exactly over the smoke alarm, especially when cooking bacon! Then when I’m done, I remove the bag!
We have the same camper. Invest 200 dollars in a Lagan table mount and you life will improve 100 percent. No more table legs to deal with, just push table top out of the way! Best gift you can give yourself.
success! one thing you can do to keep from burning food in the oven is put a square of heavy duty foil (I fold a long piece in half to fit and for thickness) just above the burner, below the rack. I've cooked Thanksgiving dinner, casseroles, biscuits, desserts...no burn. Enjoy your new rig! It's a beauty!! May it take you on lots of new adventures!!
OMGEEEEE YALL!! Kellyyyy. We have watched ya'll since before you announced living out of the tent full time. We have watched you blossom, bloom and boost your confidence. THIS video was soooo fun to watch-your excitement, joy, everythiiiing. What an upgrade and we LOVED ya in the tent ⛺️ aha! Stoked for this next adventure. The 5 videos before you decided to get your new home were feeling like it was getting rough so bless this upgraaaade.
The oven will cook more even if you place a floor tile in the bottom of the oven. It evens the heat out. You also need to get double bottom pans for baking.
If the smells get into you bedding, before you hop in bed rub a dryer sheet on your sheets and comforter close to where you faces will be. It does help.
Ya'll are so like 2 kids in a candy store......and I LOVE every second. I am so excited for you guys. ENJOY. You sure have endured some patience. I loved tent camping (in my younger years) but as you get older.....creatures comforts are a must. I love the camper. I hope you have more time to enjoy your travels in this new rig. Thanks for sharing.
Been watching your channel off and on for awhile. Just now subscribed since you bought the truck camper and I plan on going full time in a truck camper in a few years. Have seen 3 truck camper vids of yours so far and have thoroughly enjoyed them. You guys make fantabulous and enjoyable videos. Some things I’ve picked up on from watching other full time truck camper YT’ers you might want to think about… -Pizza stone for your oven -thermometer for your oven -small dehumidifier for when it gets colder and you start to use your furnace -cover for your maxair vent so you can use it when it rains -legun table which would slide back ‘n forth and side to side so don’t have to tear down and set up your table all the time Placing the lift kit under your mattress was a very wise move Looking forward to seeing your future adventures as get going on the road…safe travels wherever the roads shall take you
Get a cookie sheet that fits your oven and line it with aluminum foil...lay your bacon on it, cook it in the oven uncovered for around 18 to 20 minutes. No mess, just toss the aluminum foil when you're done or use it to wrap and refrigerate extra bacon. For me that was a game changer. I always bake my bacon...comes out perfect every time. Just adjust cooking time for how much crisp you like. LOVE the new trailer!! I would feel SO much safer from wild animals while camping in areas that I wasn't as familiar with. And I can totally see how not setting up camp all the time is going to be so nice!
LAGUN TABLE - You would be so happy with a Lagun table mount and table top. You wouldn't have to constantly mess with taking the leg supports in and out and you can swivel it to whatever position you need at any given moment. Love you guys. Enjoy your new camper!
Enjoy the camper, it is a really nice upgrade for you and your travels. That said, don't spend money trying to upgrade the converter in your camper with Lithium. Reach out to BattleBorn Batteries and let them set you up with a Victron system that manages power for you. That way you can run not only DC things like your lights and fans, but also use AC devices like your microwave and anything that you need to plug in like battery chargers for cameras, etc. It makes it so that your camper is no different than a home with power coming from the wall at all times. Add a DC-DC charger (Like a Redarc BCD1250D or Victron 12-30 DC-DC) you can charge the camper much faster after using the electric with higher loads. Adding several solar panels to the roof (Around 800 watts) will make it so you never worry about power at camp. No generator needed except for super hot days that you might need an AC. I've installed these in a Palomino and even share power we have with others at camp to make their stay better. Fellow Arkie here as well. Safe Travels!
This Man LOVES his Wife, ANGEL PRINCESS!! She is a Great Cook and is the boss !! The Channel is fun and they seem happy and Love each other.. 😎😎😎 I like your Channel for reasons like that.. Hope you visit Ontario, Canada.. Come through Detroit... I'll come say Hi..
I can't wait to hear more about your new plans for how your Vlogs will be going... I'm sure that you'll both be much happier living in this unit... then you'll advance down the road to a Travel Trailer, which will be better yet.. I can't wait... Love you both very much!!!!
LOVE the new camper!! WHY SO MANY COMMERCIALS in this video? We love your channel and watch every video! Y’all are an inspiration! Looking forward to the new steps in this journey! Blessings and Shalom!🙌🙌
hey yall you're friendly fellow camping enthusiast here, i also happen to be a battery salesman at a small family owned battery company in west TN, just thought i would offer some information. the converter/inverter does not power the batteries, it is only a go between for the stuff you want powered. the voltage coming out of the batteries is going to be 12 volt. the amperage rating of you're batteries will determine how long you're batteries will power you're stuff. the converter/inverter is only there to change you're battery voltage from 12 volts to 120 volts so that you can run things that require 120 volts. if yall have any questions please feel free to pick my brain pm me id be happy to help any way i can!! there is definitely more to these systems to know but that's just you're base info. ps love the new set up!!!
Long time viewer first time commenter, absolutely love the direction this channel has gone but still has all the elements I love about it, setting up a tent all the time is a lot work. Can't wait to see another kayak camp and hiking camping now use have a base.
I highly recommend a set of Anderson leveling blocks, a water pressure regulator, a zero G water hose, and a wire mesh drain strainers for your kitchen sink to keep food particles from going into your grey tank. Be sure to wipe down all of your cookware with some cleaning wipes before you wash them in the sink. Only allow soapy water to go into your grey tank. Grey tanks can smell just as bad as black tanks if you’re not careful.
Suggestion: Get yourself a Rubbermaid Home 2951 Rectangle Dish Pan and put that in one side of your sink. You can fill that up with the dish water and use the other side of the sink as the rinse area.
I also remove the whole smoke detector when I'm cooking and place it on the bed so I don't forget to put it back where it belongs before bed. SAFETY FIRST!!!!
Kelly you and Cody are so cute, and down to earth. I am so happy for both of you. Enjoy your new camper. Love watching your adventures. Stay safe, I would definitely put something fire resistant on the wall next to that burner.
I’m so happy for you guys. My husband and I are full time and when we first got out motorhome we were so excited just like you guys. Congratulations 🎉🍾
If you find heat is an issue on that wall next to the stove, you might consider cutting down a 'hearth pad' for a backsplash. If you're worried about the mattress near the sink - simple fix would be a small piece of 1/4 plywood tucked between the mattress and backsplash
We were more than happy when we upgraded from our tent to a 20' toyhauler. The main advantage is in setting up as well as breaking down camp. With our tent setup, it took us about 2 hours, while we discovered from parking the toyhauler to fully setup, I can do it alone in 15 minutes. No making up our bed, or anything else. What a relief it's been.
Congratulations! Get a king size throw to toss over the top of the bedding when cooking. That throw may absorb most of the smell. Remove it when you are ready to go to bed.
I'm happy for you with your new home! As a person who used to have an RV, who sold it because of rodents, allow me to suggest peppermint and Irish Spring soap to put under and in your RV. They don't like the smell.
You might want to invest in a Froli sleep system for under your mattress to stop mildew from forming. When it gets cooler at night you will get condensation build up on walls, windows and under your mattress. The Froli system allows air flow to dry it out.
Dawn power wash - excellent low water RV cleaner - wipe out excess foods, spray, set for just a min (for those stuck on items) everything wipes right out.
We have a LANCE camper. BIG TIP!!!!!: Use FEBREEZE!!!!! Get the kind that's for fabric!! I spray our bedding, cloth window boxes, seating cushions, and our outdoor coats we wear around the campfire! ITS A MIRACLE SPRAY for campers!!! Also, having the backseat of your truck is super helpful. It holds alot of stuff. I Love my camper. It is like a playhouse. I love cooking in it. Everything's right there!! You have a nice rig!!
You guys make me happy! You are thrilled over all the space you have! I discovered that I have a problem with claustrophobia (at 64 years old, who knew?) and actually had to get out of my in-laws 40 foot RV because of it. I think part of the problem was they had all the shades down, windows closed and lights turned down on a summer afternoon. I couldn’t see daylight anywhere and it basically freaked me out.
They look happy in the thumbnail lol. He loves her so much
So do I and love ❤how they get along and he compliments her
@@marie3919 She got pounded after this video!
You both have needed this home. You're smiling and laughing more than I have ever seen! Enjoy and we're all looking forward to your new adventures.
FIRE SAFETY AND ELECTRICALS
WOW CONGRATULATIONS you're gonna love the new rig. I thought I already answered these ??? but based on your questions and chat in this latest video, let me repeat:
1) FIRE SAFETY CONCERNS: Behind and beside the stove, instead of flammable backing backsplash consider thin bright shiny aluminum diamond style treadplate. It looks nice PLUS safer if hot grease splashes on it.
2) YES if you adapt/modify/convert your Converter/Charger so it suits Lithium it can charge TWO new 12 Volt batteries in parallel..If you do much of any dry camping, Lithium is a MUST HAVE...
3) In order to charge your new Lithiums when driving via the engines alternator (a MUST in my opinion) you need a DC to DC charger suitable for Lithium and Renogy makes a good 40 Amp unit. NOTE wire it (goes between trick and coach batteries) using two separate 6 Gauge Copper wires and Anderson connectors NOTTTTT the 7 pin round connector and its light wires.
4) If you add another solar panel (probably in series and I suggest at least a single 200 Watt) your existing Solar Charge Controller may or may not suffice. It depends on the total net current and net voltage of your new addition. If not an MPPT Solar Charge Controller (goes between panels and batteries) is so cheap n easy.
5) BLACK TANK: If you add another dump slide valve to your existing outlet (snaps on just like dump hose) open your existing black and gray slide valves, NOW GRAY CAN BE HELD IN BOTH TANKS to increase capacity between dumps
6) SHOWER WATER SAVER: If you change to an Oxygenics Shower Head it will reduce water use yet still yield adequate pressure
Do yall take time to read these comments?? I hope they help. Best wishes in your new home keep those cards n letters coming, I sure enjoy your blogs.

Enjoy!!
Your joy is palpable ❤❤ The new camper will be a lot of fun. More fun and less work. Enjoy!
Congratulations guys !!!,sooo happy for you both you've work so hard for dream to become reality . I'm so excited to see more once you get back out there, stay safe Happy camping 🥰🥰
You Both Are So Blessed To Have Each Other And You Both Agree On Alot Together So Wonderful❤😂❤😂
my wife and i can't quit talking about how comfy and homey the camper looks in such a small footprint. yall look happy so im happy!
You both look comfy and happy in your new home. The backsplash idea is great. You didn’t have to work so hard so you can enjoy relaxing more.
Oh you are breaking my heart with the acidic tomato in the cast iron pan.
🚫🍅🥵😩

There is one thing both of you forgot where's the POPCORN when watching a movie
I am so excited and happy for you both! Can’t wait to “go” on more adventures with you. Ya’ll are Uptown High Rent now!! ❤️😂😀
You guys are so funny
Like kids in a candy store
Yes you need something around the stove for the splatter
Have fun in your new camper and you will be able to come to Canada ❤
I'm ready for some pop corn guys!! O it's just 7:20. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We went with folding T V trays, we kept that table for outside. Hubs made a foot for ours it only had one pedestal in middle.
This guy never turners off the super respectful to woman in a southern Gentleman way. Plus complimenting his wife. Wise dude.
Yes, but a backsplash to handle the heat. Very nice home! (Jane)❤🙏🏻
I put shower cap over smoke detector with a magnetic note on vent hood to remind me to remove.

You might want to look into taping into the propane line and installing a quick connect. That way you won't have to carry a separate propane bottle.

Dont Get Rid Of Tent Tenting Is So Much Real Camping Camper Is A Travel House. ❤😂
Get to your campsite late? No worries just level and enjoy. What a quick set-up especially when you arrive in the dark. I love your truck camper.
The thumbnail pic of you guys looking at each other did it for me💚 You two are such an adorable couple.
Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🎊 👏 on your new little home 🏡 on wheels so happy for you both !! 💖

Also, a quart size zip lock bag fits exactly over the smoke alarm, especially when cooking bacon! Then when I’m done, I remove the bag!
It’s so cool seeing you guys go from full time primitive camping to basically “glamping”. Yeah definitely been through the paces and deserve it!
Thank you
We have the same camper. Invest 200 dollars in a Lagan table mount and you life will improve 100 percent. No more table legs to deal with, just push table top out of the way! Best gift you can give yourself.

Some things I’ve picked up on from watching other full time truck camper YT’ers you might want to think about…
-Pizza stone for your oven
-thermometer for your oven -small dehumidifier for when it gets colder and you start to use your furnace
-cover for your maxair vent so you can use it when it rains
-legun table which would slide back ‘n forth and side to side so don’t have to tear down and set up your table all the time
Placing the lift kit under your mattress was a very wise move
Looking forward to seeing your future adventures as get going on the road…safe travels wherever the roads shall take you

I like your Channel for reasons like that..
Hope you visit Ontario, Canada..
Come through Detroit...
I'll come say Hi..
Husband says for that toilet you might want to put some baking soda so that things move down the bag and takes away the smell. Good Luck and Congrats!
AS IF!!! Rollin’ with the Homies 😂. PHAT! Great video as always. And I want to see holiday decor in the camper too! 😊
You two are like kids in a candy store, so giddy happy! So cute!
Put a piece of stainless steal next to the stove to deflect the heat. And it looks fancy to🎉. Great new rig. I’m jelly
Love it!!! Can't wait to see ya'll and the new rig in person eventually xoxo
You guys are so fun! I love your excitement. Congrats on your new home.
What about a stainless steel plate for a backsplash?
Yes chef cooking in front of you, awesome 👌..yummy 🍕pizza
Suggestion: Get yourself a Rubbermaid Home 2951 Rectangle Dish Pan and put that in one side of your sink. You can fill that up with the dish water and use the other side of the sink as the rinse area.
I also remove the whole smoke detector when I'm cooking and place it on the bed so I don't forget to put it back where it belongs before bed. SAFETY FIRST!!!!
Great episode, pizza looked really good.
Kelly you and Cody are so cute, and down to earth. I am so happy for both of you. Enjoy your new camper. Love watching your adventures. Stay safe, I would definitely put something fire resistant on the wall next to that burner.
I am happy for you in taking on another lifestyle change it looks like a lot of fun.
Yall be loving that camper top much. Like a kid a Christmas time
I’m so happy for you guys.
Smoke alarm went off! 🤣🤣 Welcome to campering! Happens every time I cook in our camper!
Congratulations! Get a king size throw to toss over the top of the bedding when cooking. That throw may absorb most of the smell. Remove it when you are ready to go to bed.
I’m glad you have a camper. My parents had a truck camper when I was young and we enjoyed so much.
I love you guy so much! It litterally brings tears to my eyes. I can't wait, my husband and I just purchased a camper. You guys are great! Thank you!
Also ... That wall behind Kelly by the table would be a good place to hang some sort of seasonal decoration?
Pinterest has some interesting ideas
I remember when we went out on our first trip in our newly acquired truck camper.........great memories. Enjoy your new camper.
Presto chango, camp is set up....just like that! Woohoo! It's already cold here in Arkansas ya'll. 39 this morning, 29 forecast for Tuesday! Woohoo!
Your excitement is infectious you guys😊 it might be a laminate.
Happy for you kids everything you need in a nice space enjoy. Stay safe and enjoy your life
When I cook in my truck camper I turn on the Fantastic Fan to draw out the smells. Then I light a candle to give off a nice fragrance.
I'm happy for you with your new home! As a person who used to have an RV, who sold it because of rodents, allow me to suggest peppermint and Irish Spring soap to put under and in your RV. They don't like the smell.
My wife's favorite movie - Toe Pick ! 😊(That's 'The Cutting Edge' for those who don't know).
I Love. Very Cozy will keep you cool, warm, and dry right.

You might want to invest in a Froli sleep system for under your mattress to stop mildew from forming. When it gets cooler at night you will get condensation build up on walls, windows and under your mattress. The Froli system allows air flow to dry it out.
Little over 3 hours!! Can’t wait to see how it went!
Dawn power wash - excellent low water RV cleaner - wipe out excess foods, spray, set for just a min (for those stuck on items) everything wipes right out.
I'm really impressed with the electronics in your new home.
Loved watching your excitement over your new digz!! So happy for both of you!
Nice wide angle lens. I'm a retired Navy Photographer and so many of these videos are done with a 50mm lens which doesn't cut it in a camper.
