Sadly no, he's flying to HI tomorrow am to spend a couple months with his brother. Hopefully we can get some more video updates from him to edit in or share more Caleb when we're in CA for a wedding this summer.
Absolutely!!! And my favorite family on a boat is sailing Zatara, they just became empty nesters also, so I’m looking forward to what they will be up to !!!
Caleb, Charlie, Manatees, good food, friends, a good paddle. What else could you ask for. Sweet. Thanks for sharing. All the best to you Caleb! We miss ya around here.
Love every part of these videos! MARK you gotta start showing the all the finished products of the meals! Watching that tuna get cooked we were so excited to see the finished product!! lol
By a LONG shot best in class content, videography, music, information, family dymanic......just the best. We always look forward to your next adventure. All the kids are fun, Caleb is special, love that kid.
It’s been a while since we have watched one of your videos, y’all were our go to during and immediately post pandemic. The content was always good but the “cinematography” if that’s what it is called is super professional now. Great job
What FUN! It's the most diverse (and apropos to situation) soundtrack in UA-cam land and excellent editing skills that keeps me coming back for more! For sure, the brightest moment of my day today and very much needed. Thank you for that!🙂
Our son lives on the Santa Fe River between Ginnie Springs and itchitucknee, so we are very familiar with this area. It is very cool and mostly undiscovered as Florida places go. We love to visit there.
another great camp is Silver Springs in Ocala FL. The Silver River is awesome. There are hiking trails and several miles of clear water to paddle... I live within 5 miles of the park and go at least twice a week.
I took my kids and their friends to Itchetucknee every summer. SO much fun. You must visit the Santa Fe River! So many Florida springs feed the Santa Fe. It is wider and sincerely a treat. I make my family take me on my birthday every April❤
Great tip on the check for nails and stuff. I was getting ready to leave camp a few weeks ago and realized that one of our trailer tires was as flat as (insert your choice of expletive here). Changed the tire and then inspected and sure enough a nice big screw right through the middle of the tread. Thought back and realized that shortly before arriving at camp I pulled into a fuel station as it looked convenient for a fill even with trailer in tow, only to discover once in the lot that it was permanently closed. ie kind of an abandoned parking lot. Three guesses where I picked up the screw, and the first two don't count. :) Ironic too, as I thought of just that as I was leaving that lot. Thankfully no blowout, and it just must have slowly lost air over our three days at that camp spot. Not much I could have done about it, other than notice it was abandoned before I pulled in I guess. But your tip is good to beware of anywhere that may provide such little tidbits of fun.... As always safe travels.
You guys had a great day to float. I live 15 miles from the South Entrance of the Ich. I've passed Moonshine Acres on my way to Suwannee River Rendevous in Mayo many times. Thanks for getting me rving four years ago now. I'm so happy you've been able to see MY Florida!
Ichetucknee is the best spring in Florida. We've been doing it for decades. We tubed it as kids. Now, we definitely prefer our kayaks or canoe. Thanks for sharing! Great meals, BTW!
Hey Mark, As a precaution when unhooking from the truck overnight. Disconnect the chains too. that way, if you happen to forget in the a.m., you won't drag the camper on the chains. Ask me how I know!!!
Ronnie, you are such a phenomenal person for what you do with the Airstreams. I wished that I had a fourth of a brain compared to yours. Great job on what you do.
While going through Nebraska head to the Heart of the Sandhills , Valentine, Ne. It’s the town where everyone has a big heart. Also take a different river ride down the Niobrara river. Also you can set up camp at a many places along the river. Praying for fun, relaxing, and safe travels.
@Keep Your Daydream if you cam get your hands on a #10 can or a couple of large cans. Peek the labels off then stomp on them. You can put them on the grill. The metal with an air gap in etween will help moderate the heat on a hot grill. It also works on a stove when using gas and a really thin pot. It's basically a heat diffuser.
Love you guys. Just a little tip for Trish. Turn your kayak paddle around. The smaller half of the blade always goes down. It will cause less fatigue and generate more power.
That trip north, then out west should be epic! Taking the SS Badger across Lake Michigan is going to be a super cool experience. When you’re north of Chicago, if you want to get Trish on the back of a tandem, and ride together, we could make that happen. It’s amazing riding with the better half and being together the whole time.
Look forward to your video every week!! Thank you! Caleb you make me laugh out loud!! Trish you inspire me to be a better cook!! Mark you make me more RV knowledgeable!! Y’all ROCK!! I received my Summer to remember shirts!! We will be heading to South Dakota… maybe we will see you on the road!!! Safe travels!!
I Love Greek night! I make a sauce with lemon, butter, garlic, vinegar, olive oil & feta... TO DIE FOR... goes on the chicken & french fries... *Drools*
At the head of the spring Is the “Blue Jughole” when I was 15 I went on a scuba diving trip there and we floated the river in scuba gear, under water, it was amazing. Thanks for the video., it was so great seeing Caleb, I have missed his wit!
If y’all going through Chattanooga Tn area part of I24 and on up to Nashville, I highly recommend coming through I’d say at least after 8pm. I75/I24 split is horrible and doesn’t really get any better until you get above the ridge cut. Traffic starts to back up south of Bass Pro about a mile south of the I75/I24 interchange. Someone decided to shorten the width of the lanes they left open, while they work on widening the interstate and closed some other lanes to do so and they are replacing every bridge over I24 at the same time in our area and building new off ramps in a couple spots. I’m not even sure getting on Hwy 27 somewhere south of Chattanooga and just going straight through downtown and get on I24 that way would be any better. Anyways, hope y’all make it through our messed up road system.
Great video. Love watching your videos every week. This week hit home. Nice to see that you shop at Publix. I retired from there fours years ago after being with the company for thirty years. Great video and making traveling and camping a pleasure. I know a pune on words. lol
Meeting up with friends is so much fun to look forward to! We have enjoyed the variety of grocery store options. I think we have all the savings cards on my key chain from ALL the different stores. Several flamingo sightings in this one. 😄 What a beautiful Kayaking spot. The water was so clear! It fits! We love our Black Stone. Fun to see Caleb 😍-Michelle
Safe travels on your route back west with all the crazy weather happening now. Great video. Wish we could afford to RV in an Airstream (parents had 1.)
Caleb! So glad he had a good freshman year! Love that he was so eager to see you he couldn't sleep and just got on the road to be with you guys. What a sweet kid! But remind him sleep is good for him :). Safe travels to y'all. Ps you should have a meetup in Colorado!
aaahhhhhhh! A classic KYD...albeit just two of you though. This went extremely well with my bourbon and club soda. This made my night after a long RV travel day. So I say thank you for yet another awesome video by KYD!!!
As soon as I saw the big house in the pecan grove, I knew where you were! Then I saw the cracker barrel that looked familiar and then the map showed westover rd., I knew y'all were in Albany. My home town. I have not lived there for a while, but do try to show up on occasion. Ray Charles, Ray Stevens, Radium Springs. Jimmy Carter and his home in Plains close by, etc.
You guys are hilarious. I live in St Aug. There is so much wildlife along and in the water. I had a big fat FL water snake from an overhanging tree dropping into my kayak on one trip! I have the 17" Blackstone and really like it. I retired last Friday and have to get the house and Airstream ready!
Ichetucknee is one of our favorite places! We love the Ichetucknee Springs Campground-they have farm animals, including a pig that comes and visits the campsites ❤ I think we must have passed y’all when we were heading north!
Love the float trip it looked so relaxing. Glad to see Caleb and listen to his humor. I hope we get to see more of him this summer. Do yall still have your bungalow in Florida?
check out the Country Smokers traveler pellet grill. we take it camping with us and use it at home. I also got tired of dealing with charcoal and this pellet smoker works great! You can grill and smoke with it. You can catch it on sale for about $180.
Happy Sunday, Trish. I’ve been watching your channel since the very beginning. I hope you guys have a great holiday. My wife and I are headed up to the Eastern Sierras for the month of June. Hope to see you one day on the road.
I have missed that kid! Please tell us we will see him during your time in Florida! He is such a hoot and a charmer!
Sadly no, he's flying to HI tomorrow am to spend a couple months with his brother. Hopefully we can get some more video updates from him to edit in or share more Caleb when we're in CA for a wedding this summer.
But we have Charlie. He was very entertaining with his squeaking last video LOL

Love Caleb SO much!!! 😄❤ He is one of the most entertaining people I don't know 😂. Love you too, Mark and Trish! ☺️

Oh my word, the paddling experience was FABULOUS!
Oh my gosh, Caleb just makes this episode perfect. Missed him! He reminds me so much of my own son, always can make you smile and laugh!
Love every part of these videos! MARK you gotta start showing the all the finished products of the meals! Watching that tuna get cooked we were so excited to see the finished product!! lol

Best part of this video is Caleb! I love him! Great to see him! He has gotten taller. Such a great kid!
It’s been a while since we have watched one of your videos, y’all were our go to during and immediately post pandemic. The content was always good but the “cinematography” if that’s what it is called is super professional now. Great job
The way Caleb made me smile and his intro back into the channel was perfection :)
I spent 2 years during Covid camphosting at Ichetucknee Springs Campground. Beautiful!
Love the "turtle train" shot. You do an amazing job filming! 🐢
Love seeing Caleb. He is so funny. Miss him.
What FUN! It's the most diverse (and apropos to situation) soundtrack in UA-cam land and excellent editing skills that keeps me coming back for more! For sure, the brightest moment of my day today and very much needed. Thank you for that!🙂
Oh Caleb! You are one in a million. Never lose that spirit. It’s special. ❤️ Another great vlog.
I truly appreciate the music. It relaxes me.
Happy 25th Anniversary y'all!!

OMG! I absolutely love seeing Caleb again! The laughing I did in the last few minutes of this video!! Made my day!
Happy Sunday everyone
I'm in charge of Greek night
Is there Windex in there? 😂😂
Great reference
My Greek husband calls it "Greek Juice".
I learned that it solved everything. I will now refer to it as Greek juice.😄

The suspension lift on the trailer made a good difference

With a charcoal grill load half one side save the other side for indirect/slow cooking.

Always a great time! Thanks for the video! It’s not quite that warm just yet in the NW, can’t wait to be warm on the water soon!

If you want to see a touch of "Old Florida" stop at the Old Bulow Plantation Ruins near Flagler Beach. It is worth seeing, if you haven't already.
A beautiful life.
