Thank you so much for that tutorial, your presentation made it easy to follow and complete, thank you young lady! I did get unlucky and got one that flickers when you try and dim the light so no dimming for me
6:31 The receiver is shown upside down, at least according to paper instructions. I had to insert it opposite to what is shown here. Otherwise, a great fan so far. Low setting is fairly quiet, high is very noisy but effective.
I have tried installing two of these fans, tried both fans with the dimmer switch included and the other fans dimmer switch, but no matter what I do when the light is on the dimmer receiver makes a noise. In addition when I try to dim the lights they blink. HELP!!!
I purchased this exact fan from someone thru Facebook marketplace. Unfortunately the mounting bracket was missing I purchased one from Home Depot only to realize it not going to work. Where can I order the original mounting bracket for this model?
Yup, when this fan was put in my kitchen we did not realize that it was on the same frequency as my ceiling fan in my bedroom. We laughed until we cried for a day then had to fix that issue. Also putting the control box inside and trying to fit all that in the whole was not easy.
SAME- We now have THREE remote fans and EACH remote controls ALL of them. 2 of them are wired at least to a switch so it's a game of "chess" every time we want to adjust each, 2 of, all, etc of the fans- What a pain, hahaha. I'll get my steps in THAT'S for sure. I miss the old style fans where you just PULL A CORD :P All of this technology sometimes does more harm than GOOD.
Anyone find that the medium setting will randomly vibrate during operation? Light dimmer was not a good option, so I wired the light directly. Fan wired on the other switch. FYI . Works great for those who sleep with a fan for noise
I do not have any other frequency remotes or anything close being used and my light randomly comes on when running the fan to include the middle of the night. Sometimes I turn it off 3 times before it stays off. Started happening after about 7 months. Why? How can I fix this?
Thank you for the video it really helped. I had to look at it multiple times to put our fan up. Thank you again.
This was so much less confusing than other videos I watched on the same topic.
Receiver is shown upside down, but when you could fit everything in, just be proud and congratulante yourself!

How do I know if my ceiling joist will support the weight of this ceiling fan? Also, how much weight can a typical ceiling joist hold?

The receiver was placed in wrong according to the oral instructions.
This was very helpful, thank you !!!!
The pivot ball should be flush with the top of the downrod @3:57

Would I be able to shorten the down rod and just drill new holes for the pin and ground screw? I have 8ft ceilings and I think it will hang to low??
Tucking all of that and the box is crazy hard.

How can I wire this to use the wall switches, there is one for fan and one for power. I do not want to have to rely on the remote for everything.

With remote
Push the picture of the light on the remote
The vocal fry of the narrator is killing me!
No more worrying about people getting hurt by ceiling fans.
