Bungie just announced that Ritual Bounties (Vanguard, Crucible and Gambit) will be abandoned when The Final Shape launches. DO NOT SAVE THESE. Instead fill up on Gunsmith and destination vendor's bounties.

i dont understand why people werent stacking only the weekly bounties up until now. from petra, variks, starhorse, shaw han, Nimbus. etc they specifically say they reward xp++ its like 12k per. why would u even wanna stack any other bounty till the very last week as just filler.

The limit of my preparation is still trying to get not garbage rolls from onslaught guns. So far i think ive done maybe 10 w50 runs with some extra in there, and I dont have a single good shiny yet, or rather very few in general...

Facts. Food and rest, will do you better than grinding bounties just to be a few levels higher than most of the playerbase.

Regarding the rocket sidearm: Bungo confirmed we're getting two more in Final Shape, a strand one & a solar one. There is a very decent chance at least one of those will be craftable which will immediately make it the better version. So don't freak out if you can't farm Warlord's for the arc one.

@@chall7927 Solar's got so many better heavy options that for surge & siphon efficiency the solar one is gonna be better. And anyway, I never said it wasn't good I was just pointing out that if you're not able to farm it then it's not something you should be losing sleep over.

They should give out raid and dungeon exotics for flawless and solo flawless runs respectively.
I don't do raids much but I do a lot of dungeons and do them solo and have not got one single exotic from either.

18:46 I just want it to be clear for folks: the shiny variants are only more customizable. If you have a PvE god roll and a PvP god roll for lunas howl but they’re both non shiny that’s equal to having one shiny god roll minus the paint job.
I’m fairy new to the game I used a site to see the rolls I have on weapons in my account and found out one of the non shiny weapons is S tier and I was like but its not shiny 💀 ngl this is good to know
Can't shader the shiny anyway. There are some gorgeous shader combos on those weapons

Cross, just wanted to say thanks for doing these videos. I started playing d2 day one back in 7th grade and have just finished my first year of college. There was a time when I was, to put it simply, a d2 gamer who no-lifed raid race prep without a second thought, but I can’t do that kind of stuff anymore, so watching these videos really helps keep me up to date on what I need to do. You’re doing the Lord’s work!!
If you want to farm ascendant shards and enchanted prism you should do the coil...(A good run for me (almost 28 minutes) gives me like almost 10 prisms and atleast 1 ascendant shards)
onslaught and coil best for mat farming

another tip for empire hunts. speed through the hero version with eager edge and strand for the boss kill and then load up a master version with something like wish ender. you only need 10 precision kills in master to complete the bounty

The faster velocity with +20 reload makes it so efficient to bop a red bar, reload, then shot heavier enemy.
As a destiny noob watching your videos made me wiser....and all the information you've given is very helpful for a beginner like me
Yeah, I'm part of the "or don't I guess".. no need to, other than the people attempting the world first raid. Everyone else should just take their time and enjoy it, you won't run out of content in a week, like most people.
They’re not trying to run out of content, it’s just to unlock artifact mods.

It's the same as any season/expansion; if you're playing anyway, may as well do some prep so you can access the artifact asap. Maxing out the season pass as fast as possible shouldn't be overlooked either, since starting with Episode 1 we get more ranks and thus more materials. However, if you're trying to avoid burnout, this is all completely optional.

There’s really no point in doing so unless you’re gonna participate in contest mode raid. Farming for the perfect shiny god roll brave weapons is on my priority list rn
for someone who tried destiny 2 a year ago and then just finished light fall, this helps. im working on a halo build for my titan but i mainly use sorcerer. i just got the The other half sword for the Half truth sword! thing is super rare from what i understand! thank you for the helpful info too! been grinding and this helps!
Nice man, I came back towards the end of season of the witch and I've been loving it. Go for the red borders of the other half and half truths next. Then you can enhance the eager edge perk.

@@JBLINK7 That's exactly what it is. If you remember the "Sword Flying" glitch from Halo 2, that is what Eager Edge does. As soon as you pull out the sword, it gives you the ability to lunge insane distances with a light attack.

I am bounty prepping for the first time since season of arrivals. However only for artefact levels + perks. Not going for day 1 raid but still want that little bonus on day 1
I just got the past seasonal exotics even tho I didn't play in some of them so thanks!

I have been prepping already, personally RNG has been good to me for brave weapons. Now I just need to fnish bounty prep. This is my first and only time actually taking off work to enjoy the new expansion AND they decided to drop the raid the same weekend? I can't wait!

For the phantasmal frags I hit 999 and then it started a new stack so as long as you have inventory space you can hold as many as you want

just the Destiny Recipes site made this video worth it lol. Never knew about it and ha da full vault. I was slowly clearing it out, but man this made it super easy.
I was using nechro the other day and found pre buff its pretty good already so cant wait for it be even better
2 weapons I will meantion to consider getting for the day 1 raid are izanagi’s burden and outbreak perfected. Izzy is great for rocket/gl swapping during a dmg phase. Outbreak is a nice weapon to swap to when you have no ammo left in a dmg phase especially when other players do the same.

That fallen dropship is cool. Wish they made a hive and cabal dropship we can use.

Coil - plat runs are about the same time as an onslaught run to wave 50 (with generic lfgs), but they're much easier in comparison and have better ascendant shards / minute of gameplay.

Regarding Altar, there is a bounty where you need to kill nightmares in lost sectors and doing altars has been counting towards that for me
So excited for new expansion. Havent played in a while catching up now. Dont know if I should use my triple stat warlock build or my quad 100 stat warlock build. I love this

For those of you that want to overlap the empire hunt and lost sector bounties just grab that specific hunt quest from variks instead. You dont need to load into the hunt itself.
Are Eris' weekly bounties worth doing? Visually they don't reward xp & only items but I've heard they do award 2xp but it just doesn't show it on rewards

@@brunoutechkaheeros1182I stopped taking it seriously after year 1 d2, after the campaign, stopped caring so much, made me feel way better. Only played when the game was popping, much nicer. Less frustrating too because if you do take it seriously you’ll get so mad at stuff not working or bugs like melee registration and so on.
You can get a chrome version for pass pass. Just find the link where the creator linked both versions.

For those of you (Including myself) hoping to get the Epialos Ornament Set, you would have had to complete the season pass to get the rewards. Silver Lining however you can claim the Exotic Weapons from those seasons. Thanks for these tips Cross!!
So for the older seasons is there a way to level them up or is it just for claiming things you missed?
How do you get the shiny versions? I've been doing legend 50 5 times a day for the last 4 days and haven't seen a shiny from onslaught in 6 days
999 in a stack of phantasmal fragments, can do multiple stacks, can put in vault, just like enhancement cores
Past season pass 100% works on chrome I use it all the time, although certain past seasons no longer work
Haven't touched a lost sector in probably months now, and I've never been happier from them
I was progressing nicely after skipping the whole Lightfall year but after seeing this I still have a long way to go lol.
Still don't like how extremely easy it is getting so many exotics. I really hope The Final Shape brings some powerful hard to get exotics like Necrochasm and the new Nightmares shotgun

For those wondering. Phantasmal Fragments go to 999 a stack. Source: I have 2 stacks of 999 and one stack of 742.
So if I understood correctly. I hoard and complete the XP++ bounties and claim them upon the release of FS? Won't get they get voided?
Im only rank 4 for the into the light vendor. I only have time to play next friday to monday. Is it possible to max out the vendor for the shader ? Or will i miss it since i cant get back on till after final shape launches ?
Grab all the bounties from shaxx and arcite and get to grinding u should be fine
Unless it's double NF rewards I'll be running coil religiously. You get so many cores, a fair amount of prisms, any where between 1 to 3 ascendant shards and tons of alloy. I also feel coil can be more reliably farmed sometimes GMs go south but coil you have ample revives, I don't think I've ever not gotten a platinum score
It 100% works on chrome. Just change the browser into dev mode. And load the extension after you unzipped it. I thought it was broke because I could only go back to season of the risen.
But this is the season pass API works differently.
I used to be able to access my stuff all the way back to the very first season of the arrivals .

If you run a master lost sector, and your inventory slot is full the engram will be sent to the postmaster, if you then grab that engram, it will decode into whatever is in rotation for that day (not based on the lost sector you ran) considering lost sectors will be changing to drop normal engrams in final shape, you might be able to stock up on lost sector engrams which will then turn into normal exotic engrams after the update, allowing you to use them for Rahools rep and maybe getting class items.
hopefully we can transmog the class item, idk how I feel about that hunter cape, and obviously its probably the only option for prismatic so no way everybody is going to look the same

Do you think we will get the artifact before the raid? I'm suspecting we won't get the seasonal (episode) content until after the campaign or possibly and more to the point the raid.
Definetly the artifact should be available on release day. Gotta have those anti champ mods ready for the campaign

Just before I watched the TWAB… I burned almost all my exotics because I was sick of them always being full. Needless to say I was kicking myself a bit. Should be stacked back up though by then.

Ive been farming warlords ruin since the start of the season and I havent got a single lead from gold rocket sidearm or the exotic to drop...
Cross what if artifact will not be available on day one but next week reset when season will start? Because they already says that first echo will start in week 2... So why we assume we will have artifact day one
Aren't Hawthorne bounties getting removed and/or changed with FS and the new reward track? Destiny 2 Recipe checklist doesn't have them listed.
I'm thinking blast furnace with firefly kinetic tremors, blinding GL and dragons breath for day 1.

How to get a second or 3rd shiny brave weapon? My first is a very bad roll. Cant figure out how to get another. All the drops are non-shiny now.

Question guys. Let's say I want to maximize experience obtained after I dunked all my bounties after final shape releases, what should I do to grind my last few artifact points?
I would also recommend for new and returning players to make sure they get Ghorn and the catalyst. I’m a returning player who already has Ghorn and I can still fit on a lot of teams despite not having the most peak meta weapons because I make my entire team stronger by enhancing their god roll rocket launchers.

Can confirm that you in fact can hold 999 phantasmal fragments. If you have all the important mats stacked up or are bored, you can go to the moon an do catalyst kills at the Altars of Sorrow if you need to finish any of those. Simultaneously you’ll get a bunch of phantasmal fragments. Its obvi not the most efficient but its fun 🤷🏼♀️.
I have 2,7k fragments till Finalshape drops I will have 3k for sure

It will cost 600,000, glimmer plus two ascendant shards for each at getting these new exotics will be very expensive highly recommend saving as much glimmer as possible and only turn in the exotics on the class you are “not” trying to get the class item on first
