For sure! Swap a clutch out, no biggie... reset valves on a 4 stroke, cool... new top end, getting harder.... Split the cases and fully disassemble... pray for me! But It worked out and I did it! The proof will be when it's in the machine I give it those first few kicks!!
Ha! That's funny. I wish! Probably from start to finish... if I didn't have to run out to my shop 6 times for this and that... if I were just assembling... It probably took me 4 or 5 hours. I'm sure I could do it in half that now... but by the time I'll do another, I'll have forgotten everything again!
Thanks brother! Yes, she really is. We were discussing finishing the build in the house! Well, I brought it up... not sure if "we" were discussing it... lol
Awesome engine assembly! Very nice. You have a beautiful kitchen! You're Wife is Awesome for letting you do this, that's true love. My first ATV engine rebuild was an '85 250 BR, splitting the case, and replacing the crank rod assembly. There's a little more to it over the 250R, but I think you can do it now that you've got you're feet wet. Trust me, I was a little intimidated myself , especially when pressing the counter weight halves off the crank pin to be replaced, but I did it and it runs nice and smooth. Great videos as always!👍
Good job Preston! . These little 2-stroke motors are super simple I knew you could do it 😀. I did my engine assembly in my kitchen as well of course with a gray towel haha 🤘
Thank you very much man! I'm hoping I did it all correctly! I don't feel there was anything I did wrong, but the proof will be what happens on that first start up!
Awesome video My Dude! Hopefully one day i will have one of these machines. And when i do i will know how to rebuild the motor 😊 Truly lucky to have an understanding family 😅. Looking forward to the next video!
Nice work, I enjoy these videos….. Did you forget the clutch lifter and ball? Part# 22352-KA4-000. #s 10+28 on parts diagram. I saw you skipped it on 1st time assembling clutch 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
I totally did at first. I caught it pretty quick because I was confirming the throw of the actuator arm was good and I was like what the... oh... doh! I think I wasn't recording when I caught that... but it was all in there when I had to then fully pull it apart again to fix the starter gear issue.
I just subscribed to your channel. I own a small business called Autopsy Vintage that i do in my spare time:). I focus mainly on 2t mx bikes for the past 18 years. I have become fairly fascinated with the 350x. I have been trying to source a decent machine to restore and have been leas than satisfied with what is popping up for sale:(. You seem as intuitive as myself with details and maybe at some point you could point me in the right direction to find a suitable unit to give the ol labor of love. Thanks for the great channel and keep up the good content!!
I help run a Facebook group called Honda Hoarders. Once a year we would do merch to raise money that we spend on buying Hondas for kids. We haven't done a merch run in a while though.
Other than eating when hungry, I can't think of a better use for the kitchen table.. lol.. 👍👍👍
Right?!?! Nice flat, open surface! It was great. I hope to do more in there!
Thats got to be a comfort zone situation, glad you got pass that and kicked it's butt!

Impressive!! First time building a motor from scratch and you did it in 37 minutes! 😂

That's a awesome puzzle!! I put things together in my house to when it's cold outside.
I floated the idea by my wife of finishing the whole build in the house! I'm not sure I got an answer...
I just edit out my mistakes when I have to back up and put things back together again the right way. I do a lot of editing....a lot of editing 😁
I followed the same three videos last year when I built my 86 motor. Thanks for the great videos of your collection!
Anytime man! Thanks for watching! We're you in the chat on Matt's live last night?
I was not but I’m checking it out now. Sorry I missed it.
@@NYRAPTOR6 someone else with Raptor in their name was. I wasn't sure if that was you.
3d puzzle indeed! Your wife is totally awesome for letting you do that in the kitchen, great video bud.
Thanks brother! Yes, she really is. We were discussing finishing the build in the house! Well, I brought it up... not sure if "we" were discussing it... lol
Can't wait for the video where you start it up and ride a wheelie thru the house.
You and me both! I almost have to, right?

Dave Moores a great guy. He sponsors a couple of us TX4 racers and hung out with us cheering Peanut on at the last race.
Team DMR! 👌
You can just tell he's a super cool dude from the videos. I bet he's a blast to hang out with.
Nice work! That engine stand is slick.
Thanks brother!! Very much appreciated!
It must be the grey towel I’ve been missing on all my unfinished projects. I’ll have to try that!
I personally think there's a lot to be said for them... especially now that I've started to use them!
So clean!
Thanks brother!
I like this puzzle

Mike is the man you to should do a collaboration.
I did two videos over at his shop and home shop about a year ago. They were super cool to record. What type of collaboration are you thinking of?
We expect a 250r wheelie in the kitchen... so It comes full circle

Looking for a good black paint
