My FAVORITE part is the official/original first start with your Dad -"In front of God and everybody" overlayed with the new first start. And what a GORGEOUS ATC250R! Love the Maier white/carbon fiber style fenders and just the whole look of this mean machine. And these new Serwa Tires are just awesome, and let's not forget the oem recreation parts and handlebars from Mr. Palmgren. And Blueline Graphics! And many more i know...wow we have a lot of guys making great products to restore our machines. What a project sir.
Yes sir! I had to write down all the parts that came from various places to make sure I remembered everyone because there's just so much! And I'm so thankful that I have that video of my dad... I definitely watched that part more than a few times while editing...
Awesome result, Preston. { apologies if I got your name wrong ). Watching this video of yours has got me adding parts to my wish list. Don't tell the missus, please! Keep well.
Thank you!! Watching the early videos made me realize how far my videos have come. And I realize how bad of an idea it was to put music in the background of all of them... just hard to concentrate. Anyway, I appreciate you watching!
I absolutely loved watching this and what was amazing was seeing the video of you Back then and now starting up the ole 250r absolutely awesome and I bet some great memories made
I wish I started fixing my Big Red 3 years ago, I bet I would have been done by now also. Great videos as well, I want to try one of them 250Rs never drove one they look like they are a hoot to ride... awesome video
Thank you very much brother!! My 88 Big Red is next in line. That's only been apart a year and a half now... If you start your project now you'll probably still beat me!
@@cainbeeping8480 I know you have, but there's a good chance many people may have not caught the early videos. Just wanted a start to finish video for this machine since it took so long to complete.
@@ThisOldTrike duh.. I meant bruiser. I've caught that everytime you've shown that clip. He'd be proud of where you've taken your love for Honda ATC's I'm sure!
Hey, man. Greg from South Africa. If you're thinking of offloading the white rear plastic and frt fender, I will be there this time next year, as I mentioned previously, and am interested in buying them. Let me know what you decide, no pressure. Cheers, bud.
Hi Greg. I think I'm going to hang on to them for the nostalgia that have (for me). But, if you're interested in white fenders, there is currently a custom color order going on for Maier fenders. My friend is running it on Honda Hoarders (facebook group). Let me know if you need more information.
@@josephhamilton5185 No sir. If any were actually built (which they probably were), they never made it into the hands of the public. One has never been found.
Love myself a good 85 atc250r story.
It's a love story...

I like the old footage mixed with new…good job! I hope to get to my 86 in the next couple years..
Great video to see it all together in one sitting! Even just three years ago seems so far away when looking back…Eh??!!😂
Again, awesome build!
Yes sir! Putting the dates over the different segments had me cringing a bit thinking about how long it literally just sat, not being touched...

That's an awesome build, very unique look. Gives me more encouragement to speed up the build on my '86 350X. 👍
I'm digging the trike as well but your trike table is a cool design
Thank you very much!! I'm thinking of building a 2nd one this winter. Trying to talk myself into it.
Great job! I like that you did it how you had it in high school but with more experience and money to invest lol
Thanks brother! Yeah, I'm super pleased with it and I think 18 year old me would be out of his mind! lol

Fine job on it bud! It’s all downhill from here. A few tweaks and I bet you wind up riding that more than you think. 👍 💨

Thanks brother!! I'm pretty pumped by how nice it came out.
In a “perfect world” the rear fender GRAPHICS would MATCH THE SEAT and tie into FORK BOOtS but ALL IN ALL nice 👍
Having seen this trike it person it's an AWESOME build! Enjoyed how you put the whole story together. Been meaning to ask, was your nickname "Buster"?

Have a question, I ordered a set of skid plates for my 350x from SwampOutlaws, do you know what their turnaround time is from the order date?

Thank you!!
