Three extra things: Phase 3, the tank with the raid-damage needs to go under to avoid damaging the raid. The rocks DO cause damage, but only at the end of the wind phase, so selectively destroying the rock pillars is important. And finally, and perhaps obviously, the black pools around the rocks do cause damage and give you stacks (to send you under) but hurt more than it's worth.
i like your raid guides. it was simple and I like how you pointed out some of the key features of the fights. I watched them before the heroic raid. It was my first time in a 10.1 raid (only been doing LFR). I found it quite easy. I understood the mechanics and was able to last through the fights thanks to your videos.
Attention to where the boss is turned too after the hide phase, if a lot of melee charge in while the tank is taunting they will most likely get hit by the frontal and that is a wipe
Actually you should all just jump in the last disintegrate before the second surge and pop a few healing cds + defensives. Ends up being far less healing required and you don't need the cooldowns for P2. If you clear early, you're dealing with a ticking dot for a non-insignificant amount of time. So its best to use the last (3rd I think) blue which is right before the second surge.
@@ericwolf9664 MD only hits 5 targets, for mythic guilds its no problem since they're usually running 2 holy and 1 or 2 shadow for sark But for everyone else priests are one of the rarest class in the game (the second guild I raid with is an AOTC casual guild and we've only just had our first priest in 3 years - consistently having 15-20 people since SL start)
Yep, I watched this video 5 times and then went to raid died in the second phase because there were no blue arrows and I couldn't catch a breath to dispel myself, but I got carried and got the achiev!
Another tip: if you ever get hit by the phase 3 frontal tank mechanic you can treat it like another bomb, just like the tank, you gotta take 2 swirlies and go to the down phase until the tank mechanic expires
Great Video. Our group has a hard time killing the adds in 3rd phase. seems they dont take damage and just get healed. I assume kill fast and quickly. Any Tips?
wow Hazel's guild must be stacked with high dps, because the adds when i do don't die, and a fun fact is you can bring them to the circle void zones to remove the healing.
This boss feels so disproportionately difficult compared to every other boss in the raid, literally Sark is the only one my guild and I ever have issues with. So far we’ve only downed him once on normal the entire time he’s been live, I just don’t understand how we pushed through P3 the first time :/
But Hazel , Nermal is just a baby kitty , why would you want to do anything on her ? sorry just a bit of fun . i have a bottle baby kitten i named Nermal ( from garfield and friends cartoon from the 80's ) love your content !
These raid boss mechanics are ridiculous. Adding a dozen small "get out of this", "soak that", "run here", "pick up that" is just crappy design. I mean I'm phasing out here, halfway through this explanation... 3 to 5 mechanics maximum would be nice. Just make them count.
I think this is a good amount of mechanics for normal. It was challenging, but from the first couple of pulls I knew it was completely doable. I'd rather have a shorter fight like this, with many overlapping important mechanics than a longer one where the stuff doesn't overlap as much, too. Also, after 38 2/4/14 pulls, I cleared this with my first pull of that day, which was a 2/3/9 group. Less people and so less stuff in the 3rd phase made it a lot easier to manage. If you think 39 pug pulls for a normal kill is too many, well maybe you're not entirely wrong, but I don't think it's too excessive.
@@Pingviinimursu Most groups were overgearing normal, having 420 ilvl when going into patch and 4-set and ring. So not sure normal is any metric to go by.
Hopefully no one used this as a Heroic guide. P1 would wipe them. The ranged group should be at ranged stacked on a single person to bait bombs. They'll slowly make their way clockwise around the boss/melee, baiting the bombs as close as possible each time to the right to avoid using up the whole path. They should get at least 2 arrows on ranged players during this to clear the debuff. The debuff does damage when cleared on Heroic, so you'll want to split clearing it into odds/evens or some other arrangement. Ranged will run in after the last breath, in time for the 2nd Glittering Surge. Everyone can stack in a Spirit Link or AMZ, ect.
You’ve got some of the best guides on UA-cam. Precise, accurate and clearly articulated. Well done, good job.
So, it's a fight with many blue effects over a blue platform! Wonderful!!
IT FINALLY HAPPENED 🎉
Our guild got curve a few weeks ago, but I still just enjoy watching these guides.
Best guid I have found. Very clear video and explained very well thank you

the tank with raid-damage u mean void slash or something?
@@nonye0 Yeah, he has no idea what he's talking about lol

So helpful, thank you! Appreciate you pointing out the visuals zooming in and speaking at a calm, normal pace. Other guides are just overwhelming.
Indeed this are my favorite guides to watch, i was sad this was not up before but at last i truely understand the 3rd phase now
Grats on Sark! Thanks for the great bomb explanation!
that sure is a lot of mechanics
Honestly too much, hell even the Lich King had less tactics.
I’m late, but thank you for posting this. You’re videos helped me a bunch back in Legion :)
This fight was cool. Void/Old God mechanics involving black holes are always cool.
Thank you! this is the best one I have seen
Awesome! I really appreciate these! 😊

Thank you Hazel !
My guild just got him down this week, but anyway, i still enjoy this content, you have a very soothing voice.
You Are An Awesome Commentator, Thanks Chika.

Mass Dispel works quite nicely if you're stacked up like you should be. Now whether you have one is a different matter.

6:10 For some reason no other guide thought to mention that. I was standing directly behind them and still flying off every time.
Back rewatching this for the awakened raids thank you again lol

Perfect timing! My guild just started him on Normal. Thanks!
Same here! We got this 😊
Thanks for the guide!
Every other boss 3 mechanics.... Sarkareth "Hold my beer".
Just when you needed the guide, cant wait to kill this boss on normal
Another tip: if you ever get hit by the phase 3 frontal tank mechanic you can treat it like another bomb, just like the tank, you gotta take 2 swirlies and go to the down phase until the tank mechanic expires
I've done this fight & still don't understand it
Not only it is basically impossiible to beat him but i cant remember half of these tactics...
Perfect timing for me 😀 our guild just killed Echo on normal last week so tomorrow we will have our first attempts at Sarkareth 😆
Awesome, thx!!!
Thank you for this.
Finally I can Beat this boss
better late than never ♥
the LFR community thanks you!!!
hi I was wondering for the tank dot in p3 do you need the tanks to go down before the dot explodes or do we just mitigate the damage?
Tank has to go down
Tank has to go down otherwise it deals damage to entire raid.
Great Video. Our group has a hard time killing the adds in 3rd phase. seems they dont take damage and just get healed. I assume kill fast and quickly. Any Tips?
If you take void claws by mistake (and survive) treat it like you have a void bomb and go into the down phase.

So Many stuff goin on.Hope i can get it all someday wou.Its hard!
WHy the final boss guide came so late compared to others?
ngl seems like the hardest out of the 3 end of raid bosses
spent 3hrs here last night
The LFR community thanks you 😂😂

im getting too old for this shit
there’s really no reason bosses should have this many mechanics dude lol

🌅🧡💫😃😊🙌
how do u even get to him cuz i havent seen him yet
took your time right 🤣🤣
I'm kinda surprised this wasn't part of the last "saturday news" video just put in there for the last part.
This looks more annoying than fun
Agree way too much!
Thats that case with all the high mechanic bosses. None of them are fun, they're a chore that we're forced to do to gear.
@@s.armitage3963 I don't agree, Lich King was hard but fun.

this is a normal guide, there is nothing about heroic like the title suggests.
So basically Blizz should already remove all melee classes from the game
I hate this boss.
Phase 3 is the worst
