Not a gang member but I had two friends from Cali and Chicago who underestimated the gangs in New Mexico and got killed because of altercations. Sometimes stuff runs different in the new city you are in. I would never go to Burque and say that my hood is harder because that's underestimating and disrespecting. Some people move for a fresh start but end up back in the life that they were trying to avoid.

BTW I stayed in ABQ one day driving east from oregon and I had a great time downtown near the university.

Watching these mini documentaries are great and kind of inspiring in a way. They give me hope for some of my friends. I have a friend and she’s young, not even 16 yet and she’s headed down a dark path. I’m worried about her ‘cause she wants to try all these crazy drugs and she used to drink a lot to the point of blacking our. She’s been through so much and she’s lived with addicts her whole life which puts her at a greater risk of becoming one herself and she has an addictive personality, I want to help her but I don’t know how. Watching these videos gives me hope she’ll work things out and come out of everything just fine but I don’t want her to push things to a certain point. There are so many kids like her here in Bernalillo specifically, wish someone could knock some sense into them. Last day of school this year some of my friends decided to do acid, while at school

I watch every single one of these every single time then I watch them again, and again. My Wife too. We're both homeless in our car in San Diego after I had open heart surgery last year. I've passed through Albuquerque when I moved to San Diego from Houston, grew up in NY and left for Houston in 97. Had a heart attack on i-5 to LA from SD on 4/20/18. Showed up in the ER two days later and had heart surgery on 4/25. True life is what you put out 💯!
