Hello Sam. I am happy to hear you again. I didn't know what ASMR is, so I had to do some research and I realised I had several times experienced ASMR myself. I remember sitting in a philharmonic hall and watching a classical concert where a beautiful young harpist in a gorgeous silver dress played delicate music that captivated the audience. I also remember combing and styling my hair by some hairdressers. In all these situations I felt my scalp sort of tingled, prickled. It was so nice and relaxing, an out-of-body experience. So I am looking forward to hearing your soothing voice. I also recommended your channel to my friends. One of them suffers from insomnia, so perhaps it'll help her.
Thanks for helping with my channel 😍🤩😍🤩 it's funny how asmr is extremely popular and yet a loooot of people don't know about it. When I say that I do it, a lot of people think it's some weird sexual kink so I always have to clarify what it is that I actually do on UA-cam 😜 There are a lot of kinds of asmr, with sounds, lights, no sound... It's insane that something like this even exists but it's wonderful!
I remember trying to take notes in a meeting once...and finding the guest in the meeting had so mesmeric a voice it was acting like an anaesthetic...I could scarcely write! It was a very weird, but not unpleasant, sensation, and the nearest I think I've come to an ASMR reaction. I do very much enjoy ASMR videos though, they're very relaxing...and some creators' scripts are quite informative too.
Haha thanks! 😍🤩 Yes, I will be doing a video in drag soon-ish 😉 I just need to think of how because I don't like doing make-up or getting into drag so it will probably have to be after a show 🙊 I'll keep you posted!
The singing thing sounds a bit like me. First time I ssng in front of people was in church at Christmastime. I muffed one line of lyrics. I was mortified and decided I was never doing that again. And it was nine years before I sang in front of people again, and even then it was in a choral group... Now, though, I miss no opportunity to sing. Most of that is karaoke (I do not play anything, unfortunately). I've now entered the Karaoke World Championships three times, making Nationals last year. The venue I qualify in locally for KWC, Tracie's, is also the one I sing in most often; karaoke runs there every day. They also fairly regularly have drag shows. Sam would be a smash there...if you're ever in Hamilton, Canada, Sam, swing by Tracie's! 😁💖 Oh. And subbing...
@@stevetournay6103 First of all, sorry for my late reply, Steve, but I was on holiday. I'm really happy you got back into signing! And it's clearly going very well! Karaoke was an eye-opening experience for me. As a karaoke singer, it helped me come into my own and pushed me to turn singing into my job. And as a karaoke host (I host it every Thursday), it's really heart-warming for me to see how much karaoke means to people even if they don't want to turn it into a career. It's amazing to see how therapeutic it is for them, which seems to be the case for you, too 😍 Keep me posted on your competitions and thanks for the tip about Tracy's! 🤩🥳
Hi dear, just found your channel and subscribed. Can you share what tool you're using to read? Is there any teleprompter you use for this? Thanks in advance!
I'm disappointed... I hate whispering. I just subscribed thinking that his first video was going to be "soft spoken" like the name of his channel. Wrong!😶
@@sollym8814 Yes, sorry for my rookie mistake. As an ASMR user I don't mind or even pay attention to whether a video is soft spoken or whispered because it doesn't matter to me and I tend to see them as synonyms to mean 'not just sounds and triggers'. But given the amount of people who've mentioned this, I realise it does make a difference to others so I should be more precise and not use those terms as synonyms. Sorry about that. When my new video comes out on Thursdays, I'll also change the name of my channel and I'll explain more about that in the video. Sorry again and thanks for pointing it out 😊

Wonderful, so relaxing!!!!😊❤

I wouldn't be able to focus if I had such a handsome teacher. You should do some ASMR in your drag persona ^^
Haha thanks! 😍🤩

Hi Natasa! Thanks for subscribing. I am not reading in the video. It's all just a natural stream of consciousness (I like talking haha 😜)
Awesome!
Thanks!!!

but this is whispered?
Yes, I'll experiment with various approaches
@SoftSpokenASMRSam I think his point is that the video is titled soft spoken when it isn't.
