I love this sound, I love your setting up, I wish this view through window from my bedroom, I love to see snow fall , this perfect setting 🎉
When I was 17, I went on a ski trip with my friends down to the Victorian Alps. On the third day of our trip, a massive snowstorm overtook us. A few of my schoolmates and I managed to get stuck at the top of one of those mountains during the worst of it and we found ourselves holed up in a small "kiosk" of sorts that was situated at the very top of the ski lift.
This kiosk was a small, hexagonal shaped structure with glass walls around it and enough seating for a tiny village inside of those walls. We all sat drinking hot chocolate for two hours within that structure while we waited for the storm outside to subside. I have no shame in saying that those two hours were some of the most beautiful hours of my life.
My parents paid a small fortune for me to go on that trip and for a couple of hours, my friends and I 'squandered' that money sitting in a white oblivion and talking about nothing with each other. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

thanks! I live in a warm climate and love the idea of long, cold winter. These scenes are so beautiful but always have big windows-- of course, to show the scene outside. Our family had a cabin in the mountains with big windows that always let in the cold. We had a heater and fireplace, but still the chill from outside would penetrate the older glass. Yeah, maybe we needed a wood burning stove!@@Happystolic

This is my go to..
I watch a lot of these types of videos. Out of all of them, this is def up there as one of the best. Also, the cat is great! Its not like some others where is stands out so much it looks like it was edited in poorly. Thank you so much!
Also, this video is great for those after christmas moments alone in my room drawing. I want a winter themed video. Love this! My only advice would be maybe to make the snow be a little slower and smaller. So it is less of a snowstorm, but a light snowfall.

I love the sound of the wind (not too overbearing) and the fire. I love the ambiance of the A-frame and the magnificent windows, and the lighting effect is tremendous! The only negative is that the visual of the snowfall is rather crude compared to what I see in a lot of the ASMR videos.
Hey, thanks for your feedback. I assume you mean the low frames per second of the snow, i.e. that it jerks? I never noticed this on my computer for a long time, it's only recently since I've been playing my own videos on a new TV that I've noticed the problem too. I have therefore worked on the problem and the snow runs much more smoothly in my new videos.
Actually, I don't really notice any jerkiness. It's hard to describe, but it just doesn't seem as realistic as a lot of the ASMR videos that I see. One thing I can describe is that some of the snowflakes are too big - they look more like snowballs than snowflakes! Actually, just correcting that might do it. The bottom line, though, is that I do really like the video!
I'll have to take a look at how others do it. So far I thought I'd found the right size of snowflakes 😅 But maybe I really should make them a bit smaller. I'll see how I can change it. I'm glad you like it anyway 😊

Working into the evening, this is my favorite background to keep me focused because I look up at the tv now and then and feel like I'm in this cozy place - it keeps me from wandering off and getting distracted with other tasks. I pretend I'm at a kitchen table just in front of this room.
There's some straw/yarn stuff in a window pane on the left which I'm curious what that is.
