1994, my mom in an old beat up Toyota Corona would blast this and sing along while dropping me off for 4th grade. Thanks mom for planting my punk roots young.
you had a cooler mom than i did...
Your mom's the bees knees
That's beautiful, My Mom did the same. R I P. JUDY 😢❤
My 2 sons that are 11 and 9 and love punk music thanks to me
They had Corona in 1994, wow she was ahead of her time!
I got "And out come the wolves" for Christmas 1995. I spent all of Christmas morning blasting "Ruby Soho" as my Mom yelled at me to play Christmas music. Good memories.
My mom would have demanded I play it over and over again 😂
I got it for xmas 95 too!
ok mom oi to the world will be then
Dude me too. Got a gift card and used it to buy this album and loved it
I got it for Christmas that year too lol
10th grade, 1995. This super popular red-headed upperclassman cheerleader used to drive me home from school in her red VW Cabriolet blasting this song with the top down. She was the loveliest person ever, and I was by far the world's biggest dweeb--but as long as Rancid was blasting I felt as cool as her. I'll never forget you Charlotte!
Isn't this the plot of Sk8r Boi?
It seems like when you had the music, you had a place to go.
Radio empowers.
Rancid has a way of making everyone way cooler then they actually are.
I first heard them in 2000 I was 19😔
10th grade 2003 for me the first time I heard rancid in Ruby Soho
Watching this tonight in memory of my mom who passed away last year. I took her to see Rancid, one of her favorite bands, at Roseland in NYC years before it was sold to a developer, ugh. I love and miss you mama. xoxoxo i will never forget you rocking out with me in the crowd.
❤❤❤❤❤
❤
I'm a Momma of 3 and I Rock On with My Kiddos...Im 46..
A year later, and just wanted to send some love
i wish my parents were as cool as yours. so sorry for your loss but your mother sounds like she lived 7 lives and has storys to tell for generation xxxxxxxxxx
A good friend of mine was really the one that introduced me to Rancid back in high school. I used to go to his house, and I'd play bass, and he'd play the drums to some of their songs while we'd smoke a ton of bud. He passed away from cancer a couple years ago. At my age. 25/26. Really wish I spent more time with him. 🖤 Met his crazy ass in Jr. High. I was literally one of the only metal-head/goth kids. And one day we get a new student, and it's this dude with sleek black hair and a Marilyn Manson T-shirt. We became friends the first day.
I always suspected rancid fans were gay.
my dad and I jammed to rancid since I was in diapers, took me to shows by the time out in anaheim and LA after he passed my punk rock perspective only grew and I cant thank my dad enough for showing me these awesome fucking bands
PsychedelicCure R.I.P. to your dad, sounded like he was an awesome dad!!
My pops never took me to any shows. But he put me into a lot of punk bands he grew up listening to like rancid. He sadly passed away in july of last year. I'll always have this to reminisce and the good times me and him had always. Couldnt ask for a better dad
My dad passed away on December 1st. I miss him a lot and was listening to this because he always played it
My dad did the same thing to me when I was little.
I bought this album on my out of town the last time I ever lived in my hometown. It was a 7 hour drive and I just put it on repeat until I got to where I was going. One my favorites.
懐かしい、高校時代を思い出す🔥
Just saw them play at Oracle Friday Night (Green Day Savior Tour). Rancid is my favorite band of all time. Thank you to my high-school girlfriend Marrieta, who introduced me to both Rancid and Sublime and Primus at that time. Oh, and I’m 44 now and still 15 years old at heart 😊
There is a universe where Rancid is, the ultimate pop band, and everybody appreciates them
I disagree that rancid is "pop"
@@mallorietadych9215 yeah I’m not sure you read my comment correctly. What I said was there is a universe where they are an ultimate pop band. Meaning, they are not a pop band in this universe lol. The reason I said that is because despite all the distortion, the rough voices and the appearance, etc., they write catchy hooks and short pop punk tunes that are easily rememberable and singable. In a Good way!
Seen them more than most. They never disappoint. Probably best live act ever.
There’s also a universe in which you know how to correctly use punctuation.
@@VuotoPneumaNN maybe in that universe grammar nazis didn’t go out of style in 2011 so there’s hope “for u they’re two”
Saw the Transplants open for Rancid...
Watching Tim front the opener for the headliner he fronted was one of the most compelling shows I've ever seen.
2:26 the greatest short scene ever in a Punk music video. Absolute perfect capturing this scene during this moment of song. This is punk rock 🤘
I once jammed with Tim Armstrong and two other guys and we kinda played Ruby Soho's opening and thats a memory that wil never fade and will be written in my grave.
Yeah, and grizzly Adam’s had a beard…
Sometimes I forget how good Rancid is... then I listen to them and am like oh yeah thats right! The first album I ever bought was Rancid's self titled. That was 1996ish, still love them now. Seeing them for the first time in a while, this September wooo!
O man...
1995, skateboard in hand, cold 40 in the other, my ugly best friends all around me...
Now I'm 44 😢
Simple times..
I feel your pain 😂
That was me as well..
41, same memories
Fools! I'm still youg
I'm and forever to this song!)this is true song and legendary!)
Named my daughter ruby after this song. Mad respect to Rancid!
the cover* by jimmy cliff is awesome if you are into reggae as well!
@@oneidawolf776 love reggae but can't say I have heard that song. I'm going to have a listen now. Thanks for the suggestion.
dad!so good!
@@oneidawolf776 No.. This song is from Rancid.
you are right. Jimmy cliff covered Rancid! Good looks paulo!
One of the best songs ever recorded. Glad I have it on vinyl!
Still get goosebumps listening to this song. Takes me back to my youth.
The 90s was a great time to be alive!!! I was in my 20s and in NYC every weekend it was fun and dangerous! If I could sell my memory's it would change the world for the best.
Remember first time I heard these guys when I was in a climbing gym in Alaska...sounded like the Clash, I was like who is this? I was 45 at the time and became a fan...crazy I know, heard about them late, but hey, its Alaska!! Bought like 3 albums, very very good!! Love this song...
Hey I'm a 35 yrs old guy from Japan listening this song for a good two decades so you're not wrong at all... this song moves me every time I listen
I went to see green day in July last year they were there supporting never heard of them before that fell in love with them now
+Ben Luke where are you from dude??
mywhychromosome I’m from Swansea in Wales, I seen green day in Hyde park in London
That's awesome man! I'm from NY, I haven't seen Green Day in years but I saw them back in 2002 on the "Pop Disaster" tour...interesting days man, interesting days. I've never been to the UK but have always been a bit obsessed with it, as a ton of my favorite bands are from there, and I'm definitely gonna visit eventually. I was just curious as to where Rancid would have opened for GD, so that's very cool
i remember being 15 and my friend said "get a load of this band" in biology class, he gave me the earphones and i was sold.. it was out comes the wolves record and the song was roots radicals! still one of my fav bands
This Song used to come one some music channel at like 4am when i was 13. I used to stay up just to hear it over and over again. This one single-handedly got me into Rancid almost 12 years ago. countless concerts later: still my favorite band today!
Love AEW, and I've been a rancid fan since I was little, would play THPS and they often had Rancid songs in them lol. Big fan of this song. Hopefully Ruby Soho has a good career in AEW.
When she came out to this song with Rancid for the first time as Ruby Soho, she was so cute rocking out as the fangirl she is!
Echoes of reggae
Comin' through my bedroom wall
Having a party up next door but
I'm sittin here all alone
Two lovers in the bedroom
And the other started to shout
All I got is this blank stare
And that ain't carry no clout at all
Go!

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby Soho
Destination unknown
Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby Soho
He's singing
And she's there to lend a hand
He's seen his name on the marquee
But she will never understand
Once again he's leavin'
And she's there with a tear in her eye
Embraces with a warm gesture it's time
Time to say goodbye
Destination unknown
Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby Soho
Destination unknown
Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby Soho
Ruby's heart ain't beatin'
'Cause she knows the feelin' is gone
She's not the only one who knew that
There's somethin' wrong
Her lover's in the distance
As she wipes a tear from her eye
Ruby's fading out, she disappears, it's time
Time to say goodbye

Yes my bro!
I wish that harmony at the end lasted for 10 minutes. The last minutes of this song is musical perfection.
It *IS* Magic!
And Out Come the Wolves is one of the single most important albums of all time.
Without Energy, we wouldn't have had all the rest.
Agreed!
Rancid is one of my favorite bands of all time, now seeing Ruby SoHo in aew just makes rancid, and aew so much better!!!
Love how the FIRST thing you see on Lars' guitar was the Swingin' Utters sticker. He love's that band as much as I do and he wanted them to have exposure badly. Also, love Tim's lowrider Stingray.
Got to see them live last night in Detroit. This song has been stuck in my head since lol
That ain't all bad my friend. Have a great weekend.
@@stanstenson8168 you too
A E DUB!!! This song has been stuck in my head for almost 3 days now. I’ll be going to Dynamite tonight, and Ruby will be wrestling so I get to sing along to this song with thousands of others!
Enjoy they are gonna rock it. Love how Lars and the band are behind her so much. Most def Ruby is the people's champ of AEW imo. :)
There's gonna be so many little girls and boys dressing like Ruby Soho. So glad she's get her shine
were #ALLELITE
I bet i can sing this song so loud all my friends can hear is that a flex maybe if its .....
I was just at Double or Nothing last night and Rancid was there live to play Ruby's song! Was so awesome
Just saw them at louder than life music festival in Louisville Kentucky. They were absolutely amazing, I was so glad that they sounded good life. I realize that Tim Armstrong is a poet who cares a lot more about the lyrics than anything else. He was really talking to the crowd.
Still rockin Rancid in 2023 😎
懐かしいなあ
懐かしさと新鮮さは同居した感覚
im 45 now... been loving these guys for 20yrs. still listening to them everyday.
42 here, same story.
40 now been thru near death and back. Came across this song and wondered how I got so lost. Good vibes always
42 on 2/24/24
And so this beat lives on.....
aww so long ago, out come the solves kept me going as a teen years back. i starting missing ruby sohi and 11th hour. wonderful music and i praise your carrer, great job!!!
Ruby Soho is All Elite !
She better use this music to come out, even tho it's clear her lover in the song is WWE
What a show All Out was. Loved seeing Ruby so happy to be there.
@@edpope120 Yeah, I was a lapsed wrasslin fan but ordered AEW: ALL OUT hoping it would deliver. It delivered, and Ruby's entrance was five-star: ua-cam.com/video/_mHynOe3v2M/v-deo.html
@@sinicalypse She was on a podcast with Lars after being released from WWE and really wasn't sure what she was going to use as a ring name since Ruby Riott was TM'd by Vince. As she'd taken the Ruby name from the song in the first place, Lars told her, "Why don't you just use the name Ruby Soho then and I'll take care of the music clearance?" She took his suggestion, he cleared it so she could use it for entrance music, and he sent her a text thanking her for letting him be part of that moment.
Yes
What a freaking sound on this song. I went to see another band open for rancid a long time ago, I think it was just to see AFI during the total immortal days, and then I stuck around for the show (wasnt into them much at the tie), and it was fucking amazing
We need punk more now than we have since the early 1980s. So glad that we have youtube to keep this stuff alive (along with DK's, etc)
Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby Soho.....is All Elite!!!
This came out when I was a sophomore in college. Best time I ever had. I'm good now but then I had no responsibility. Nothing but to party. I get sad listening to this sometimes because two of my crew from this time are dead. Partying to hard catching up. 19 back then now in are 40's. Miss you Devin.
Throughout the whole "...And Out Come The Wolves" album you can hear the influence from The Clash but in none more than this song. It's so good.
God dang! How I miss rancid! Come back strong guys please
Ruby Soho (ruby riott) is All Elite!
You AEW fan boys have an IQ of 14!
Brings back memories in high school playing StarCraft and listening to Rancid. I was such an weird kid.
2024 and i'm still listening to this album!
It’s so good!
Yup
I'm here In korea
Yes!!!!
Me too..
Got this album new listened to it in high school then got my now 20 year old son into them and now I’m letting my grandson listen to them while we work on my rat rod pickup. Good times!
Amazing how music can instantly teleport you to the past. All of a sudden it's 1996 and I'm at Jimmy's music club in NOLA watching these guys with Suicide Machines and Rocket from the Crypt. Didn't know how good I had it at the time
The bassplayers jams blows my hair back!
I'm so happy a generation pro wrestling fans could love this song like I did when I was a teenager Ruby Soho thank you rancid for allowing her to use that song Tony Khan for purchasing a from Rancid and I hope she Ruby Soho wins the world title tonight
Been a rancid fan for 30+ years... I still hear rechos of reggae... I try not to.
I was born in '77, so I'm in that new, little generation they've recently added that has me growing up in the 80's/90's. Operation Ivy and Rancid were two bands that definitely influenced my bass playing. Still great songs till this day.
I’m a Rancid Fan. Seen them in Concert. “Ruby SoHo!” Jonny Weiss “Love.” 🎶
Man the times where sooo amazing!!!!
Btw I never felt love like the love I felt at a skate park!!
Liberty Spikes for days. Nothing better
I REALLY wanted dyed hair and liberty spikes starting in middle school. I never got the dreads or spikes I wanted, but my mom bought me hair dye that was supposed to be one color, but turned my pale blonde hair purple. After that she gave up with my hair color and style.
liberty spikes are great until you figure out it alot of work for hair. god bless those who spend the time and effort.
before i started going bald i did this a few times. a lot of work & mine never looked that cool lol!
@@thomasfields2082 i did it a few times when i had a mohawk. mine never looked that cool though. it is a lot of work.
@@thomasfields2082 beeswax!
Every punk girl I knew in HS just melted when this song was played. Such a great song.
Hadn't seen this video in a billion years! Thought I'd pop by.
Same
"R'echoes of Reggae.. comin through my bedroom wall.." perfection!
We named our new puppy ruby because of this song. One of my favorites :)
my mom had a dog named ruby too,i ended up keepin it since my mom traveled a lot,it was a shi tzu or w/e

I've ran the gamut on music for the last 20+, still would pick ....out come the wolves and punk in drublic as my favorite albums. My 14yo self won't let me leave 1995.
1995 was an awesome year.
thank goodness for 4k upgrades.. 1st time I'm watching this video where the images are super clear, awesome!
Mid 90”s was a great time!! This song brings it all back!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤩
このころのTIMがいちばんかっこええ~!
I loved this song as a teen in 95 ,and still in 2021 . Rancid is one of my all time fave bands .love em❤💯🔥
Slow motion at the end with the band walking and Tim on the bike epic 👌
I was 16 in 1996. And OCTW was a mainstay in my CD player. Best car album ever.

Ruby Soho the wrestler brought me back here.
Man this song brings me back too my highschool days I use to love these guys
This whole album is amazing
Finally saw them play live, in Italy, June 2 2023 (same day their new album dropped). They were so awesome!
Me too!!! They were amazing❤
Great band!!!
This quarantine has officially put me in the past. Craziness.

If we can’t go out, we’ll go inside.
Where country you are?

I just made the same thought!
Who else had a old lady named Ruby? I loved going out in the 90s. I was totally free loved it !!
Omg i used to play this band and just feel the punk ooz out my soul.
Been at least 20 years since I last heard this song and it still kicks major a**. I like finding new music but I love finding songs I used to love.
The year was 1995 and today after so long I still love it.
I wasn't a punk in '95 but I loved this album. I know it's still technically punk-pop, but what an album.
30 years and still kicking ass. Peace.
I gotta call from a club I tended bar at back in the 90’s- asked me if I wanted to work a show, so I said sure thing.
Show up and it’s RANCID playing that night.
Sigh. Miss that era….
There's one song that pops up in my head randomly every once in a while and it's this damn song. I keep seeing to myself Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby Soho Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby Soho. Over and over I keep singing it and I don't know why that's why I came here.
Good music! A classic!
Saaaalve! Som clássico mermo!
You'll never hear music like this again
Da-lhe Braaaaasil
I guess it shows that you can have a shitty voice and still become popular.
The Bible says faith in Jesus Christ and repentance are the ONLY way into the Kingdom of Heaven. John 14:6

Who's still here from the 90's ❤????
Bring back the 90's!!!
here from 2024, but reminiscing on the ol days
Rancid is my life blood. Love these guys.
I saw Rancid in highschool at a barge on the Elizabeth called The Boathouse. I never heard of them before. They were with some nothing band named The Offspring. Sometimes you never know. Thinking back, I also saw another concert there with two other nothing bands....... Pantera and White Zombie. It fucking rocks seeing bands in their prime!
Boathouse was fire! Miss that place.
Rancid got me through some of the hardest parts of my life in the 90s. 🥰
When I first heard this song, I swore it was The Clash, and that's a compliment!
I never stop of listen your music, never! and the first time was in 1999, when i was a school boy.. today in 2020 on a work keep play Rancid.. Your style is amazing!
I feel bad for the young generation who never hard of Rancid, one of the greatest!!!
There's still YT...so there's still hope for 'em!
Its ok for us
22 yo latin american here... fucking everyone of my age listens to stuff like despacito. Im glad i can enjoy the best of punk, by myself, but its worth it
I saw them live in Lepakko, Finland 1996. Great gig!
Just got a mixed bag of patches, and after looking Rancid up after seeing their logo on a patch, I think the Rancid patch deserves a spot on my battle jacket.
