I passed my test 2 weeks ago and took my CB125F back to my Honda dealer and picked up my CB500F (2022) and loving it. I am loving the smooth power delivery , the exhaust note and the ability to get away from numptys if needed ;-)

It's good that Honda have retained the decent tank size (range nearly 300 miles!), nice exhaust and quality tyres on the 'new' bike. Traction control seems OTT on a 500 - and I prefer the more simple controls on my CB500F (no joystick to confuse me). The 500 is a great little bike for playing on back roads - I actually prefer it to its bigger Hornet brother. Good to see you up at Damerell's, Lofty. (PS Jane's the wife!)
Thinking of getting one of these. Done my time on a harley and fancy getting back to a naked street bike. Nealy 60 so not overly looking for a speed demon. Good review gives me positive vibes 👍
Great roadtest ....lots of competition ain't there in the 400 to 500 class . Bet you could tour on the CB500 Hornet with some type of screen on the front .

love mine, but my gearbox is playing up, drops out of 2nd and generally has trouble with 2nd. Will get it looked at at next service. 1500 miles in.
