Thanks Steve for the opportunity to win this
Video of the draw will be up on 7th Feb 🙂
All in one kit, 16” height is a bonus
Very generous of you to give it away👍
Sometime, you regret a decision LOL ! I know I am, but I said I'd give it away so I will 🙁
that looks a very good system Steve I like the no trailing cables and the size is a nice handy one👍👍 take care
Cheer buddy.
Yep a very neat and compact unit, and as you say, no trailing wires so it will look good on display in the kitchen etc 🙂
Got one of these in the mail. Getting ready to do unboxing and review.
The best one of this type that I have tested - hope you like it.
Have a great week over there
Currently watching your unboxing video to the end!
Hope you enjoyed it!
We have the AreoGarden as well for several years now! It’s great.
@@gbltheolechurch5acrehomestead I love my 2 Aerogardens but the supplies are impossible to buy here now. Making my own plugs does not work as well for some reason. Must try harder LOL
Great looking piece of kit Steve, I love watching you and your gadgets :)
Cheers Bethan. I wish I wasn't giving this one away now - best I've had LOL
I was looking at these on the Canadian Amazon site and found them to be pretty costly for us here in Canada. I enjoyed your third installment of harvesting your salad greens and wanted to come over to the un boxing to check it out. Thank you for coming by to watch my egg roll video and I'm happy your indoor hydroponic garden worked well for you. I've sown a lettuce bowl so to speak in soil in Nov. and it is growing along nicely so far. But, I must say your unit here has grown the salad greens a lot faster.
I've had a few different indoor systems like this but this one is the best by far. They are selling for $132 in Canada at present with my discount code. ($140 on Amazon).
I ned to get some cut and come again sown, now that I am giving this unit away LOL
Have a great Sunday over there 🙂
@@DigwellGreenfingers Thank you my friend across the pond for the information. I'll look into that .
Looks good and a well thought out construction.
That is very nice of you to send on 👍. Hope you all had a great new year and spent some time with the kiddies. Have a great week let’s get this party started 😂😂 🎉🎉 2023 is gonna rock for growing.
Cheers Ali. The Met Office has said they expect 2023 to be even warmer than 2023 - trying to figure out my planting schedule after losing so much last year.
Oh well, who said gardening is easy LOL
Have a great week over there!
Nice looking piece of kit there Steve.
Never tried hydroponics before so something else to add to the shopping list👍
I do like them Mark - you may have guessed LOL
A nice bit of kit Steve. I think hydroponic / Wicking systems in general, give a fairly constant crop. ideal for new growers also 👍
🌻🌻Nigel.............MuddyBootz Allotment🌻🌻
I use at least one of my other two all Winter/Spring when the outdoor stuff tends to be less sweet.
You are so generous Steve. Looking forward to seeing the results. Happy new year
I have no doubt the unit will produce crops 🙂
One of the better I have tested
I recognised that seed pack lol. Happy new year buddy and what a great piece of kit. My one I have to turn the light on and off as required so yours having a timer is a bonus
Happy new year, Richard! Yep, great seeds from the Veg Growers Podcast Club - more shoutouts coming!
Looks like a great bit of kit so far. One lucky person will be getting it in a few weeks!
That looks brilliant!
Looks like a great bit of kit and it is doing well so far
Looks good and very generous of you to give away. 👍
Awh, thanks Deirdre!
Looks interesting. Never tried Hydroponics, must give it a try
Happy new year, that looks a great piece of kit
It is a lot better than the last one I reviewed!
Have a great week
Can’t wait to see the final results
They were good
I like how tall the lights reach Steve.
♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
Yep - better than many Terry. I'll be doing the tech specs in the next video
@@DigwellGreenfingers 👍❤️👍
This looks like a brilliant bit of kit 👌
I almost wish I hadn't promised to give it away LOL
Hi mate. Interesting unboxing and set up. Looks like a decent unit. Take care. Nick
Cheers Nick. Certainly is. 100% better than the last one I reviewed.
Have a great week buddy!
Happy New Year Steve. Nice looking setup. Look forward to seeing your results. Take care. Mags.
Cheers Mags. Happy New Year to you too up there!
It's like Christmas all over when something you've ordered arrives from Amazon or elsewhere, looks a great peace of kit. Happy New Year enjoy the new season as it slowly starts.
Many thanks and a happy 2023 to you too!
Hi Steve, That looks a good little unit, Happy new year to you, Take care.
Cheers Ron - have a great 2023 buddy
Great video thanks Steve as always
Thanks 👍 A good bit of kit!
looks a great piece of kit.
I like it - pretty neat!
Cool looking hydroponic system Steve. It would be nice to know the spectrum of those LEDs. We’ll be watching to see how well it works for you. Take care.
There is no data except "full spectrum" but I'll be doing the specs in the next video
Nice Steve that looks like a handy bit of kit, cud be a good way to root cuttings for the ssp challenge 2023 😀 , great video stay safe mate
Haha - trust you Duncan 🤣🤣
@@DigwellGreenfingers 😅 you can get very similar things just for cuttings
just love the look at this one i wonder how it goes x
Always wanted one, looks great. 🤞
Good luck!
A nice little project for the winter months. Looks like a well built unit. Not a bad price either especially with the discount. Great review as always 👏
Yes indeed, Mandy - a great unit and what I think is a really great price 🙂
This looks very interesting, I've been thinking about trying one of these.
This is the best one that I have tried, and I've tested four so far!
Happy New year
Happy new year to you too! Hope it is a great one for you
Looks like a well designed product and takes window sill growing to a whole new level. If you get good results, Steve, I'd consider purchasing a unit - it'll fascinate my grandchildren as they love growing seedlings. Thank you for the review and I look forward to future videos.
Great idea! I gave the last one I reviewed to my son and his kids (my grandkids LOL) love snipping the leaves to add to their meals!
The leaves in this one are about 2cm tall now so only a week or so before the final video
Hi Steve looks like a nifty little unit. 🙏💚👍🤠
Sure is Nick. Better than the last one I tried (see videos LOL)
@@DigwellGreenfingers I think I saw the one with the wires dangling down, not so nifty!😁🙏💚👍
I've never been sold by this type of growing however this does look a lovely bit of kit. I could be swayed one day im sure haha! You know i love a gadget. I'll look forward to the update Steve! Who knows I maybe sold. Cheers buddy. Danny
I gave the last one I reviewed to my son & family. They use it all the time and the grandkids love sowing and cutting the leaves to eat. It's sat on the kitchen counter so no effort to eat healthily 🙂
@@DigwellGreenfingers love the concept though! I maybe swayed one day matey! Haha
@@TheGrowUpChannel Fresh tomatoes all year round, chillies on call to spice up a dish, lettuce to snip and put into a BLT LOL
Looks good not done hydroponics before
I like these growing systems. Plonk it on the kitchen worktop and pick leaves etc all year round - straight onto the plate!
That looks a lot better than the other you reviewed 😁🌱☀️
It is Fletch - almost regret giving it away, oh well! LOL
@@DigwellGreenfingers the Techplant guy has just done a video review of the LetPot hydroponics modular planter MP1 today 😁🌱☀️
@@fletchybabe6172 Yeah, there are a few videos around of their different products
hi Steve ... that looks just right size to sit on the side in the kitchen
Yep, perfect. And so easy to trim a few leaves etc in the kitchen 🙂
Looks like a great piece of kit Steve love a giveaway
Good luck!
Looks like a lovely little unit Steve, I’m impressed with the height 😀 stay safe David 👍👍
And unlike others, the light array is stable at height!
That looks nice and neat and seems to be a very easy setup. Time will tell if it's any good. Thanks Steve and take care
I like it San! Almost sad to give it away LOL
Pity you didn't unbox it first before announcing it was a give away.
Thanks Steve ... this looks way more user friendly than the one I bought a few years ago where everything is either a sealed unit or only available from 'the company'. I never found much use for it when it worked out they were charging about £3 or more per seed. I already love the fact you can drain the system, it has an APP for monitoring and you can lower and lift the lights without have to buy extra pieces. In fact, I like it so much, I just used your discount code lol. Now to see how long it takes to arrive from wherever it ships from. Hope its not HK or I could get delayed at customs.
Oh cool, glad you made use of the offer! The website says they have warehouses in Europe so I hope it will be quick for you. Mine came in 7 days I think it was just after Christmas. I was playing with the APP today and I'll show how to use it in the next video.
Have a great week
This could be a great little set for growing indoors if you have no outside space. Looks great for beginners too.
Very true! Also good for year round lettuce etc
That looks like a nice piece of kit.
It will be interesting to see how the growing goes. I wonder what the running costs will be?
Thanks for your interesting video and a Happy New year to you.
I'll be doing the specs etc in the next video but the LEDs consume 24W so just over ½p per hour on the 16/8 hourly cycle.
This reminds me of one of Advent Calendar figurines;) looks nice, Steve. Interesting, it's on for 18 hours a day. Our grow lights are on a 12-hour timer. Is there a reason for that ?
Cheers Steve!!
Jason and Colleen 🌱🌱🌱
No, young padawan, you are jumping the gun a bit "Be mindful of the here and now" LOL
I'll be doing the specs in the next video and you can change the on/off times and duration via the WiFi-connected app🙂
16/8 is the "as boxed" default.
Have a great week guys
@@DigwellGreenfingers cool, look forward to seeing it.
or you could do what me dad used to do and use the polystyrene plant pot trays for 3" pots and float them in the water tank 🤣I guess thats the ultimate No Dig .
I did something very similar back in the day LOL
How great is that piece if kit
I like it, a lot!
Happy new year mate, nice setup ,not for me though, I will stick to traditional gardening.
I like these as I can grow tomatoes, herbs and chillies etc all year round indoors. It is basically the same as my outdoor hydroponics but with lights
Can I enter and have you send it to wee Rose @ Rose's Allotment Adventure?
Of course Tim, details on how to enter in a few weeks (2 videos time I expect)
Hi Steve, Happy New Year and hope you had a lovely Christmas too. Ooh, that looks i nice bit of kit 👍 will be interesting to see how it goes. Thanks for sharing and takecare🙂
Many thanks Christine. Almost wish I hadn't said I'd give it away now LOL
