Staggeringly beautiful composition that can be appreciated, I would think, by believer, agnostic or atheist. Unaccompanied choral works like this, especially when so beautifully performed, reinforce the view that the human voice is the most gorgeous of musical instruments....
Even if it's not the entirety of the opus, the quality of the voices heard here is just blissful...

Even animals that walk the earth might stand still and cease, just for a moment, being lowly creatures upon hearing this. How blessed, by comparison, is the position living humans find themselves in.
@88Gibson LesPaul it's true. Our world is in crisis and the children of God are too busy fighting amongst themselves. There are so few of us truly living for God and fighting evil. True evil, the kind that divides our church, murders Christians in Asia, South America, and Africa, and obeys the laws of the devil instead of the laws of God.
We desperately need to get over our political differences and start having politics through the lens of our faith instead of the other way around. The longer we sow division amongst ourselves and tolerate Christians who only are at church because "it's what we do", the longer we allow the world to fall into ruin. We we in crisis, and we have not at all adopted what is needed to fix it. God will have to intervene, and if we look at the history books and the Bible, it never is pretty. He often intervenes with brutal wakeup calls that only end when we turn back to him. Meanwhile, we risk letting the world burn.
Animals are not destroying the Earth. So, animals would surely stand still and cease when they hear this. They already connect to God in a way we can only hope.
