Dude, this is a miracle. As a perpetually injured, on-again-off-again gym rat, I'm finding low-impact HIIT to be The Answer. I'm also finding myself getting out of bed at 4:45 to DO this workout, twice, because I know it's only 18 minutes. I can squeeze it in before work--no excuses made! And the rest of my day? Awesome, because I worked out. I betcha zillions of us would sign up for a series of these short low-impact HIIT workouts. Come on,Jessica! Give the people what they want!
Thanks for your request Cyndy! I'm so glad you are enjoying this routine! I'm noting your request and we'll see what we can do! (BTW - thanks for waking up so early to sweat with me - amazing!)
day 6 is now completely done! Amazing how fast 9 min's goes by when your working up a craaazy sweat! I did the 1 hr. hiit yesterday. My arms still feel it! I feel good. I'm eating healthier so far with this challenge. I can't wait to see the change when we're on day 20.
#QUICKFIT HOLIDAY FITNESS PLAN - WEEK THREE/DAY 16: Thank you JSTV! I completed the 9-Minute, Low Impact HIIT workout followed by the 10-Minute Lower Body routine (leg workout, butt, chair workout), and I feel great! Working out in smaller chunks definitely makes these routines more bearable. It's a lot easier to complete 10-minutes, then hear Jessica suggest you stay for the next routine -- also only 10-minutes. I find myself thinking "it's only 10 minutes", as opposed to "OMG, 30-minutes to go!" Both of today's routines got my heart rate up and a good sweat going, and I'm energized for the day. See you tomorrow. ;)
Jessica, thank you for doing a low impact HIIT workout, this is perfect. My knees and ankles cannot handle the high intensity workouts. Yes, i second what Xena Greene said, please do more low impact workouts. I have been telling my friends to try your video workouts.
Thanks! To answer your questions, you can do this workout one on its own (HIIT w/o's are so effective they can be kept short), or paired with another routine if you like. You can also repeat the video 2-3x in total for a more intense session. Are you following our fall challenge? We've got a whole rotation planned out for you there :-)
Day 3 Complete...Omgosh...this wasn't as easy as I thought...But it sure did wake me up. I'm excited to get back and I'm glad Jessica recommended to follow the program the way its set up. It avoids you getting too sore too soon where you give up. This program seems so do-able. :)
Had some knee irritation during my normal lifting routine. Took a few days off to let it heal, but I wanted some interval workouts that would be safe and effective. This was perfect, thank you. Doing it twice in a row is killer!
Love this workout . . . it's so hard to find low impact HIIT, and this one's a winner. I'm still catching up on the challenge, so used this as a nice warmup to today's Cardio Pilates.
Chose this for my Week 3 Day 4 #SpringAhead challenge routine. I really like how this always gets my heart rate up in such a short period of time. I added the routine I missed last week to this and now I am all caught up-yaay!!! Thank you and have a wonderful day!!!
Day 6 - all done now - hated the abs LOVED this I have back and feet problems which makes high impact difficult but this really got my heart racing and now I feel full of life and ready for a super busy weekend. THANK YOU
Completed both workouts for Day 6! My heart was beating fast after this one! I can see myself doing this one quite a bit. Really liked it! As always, thank you, Jessica!
Day 6 done and I'm so excited about a low impact HIIT!!! I have lupus so I have to avoid stress on my joints. I thought there would never be a HIIT I could do but leave it to you, Jessica!! You're awesome and congratulations on your success! 20,000 people can't be wrong
#SpringAhead wk3 day 4 - was going to choose the longer workout until I realised it meant jumping! Low impact hiit suited me better - heavy breathing yes and broke sweat by end (room temp cool). Thank you Jessica x
Lose your love handles week, day 1: did it twice in a row and really enjoyed it. I did pause the video a few times to get a longer recovery. My favorite move today was at 7:20. Thank you Jessica.
Day6 done.checked in earlier on Lower Ab circuit.I love this HIIT.Decided to make this my exercise snack. My favorite move is stationary skater.Toughest is spiderman climb.Too fun!
1/2 of day 6 finished! Loved it so much, did it twice :) Thanks, Jessica! One of my knees has tendonitis ,and this is perfect to get the HR up without aggravating my knee.
I truly appreciate these videos, young lady. I had a near death experience in 2013 from drinking and drugging for 24 years. I have now been sober for over five years, but I have damage to my equilibrium from my using days. These shorter videos really work well for someone like me. Thank you.
Day 6 complete! LOVED this one! I can't believe how much a little, 9 min workout kicked my butt!!! The length for the intensity and impact was perfect! You really have some awesome routines in your head and I love how you make everything look effortless. :)
Day 16 done! I decided to do the low impact routine since I also completed yesterday's workout today. Who knew I could get such a great sweat on and be so out of breath with a low impact workout. This may be one of my new favorites when I need a quick but heart pumping workout! Thanks Jessica!
Completed #FITIN15 Cardio Party this morning before work, after work added 25 min Bootcamp Boogie and ended with 9 min low impact high intensity training workout. Great day!! Love these workouts!!
Part 2 of Day #6 complete! I finished an hour ago but went and took a shower... so glad I remembered to come back and post. This workout was fun and I never thought I could work so hard (and push myself) to workout without actually jumping up and down. Whew~ thank you again Jessica :)
Now THIS is more my style. Thank goodness you have low impact videos. Did a couple of rounds of 5-min-fix Standing Abs earlier today, and then this one in the evening, for today's SpringAhead Challenge.
Day 6 b...Jessica, I finally got it to play via Internet explorer. What an awesome workout. I don't really miss all that jumping. I actually felt good enough to do it twice. Thanks. Day 6 is officially done! ~Grace
Day 6 done. I've been doing this every now and then to get the benefit of HIIT without all the jumping - and no burpees, lol. This is just what this 55 year old body can handle. See you tomorrow
Completed Day 16 of the QuickFit holiday challenge today. I suspected that I've been fighting a cold or something the last day or two, and this proved it! I was very short of breath doing this quick workout. So, unfortunately I will not be doing another workout today after this one, as I had planned. Just glad I got this one done, and looking forward to doing some strength training tomorrow. Hopefully early to bed tonight to keep fighting this thing!
Hi Jessica! I'm so happy that I found your channel! Your workouts are great! This Low Impact HIIT workout is my favorite because it's really easy on the knees but it really can take the heart rate up!
QuickFit Week 3 day 2 - done! Back after a brief hiatus. Thanks for helping me remember how good it feels to exercise. Added 12-minute Power Walk and Short and Sweet Stretch which felt wonderful.
Busy week but finally getting around to doing the workout. Opted for low impact and will pair it with single sided strength that I still haven't done from last week!
#SummerofStrength day 16 -- I tried to do the Plyometric HIIT that was planned for today -- but into the second exercise I realised it wasn't going to work with my left Achilles -- so I switched it out to this one. Thanks very much for including the link in the description. Short and fun -- this one gave me a real energy boost!
I'm just a beginner but this was so easy to follow and my heart rate is up and my legs are gonna hate me tomorrow, but it felt SO worth it!! (oh and thank you, it seems like you have a fair bit of videos for small spaces/apartments and living in a state with hard winters, this will be GREAT when i can't get outdoors!)
Hi Jessica! Thanks so much for this video. I have an issue with my hip and can't do high impact, but I love high intensity. This is perfect. Would love to see a 15 minute version. Thanks for all the videos you share. There REALLY is something for everyone!
Nice work today team! I love to see you cheering each other on too :-) let's keep that positive team spirit!! Peanut and I are so proud of all of you- week #1 almost done :-))
I thought that this would be only a warmup so easy and no sweating! but man was i wrong. lol i combined this and the barefoot walk(my fav) and i was SO sore the next day. Thank you so much for these awesome videos!
I'm so busy this week, especially today. This workout helps me maximize my time. I'm really keeping my exercise routine. Thank you for this week workout Jessica. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Fall Fitness day 27 done. Wow. I am sweating. Who would have thought just eight mins could have me dripping like I had done 30 mins. Jessica you rock. Did this as alternative to the higher intensity plyometric hiit workout as I can't do all the jumping due to my knees but it was awesome. I have to say that the shortness of it was perfect for me as I wasn't feeling like doing a longer one today. When I thought I couldn't go any longer on each of the the routine your voice would come in with the countdown and spur me on to complete. Thank you :-)
For years I was so into the 30 minute exercises, and I see where these HIIT workouts are very effective and they are just the right ones for me. I thought it would be too easy for me, and half way through was challenging but not really hard, and I have been doing quite a few of her other workouts. I exercise every day and I enjoy them .
Day 18 of the #SpringAhead challenge done! This workout was a great way to get my heart rate up without jumping :) I paired this workout with the 30 min Power Walk video!
Week 3 Day 4 is done. I was going to do the plyo HIIT for today, but I am tired and needed something less jerky ;). Thank-you for another great workout. Will be walking/running 2.25 miles during nap later.
Day 6 done. Thank you Jessica for providing us with a HIIT workout that was low impact. Great work out without all the jumping.
Yay! Thanks for celebrating with me :-) Thank you for helping us reaching our 20,000 goal!

Day 6 - all done now - hated the abs LOVED this I have back and feet problems which makes high impact difficult but this really got my heart racing and now I feel full of life and ready for a super busy weekend. THANK YOU
This was a great HiiT, I love that it's not the same moves as you usually see in this type of workout.
