@@marcoh3065 Sorry for your loss-terrible. I too lost someone dear to me-my best friend (to cancer also). This song certainly echos my feelings---he was a great friend how listened to Numan with me, but is now gone. It breaks me, again.

It beggars belief that someone who's been around for so long can still be improving. I've been a fan of Numan for over twenty years, and I didn't think he could get any better. Words almost fail me ...the whole album is quality..
This album is truly incredible.
For those who don't get it, this is Gary's coming of age album, not Gary himself, but the evolution of his music.
The writing, movement and production is outstanding.
Some simply don't get it (mostly because they're stuck in 1981), but this is Gary's most rounded and accomplished album to date.
Numan is at the top of his game in recent years. Fantastic. Seen him live in 2000 and in 2019. Both great shows but the 2019 gig in Glasgow was above and beyond. The man never ages or slows down.
Hope he tours again soon. My most iconic show to see live was Telekon 1981.

@@slumdogjay nice! Yea I was about 12 years old for the Telekon concert. He played all Telekon LP and pleasure principle material. Was amazing, but would be even more if I could time travel and see it now! Lucky us a new numan release and its a great one.
I'm looking forward to seeing him in Minneapolis later this year. I started listening to Gary a few years ago and it's been absolutely amazing. Helped inspire me to stay clean and sober even after a bad break-up.

If there's a song that can rip your emotions and put them back together again, it's this one. This helped me through some hard things from October 12th 2021 through the next 90 days.
It helped inspire me to stay sober and move on and I look forward to seeing Gary Numan in Minnesota later this year.

Gary had me at Telekon. The rest as they say is history.
Gary is unique and a true talent. I'm still discovering works of his that have so much emotion that his songs take me to places in my own life. I'm reminded in how I felt then and how I feel now about turning points in my life. Intruder is a masterpiece of work! Thank you Gary for sharing your amazing works of art with us!
