I just put a 3" carven TR on my 09 Tundra 5.7L and it sounds great! took a few days for it to break in and lose some of the poppyness. now it has a nice tone all through the RPM range and cruising down the freeway its pretty quiet inside the cab.

@@Towerhand911 some, especially when climbing a hill in 5th gear. Once back into 6th it quiets down. I’m used to it now.
Love carven had X pipe into 2 carvens in my 2017 performance pack 5.0 mustang Gt sound like a race car. For so many compliments

@CarvenExhaust Is it a head turner? I want something loud but not stupid loud. Got any recommendations? I thought about dulling the carven r with my 2016 tundra 5.7 V8. What’s the volume different between this one and using 2 carven r?

Towards the end of the video we went full throttle hitting close to 80mph thats the most drone you will here in cab and honestly it wasn't nothing

I have a mint Competitor muffler that I used for my 19 Ram 1500. I used it for maybe, 300 miles, before I traded it in for a Toyota Corolla. Recently bought a 2020 Tundra with the 5.7. Can you guys take the old muffler back for a credit and apply it to the purchase of this awesomeness? That muffler is so mint.

Do you recommend welding fittings in place or are the clamps enough??
Clamps will be enough. No welding is required but follow our instructions as well as look at the tools we use to install our kits. Great question.

What setup would you guys recommend for a 2007 Tundra 5.7L? I don't want it over the top aggressive or raspy, just a noticeable deep rumble with slight bark on acceleration

We have not done any recent upgrades on the 2014-2021 Tundra Cat-Back Exhaust Kits
What is the diameter of the piping? Plan on pairing this exhaust with ARH 1-7/8th x 3” LT headers.
The piping from the flange is identical to hem fitment. so if those headers are oem fitment it should have no problem bolting it all up.

About to buy an exhaust for my 16 tundra. What, if any is the difference between the competitor series and the TR?
Great question. The kit that is on this tundra video is actually utilizing the Carven-R series muffler which is considered the competitor kit(more Aggressive tone). The Carven-TR series will give out a more deeper tone not so aggressive as you hear in this video. A ton of tundra owners love the Carven-TR muffler on there tundras and don't get me wrong it sounds great.
Do you guys have any systems that keep the dual exhaust? I really dislike the single exhaust pipe.

Unfortunately I don't think It will. Out of every dealer I called every service department was unsure about the exhaust components. We will try and get a 1794 edition to our shop to check fitment.

Exhaust hangers are completely different. Feel free to call your local Toyota dealers and speak with there service department and they will loop you in on why they are different
How much of a gamble is it to try to fit this on a 2013 tundra. I know you guys say the reason it's not for 2009 and up tundras is that you haven't taken the measurements. Same wheel base and everything however and looks similar to other catbacks that fit 2009-2021

From what I’ve seen, the exhaust from 10-current is the same. Do you know what prevents this from fitting on the 10-13?

Is the tundra complete cat back system only for crew max tundras or would it fit on double cab tundras as well?
It will fit a double cab but most not be the long bed as well as it needs to be between 2014-2019 Toyota tundras.

I did duel 40 series on my tundra an it's loud as shit , tundras sound the best in my opinion.
Our tundra cat back kit is one of my favorite sounds so far.
Just throwing it out there, nothing has changed exhaust wise on the tundra since 07-20 so I don’t see why this wouldn’t fit the 2nd gen model Tundra

So i am really interested in your system but do not want any drone! I have gone through a bunch of reviews and keep reading that your system drones horribly! You guys claim no drone but again i keep reading that it drones bad! Whats the final word, can someone give real world, unbiased reviews on the drone.
The team and I took our Tundra with this cat back kit from Corona Ca to Las Vegas NV for sema and we barely heard anything. So calm half the guys fell asleep during the ride there, "Drones horribly" maybe if you do a lot of pulling like as in RV's or work load but if you don't do ether of those this kit won't drone. Great Question.
