Hey are these comparable to the SS3 Sport? All the pictures/photos make me think the SS3 is the better performer- but for the OE fog slot on a GX470 the SS6 is a much better fit
He means actually wiring it to the switch I think, or if you are replacing the switch with a different one, how to actually wire it especially if the wires are different colors etc…. Where is that video? I agree I have a new switch and everything ready to go….
Hey there! There are multiple ways to wire this kit, it's all up to you! With the included harness, you'll hook up the positive and negative leads, route the DT wiring up to the front of the vehicle, and the toggle switch portion through the firewall, and mount to the location of your choice! Unfortunately, we do not have brackets to mount an SS30 in the upper portion of the 4Runner grille. This is due to interference on certain trims. Sorry about that!
We test all of our custom engineered brackets extensively for quality assurance and reliability. They have been CAD-designed by our engineering team to install using factory mounting points and include a powder-coated stainless steel finish for a secure fit and finish!
I think the hood latch may be in the way in the top part of the grill for a 30 inch bar. Those of us with 2020 and newer 4Runners have the TSS radar panel in the way on the lower half of the grill.

These will work also with the standard front grille? (the Toyota logo not pro grille)
This kit is compatible with all 2014-2019 trims, but only compatible with 2020-2023 TRD Pro trim package.

The wiring is totally up to you! Just make sure the wiring is away from any hot or moving parts!
