    Love the look of this with the TRD grille, props to you for throwing this all together with some brackets from Home Depot, nice work!

    Thank you for the video, I used your method on a 20inch rough country black series. Very little chrome so it hides better under the hood. I have been looking for a solution for months without having to pay more than the light to mount it. Great video.

    Great video. I am about to do the same install. I purchased the SDHQ mounts. Do you know if those work for the project?
    Mine will be amber from Lasfit. You made it look easy.

    Photographer here. One of the reasons why your bar is so "spotty" is because its behind the grille. It functions just like the grid we would place in front of studio lights.

      So without the grill in front of it it will light up different?

      @@JuskoLord247yeah, the grid of the grill breaks the beam.

      @@Bas-Git didn’t break it. Instead it combined the focus in the middle.

    How’s this holding up for you? Your video was spot on man. Got mine installed with no problems. Also have you been through the car wash with it?

    Could you take a night pic to see how wide it throws without any of your lights on? I appreciate your video...

    I want to confirm. You bought 20" light bar, correct? Lasfit now selling a 22". From watching video, it seems as if a 22" may work. What are your thoughts?

    A little surprise that you had to buy the hardware and really surprised that you had to buy the wiring, as far as installation goes you only showed the easy part someone like myself I really needed to see how the wiring part goes

    Hi, i have one particular question. I saw that about two years Ago you have upgraded your stock battery (flooded lead acid) to an AGM one. Eversince, Did you have any issues at all charging it only with your standard alternator ? It is working just fine for two years now with no difficulties on starting the car and with no modifications or ECU reprograming ?
    Also, how much voltage does your car put out when u first cold start it ? 14.2V or anytging above ex:14.6V etc.. ?
    Thank you in advance for your reply, this gonna be helpful for me!

      2 years and zero issues. I don't monitor voltage so can't give that info but I can tell you it sat parked at the airport for a week and had zero issues starting like normal.

      @TwistedJake  Рік тому

      @@kd4kzz I used a 20" which I do not see listed any more. I'm pretty sure a 22" would fit as well.

    What relay box is that you wired it up to?

    • @TwistedJake
      @TwistedJake  2 роки тому +1

      It's a 6 switch box from Slim's Depot. Doesn't break the bank and works great. Uses normal fuses and Bosch relays so if something ever goes haywire it can be fixed.

    Better not use it on the road.. They are good enough for rural area but it would blind everyone on coming.
    It even blinding me on this vid facing the light bar, you probably way taller than the light bar and still blinding me looking at this vid.
    Please do not use it
