Great review! I was thinking to buy this monitor and after all of your info I've decided to get it today. I've found the newer GB.....-B5 with the only difference of a little less power in stand-by (0.3W against 0.5W which is something negligible) and I think the stand is slightly different. The most important part: 399€ (352£) so with that price it's a perfect monitor.
don't quote me on this, but i think i read somewhere that iiyama uses the same stands for multiple monitor models, so it probably supports rotating for the 16:9 models, but the stand might be too short for the 21:9 models, so you might accidentally bump the panel onto you desk if you try to rotate it.
Great review, I wonder what the difference between this B1 model is and the B5 model that is for sale nowadays, I see they list the peak brightness at 550 cdm2, other than that it seems too similair in the specsheets
As far as I could gather the b5 and b1 are the same in terms of hardware, except the different stand. They may have tweaked the od settings etc but would have thought a b1 running the same firmware would behave the same. The difference in listed stats, peak bright, power use in stand-by etc could just represent a different policy in how they calculate or stretch the truth in their marketing. I have no actual experience of either monitor. So my opinion is only based on reddit chats about them, google translated reviews of b5 and so on. I too would like to see better reviews of the b5.
Did You really test this game on this Iiyama? 😅🤣I'm going to buy one of 21:9 monitors soon and Hunt: Showdown is my main game! (¬‿¬) I guess that VA panel in GB3467WQSU-B1 looks terrible with all these ingame details? I was really wondering how it works in this game :P

@@mattclifford2120 Same monitor, B5 just has a different stand, in my opinion worse than B1 version. It can be raised a fw centimeners more but it lost swivel and takes up more space on the desk. Iiyama did a similar "refresh" on some other models too, if the model number ends with B5 it has a new stand, same as in this video. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.
A quick question. How long do you have the monitor on and getting warmed up before taking UFO pics and testing response times. It always amazes me how much lcd panels improve when they have been used for a few hrs or more. The other day when i was testing something on my odyssey G7 it had some dark trailing on the darker UFO when on for 15 minutes but when i tested later after hours of gaming that had disappeared completely and even had some inverse ghosting slightly and looked really clean and clear. I just wondered if reviewers take this into account and measure after a set on time for each product to make it a fair comparison. Thanks for another great review.
Thank you for your extensive reviews. What I would like to know for especially VA panels mainly used for gaming in low ambient light, how these panels handle black smear. Currently looking for a 34 inch ultrawide gaming monitor for a mainly low light ambient environment in the 300 a 400 euro price range. Any advice what panels are currently best suited for that?

I'm looking at monitors around this price range. I first wanted to get the LG 34WP65C-B but then I found out that wasn't bright at all which might be a problem since I have a window behind my monitor.
