This monitor is fantastic. The only good widescreen monitor under £400. The rest don't come close

How would you stack this up to the Lg 35wn75cn-b Best Buy has that on sale for $40 more but it has the type c and usb ports I so desperately need. It’s not a in stock item in store or I would have grabbed it and done a side by side. TIA

I have ordered mine it's coming in 2 days. Ill take ur advice on the settings, i am having nvidia 3080 ti version, and ill set the monitor to gaming mode, level 3 overdrive and mprt to level 2 since g sync won't work.

So i got my monitor today , and i have used adaptive sync + all the nvidia controls you are said, is there any way i can stop the flickering while for ex league of legends is in the loading screen ?
i had the omen IPS 27 froma few years back and just swapped them for the qhd 27s, handing one away so Im looking at this. My major hang up os the gsync compatibility.
Thank you for a thorough and honest review! I ended up buying this ultrawide monitor (mainly for productivity). I bought it for $349.99 USD since it was on sale at Best Buy. No way would I buy this monitor at full price (which is a whopping $479.99 USD!). And unfortunately, I too was unable to get Adaptive Freesync or Gsync to work properly with my 4090 (it just adds insane flickering even with the framerate capped). Aside from that, great monitor as long as my expectations are realistic.

I play on a PS5, and would like to know if I can get a dp-hdmi converter? Something that can convert to my console. I really like the price tag, and would like to get the full hz.
That's not going to be plausible
Thats not how that works. The PS5 is capped to 120hz and cannot go higher, also an UW for console is useless. It just stretches the screen or goes into a 16:9 box.
Is there a possible fix for the Freesync to Nvidia GPU Flickering issue? I bought it yesterday and it's very prominent.

So With HDMI you don't get the 165Hz? and does this monitor come with the display port cables for 165Hz?
Not sure if it comes with the cable, but it probably does!

I've just purchased this monitor and I'm running it with my xbox series x but in struggle with the settings, I can't get it to run 1440p with 120hz, it only allows 60hz at 1080p, can anyone help?

U can’t get 120 hz no matter what if a monitor does not have a hdmi 2.1 which the cheapest monitor is around $600 that provides that I was just going through this struggle I said screw that 60 hz it is.
You need the correct cable... Displayport 1.2/1.4

At the end of the day as you are a CS player (which means you will be super sensitive to this) I'm more enclined to trust your review over theirs, but still it's confusing...

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me and potentially save me a lot of time trying each option.
I have the omen 34c and other than picture mode which I have set to Gaming mode
These are my only settings

Contrast
MPRT
adaptive sync
response time
What are the best setting for high response gaming for games such as CS, cod, valerant etc?
I Can't see any where stating overdrive modes.
Any help would be appreciated.

Bought it 1 week ago, and selling it now, response time and motion calarity is bad. Gsync doesnt work with mprt settings. Totally disappointed of it performance, previously used Gigabyte G34wqca which had better motion response time in my opinion, now switching to a regular 27inch 1440p 360hz, Btw I bought this hp monitor after watching ur review.

there are bad 240hz monitors and there are bad 165 hz monitors, a 165 hz monitor can be better then a 240hz monitor.

@@TotallydubbedHDi can find at least couple reasons; the brightness with Mprt is really low, it's around half of the X34s brightness when Mprt is enabled. G sync causes jitter.
@@OneDollaBill well, MPRT isn't for everyone (and arguably a bit redundant on an ultrawide) but the G-Sync is a fair point.
I think the x34 has been discontinued, its in stock nowhere (even the hp website) at least in the states. Shame because I love mine.

My omen 34c has much worse ghosting, lvl 2 and 3 have no difference, it is optimal only at lvl 4 but it is much worse than yours. My lvl 4 look like your lvl 1. I have no idea what this is about but watch out for it my FW Version: 1.50.4.0, HW Revision: A1VT1121
