- Today we are taking a look at the MDX Type S Advance. This is one of my favorite color combinations, Liquid Carbon Metallic with Red interior!

Owned GM for 27 years. GM just burned me badly on warranty policy. I've never ever ever owned an import before but I gotta admit, this one excites me. It's on my finalist list.
But acuras are made in the states.

The only thing that hold me back from buying is the non-touch screen. Should have both options with touch screen and touch pad. The Acura Engineer never listen to people complaining about the non-touch screen from Lexus RX and previous Acura versions. It's easier to just use the touch screen than the touch pad.

It is beautiful, but for example, I’d like it to have light interior colour or brown. Don’t understand Acura limitation in choosing interior colour depending on exterior colour
I'm currently driving a TLX Aspec loaner since my 13' ILX is in the shop awaiting service. I must say the TLX is peppy and a great looker. I thinking about trading my ILX for a MDX Type-S. I saw a black on black one at the dealership. I said to myself that's my MDX 😍.
I've got the 21 TLX type s & I've sure been enjoying it & the MDX type s is a really good looking SUV

Great review. I have been interested for a while in purchasing one. Built one exactly like this today at the online purchase link that Hall Acura in Va Beach sent me. It came in at MSRP 74k and they said they would sell it to me for 83k. I can't go for that.
It's a beautiful car, but consider the (excessive) use of piano black on the interior. It's cheap, shows dust/fingerprints and scratches way too easily. That's just not a look I want to have in a luxury vehicle- much cheaper Hondas have it too.
At that price range there are other perhaps better options out there. Wait it out if you can till the car market gets better and you’ll get more bang for your buck
You did the best review so far on the mdx.. now we have wait for the price to drop or next yrs model to fix any first yr issues.
$70.000 is too deep for the 99 percent.. thanks again. I own the acura zdx advance.. and the Acura Rl aspec. So if i was replaced it would be the type s advance. But not With Gas 5.00 ++ a gallon.. keep up great reviews
I agree with you! $70,000 is encroaching on BMW and Mercedes prices. I love this car and let’s face it, if you buy it, you probably won’t have any issues until after 250,000 miles. Still, 70,000 is steep

They've been cool if you would have done the vehicle showing outside so you had better light. And so we could see I guess these LED door lights that are in the door or ambient door lights Now I got to go fight a video that I can see that with

Love that beautiful paint color. Just NOT the ugly back side tailgate which makes no sense and could've been an extra cargo space had they not made it slanted taking out the extra space in interiorwise.

Yes! In the vehicle settings you can adjust the parking height

Why no spare tire? Hope that doesn't mean it rolls on run flats.
The way the exhaust is placed underneath it would not able to fit one. No run flats on Acura

Me and my wife saw a Black 2023 MDX non type S and it looks really nice. I like the type S a lot but I cannot see paying an extra 10-11K for a few accents and a turbo charger

Outside of the east coast pretty much the rest of the US is 91 octane for premium with the occasional station having 93
Too much for my blood😂😂 . It really is a great vehicle but the price and the 17mpg isn't worth it to me. And it's funny, this is a rich man's car but at the same time people who can afford this car probably wouldn't go for it not because of the look but the gas mileage and the infotainment screen that's not even touch screen. But then again this is just my opinion
