This man sheikh Murad Abdul Hakim is a giant in the Muslim world... beautifully spoken brother in the English language.....I'm honoured that he is Muslim.....
In the breaking of dawn The passing of the night The rising of the Sun And the hymming of sparrows I saw you Allah In the drops of rain The sprouting of seeds The blooming of the rose And the scents of Spring I saw you Allah In the union of marriage The signs of conception The endurance of a mother And the birth of a child I saw you Allah In the play of the toddler The passions of youth The dedication of a father And the shield of morality I saw you Allah In the trials of life The soreness of the heart The weakness of limbs And the consolement from prayer I saw you Allah In the leaving of the day The glory of the moon In the final breath And the tears of the family I saw you Allah In the calling of the cockeral The lamenting of the dogs The harkening of the blackbird And the silence of the wind I saw you Allah As I overheard the compelling warning "O mankind hasten towards good Lest death soon overtakes you"
I was listening to this while looking at the beautiful clouds (ma Sha Allah), blue sky, wind blowing through the beautiful colorful trees and making them sway, and the bright green grass - and I cried.
Do not grieve, my child Look around and you will see, That the sky is still blue And the sun still shines And the birds still sing the praises of Allah And the evergreen flowers still kindly bloom And when darkness falls, the night awakens By the glorious moon and the twinkling stars And the breeze still blows to clear the air The trees still shed leaves to enrich the earth The rain still falls and the rivers still flow And the grass is still fresh and green The hens still lay the gorgeous eggs And the cows still provide the nourishing milk And the cat still purrs, while the dog still barks And the female still carries the miracle As the babies still cry and suckle And when I smile at you You smile back to me So ponder upon the beautiful creation of our Lord At the break of dawn and the coming of dusk For in contemplation and remembrance of Allah The Creation finds the sanctuary And our faith is surely strengthened While our hearts rest in peace And whilst you read the Kalimah beloved The world will not reach the end
Barak Allahu feek Sheikh Abdal Hakim, you always amaze us with your deep sermons. I have learnt a lot since I have known you. Can't thank you enough for this. Whenever I listen to our brother giving Khutbah I am reminded of Surah Luqmaan when he is exhorting his son…. In such a calm way “o my dear son”.I can listen Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad talk all day and still want more.He is indeed a teacher who I wish I had when I was in school…
Sheykh you are worthy to carry the banner of Malikiyyah within Britain.. I would love one day for you to give lectures in Algeria, because we need a reminder of this great legacy which you are such a good representative of. Insha Allah
"Allah is always calling us to what is beautiful, loving and amazing in every situation. That's the gift of the deen." THIS is how you reach, move and touch hearts mashaAllah.
I do not know how many times I have listened to this talk. It has a something about it, I do not know if it is a fragrance or a ring to it that I keep coming back to it.
The peace exuded from this amazing soul, this voice, is something I find soothing to my soul. I really can't express the absolute calm I feel just listening to great Murad. His topics are so exotic and esoteric. "The Gift of Death", "Shadows on the Soul", etc. May Allah preserve you my noble Sheikh.
I have been listening the lecture from wonderful shayk Abdal Hakim Murad for months. it is always inspiring, encouraging me to praise Allah subhanautaala and be more closer to Him..Amiin yarabalallamin. Thank you so much for guiding me slowly into Islam. May Allah grand you Jannah. Amiin, Greeting from Sydney
Truly Islam is universal in that Persian poetry was lifted up to heights not attained by Arab poetry after the advent of Islam. The Sheik’s recitation and translation of Rumi’s poems was surprising and beautiful.

But why do you think there’s a contradiction between the coffee-shop setup and the park hangout? I think these are two beautiful abstracts, hence the appeal they both have for virtually different reasons. The coffee shop has the quietness, coffee beans odour, a lovely working/ reading space, etc.. The park on the other hand would have the natural outdoor greenery odour and fresh air, surrounded by various living things, etc. Perhaps we need to reinterpret the beauty of modernity and realise there’s not a clash all the time between modern ways of living and beauty.

Quiet a Philosophical talk it seems but wouldn’t it be appropriate to sum up what our Holy Book Qur’an says about poets in Chapter Shuraa/ The Poets ? I consider myself an immature poet but when I read what Allah says about poets , I started to ponder & rethink the reason why some of those who love poetry so immensely do sometimes go to extremes in it & this way, without realization, they drift towards extremes of certain notions… of the worldly than focusing mainly to The Supreme Submissive Devotion of The Almighty God, “ Allah “ . 🌹👍🏻💫

It's "Becoming slaves that are forbidden to use reason and critical thinking," .. blindly following their Imams, and forbidden to have doubts, because, it's either legal or illegal, and there's no moral law in Islam, only Shariah, a political and juristic system that covers everything, even how you go to toilet. You're just in a prison that kills you, by the apostasy law of Shariah, the only law-system that Muslims are obliged to follow. And, they must not tell about Sharia, only about the Quran, which has been abrogated for the Sharia that dominates. Three prayers in the Quran, but 5 in the hadith. Only that is a contradiction if Quran is the only book to follow. That's the top of the iceberg.
Mixing up men and women, no segregation. Women without hijab. This we can expect from the Sufi Shaykh of Cambridge, England sadly. No dhikr dancing because that's kept for the evening session. Extremely sad. Inalilahi wa ina ilayhi raji'oon.

In the breaking of dawn
The passing of the night
The rising of the Sun
And the hymming of sparrows
I saw you Allah
In the drops of rain
The sprouting of seeds
The blooming of the rose
And the scents of Spring
I saw you Allah
In the union of marriage
The signs of conception
The endurance of a mother
And the birth of a child
I saw you Allah
In the play of the toddler
The passions of youth
The dedication of a father
And the shield of morality
I saw you Allah
In the trials of life
The soreness of the heart
The weakness of limbs
And the consolement from prayer
I saw you Allah
In the leaving of the day
The glory of the moon
In the final breath
And the tears of the family
I saw you Allah
In the calling of the cockeral
The lamenting of the dogs
The harkening of the blackbird
And the silence of the wind
I saw you Allah
As I overheard the compelling warning
"O mankind hasten towards good
Lest death soon overtakes you"

MashaAllah beautiful
♥️
♥️
I was listening to this while looking at the beautiful clouds (ma Sha Allah), blue sky, wind blowing through the beautiful colorful trees and making them sway, and the bright green grass - and I cried.
Do not grieve, my child
Look around and you will see,
That the sky is still blue
And the sun still shines
And the birds still sing the praises of Allah
And the evergreen flowers still kindly bloom
And when darkness falls, the night awakens
By the glorious moon and the twinkling stars
And the breeze still blows to clear the air
The trees still shed leaves to enrich the earth
The rain still falls and the rivers still flow
And the grass is still fresh and green
The hens still lay the gorgeous eggs
And the cows still provide the nourishing milk
And the cat still purrs, while the dog still barks
And the female still carries the miracle
As the babies still cry and suckle
And when I smile at you
You smile back to me
So ponder upon the beautiful creation of our Lord
At the break of dawn and the coming of dusk
For in contemplation and remembrance of Allah
The Creation finds the sanctuary
And our faith is surely strengthened
While our hearts rest in peace
And whilst you read the Kalimah beloved
The world will not reach the end
MashaAllah, this is beautiful. Are you the author?
Thanks for this beauty .
Beautiful
Where do we find your poems?
I could listen to Mr. Winter for hours on end. Brilliant!!!
I thought I spoke English before listening to this 😅. May Allah increase you!
Barak Allahu feek Sheikh Abdal Hakim, you always amaze us with your deep sermons. I have learnt a lot since I have known you. Can't thank you enough for this.
You are a treasure to this Ummah, I wish more people would know you. Unfortunately in the Arab world they don't know you. I wish my people (Arabs) would listen to you and benefit from you. The majority of our sheikhs in the Arab world have ancient mentality, and very traditional mindset they seem lost to what's happening in the world. That's why if the young generation does not find the answers within Islam they will eventually look it outside of Islam. Alhamdulilah today we have youtube and Muslim scholars like you are doing the job to try and answer the current age problems with an open eye view of the world.
I never thought about why the Quran doesn’t mention seasons or the solar calendar. Insightful as always from Sheikh on this topic.
This lecture reconciles me with my ownerself
I know he's a huge scholar of our time.... But I proper love his amazing dry wit , which allot of people maybe don't get

Beautiful,talk, yaa Sheikh.
“If there where only sunshine in the world, and no rain, then all of the world would be a desert.”
Now this is more like my level of consciousness, finally. Thanks so much, sir.
Sheikh Abdul Hakeem Murad is one of the few remaining pure hearted, clear minded, trustworthy Muslim educators. Mashallah wa alhamdulillah
akin to breathing pure unpoluted fresh air !!! Such a gift to us all MACHALLAH Sh, Abdal Hakim Murad

O my sons
Do not fear poverty
For Allah is the sustainer
And the provider
Keep repenting
And send abundant daruud
On Muhammad Rasoollullah ﷺ
Recite surah Wa'kiyah daily
And feed the people
Learn the arts
Of living off grid
How to rear livestock
And plant and harvest
Do not just totally rely
On the national system
Which may collapse
At anytime
Learn about foraging
From the blessings
Of free natural food
And medicinal herbs
Provided by the mercy
Of Allah
All around you
For survival
Keep fit and build strength
Practice self defence
And be the soldier
For the weak and defenseless
And the voice
For the voiceless
Feed the poor and needy
And spend kindly
On family and relatives
The more you are generous
The more Allah
Will bestow upon you
Except on extravagance
Form a community
Of like minded Muslims
And when Imaan and lives
Are endangered
Leave the West
Obtain a few goats and hens
And go towards the mountains
Thank you for the beautiful poems. You are indeed talented.
Brilliant and uplifting!!
May Allah bless you... We need to reconnect with Allah, and muslims has soo mach neglected spirituality through nature... It's soo sad... May Allah bring us back to wisdom and serenity...

Come my child
Don't be so sad
Close your eyes
And ponder a while
Let's go to a place
Where forever is joy
And love is real
Where the sun never sets
And darkness doesn't fall
In the gardens of bliss
Where saffron is grass
Where the rivers flow
Of milk and honey
Water and wine
Awaiting your beckoning
By the staff in your hand
Come my child
Don't be so sad
Close your eyes
And ponder a while
Let's go to a place
Where forever is joy
And love is real
Where are mountains of musk
With valleys of rubies and pearls
Where trees are without thorns
That bend down to serve
Where flowers and fruit
Are piled upon pile
And where the leaves rustle
To the fragrant breeze
Melodiously enchanting, the dwellers within
Come my child
Don't be so sad
Close your eyes
And ponder a while
Let's go to a place
Where forever is joy
And love is real
Where the gates are eight
For the actions on earth
Where palaces are made
Of gold and silver
And others of a single pearl
And many decorated
With diamonds and emeralds
Garnets and rubies
Where the thrones are raised
Couches are adorned
And where everyone smiles
Come my child
Don't be so sad
Close your eyes
And ponder a while
Let's go to a place
Where forever is joy
And love is real
Where there is no argument or pain
Nor calamity sorrow or death
Where no one cries or sheds a tear
Where there are beautiful companions
With lustrous eyes
And pearl like boys that never grow
Where the angels bring gifts, and salaam and salaam
In the home of peace
And when you will gaze at the LORD most high
And when you will gaze at the LORD most high
Only then will you understand
And only then will you understand

I love the shaykh, but shouldnt men and women be seated separately? As a bachelor, this seating configuration would be rather difficult for me.
i love Shaykh AHM but it seems he does not appear to implement gender segregation in his gatherings, I've pointed this out previously as well.
Why should they be?
