like an anchor in a storm!
Sheikh Abdul Hakeem Murad is an unknown ocean of knowledge and wisdom mashaAllah. For me he is Alghazzali of our time mashaAllah, but people still don't know it.
Absolutely breathtaking the way you observe and articulate. With Contemporary facts, Historical evidences, Revelation, and subtle and humourous digs , you make the argument so sublime. It feels so obvious.
At the same time, you balance your case with Hikmah and tell us to see good in others. The subtle Sirat-al-Mustaqeem as you call it.
These videos are really a show to watch.
May Allah bless you with the best blessings, and make the Ummah apply these teachings.
MashaAllah, Shaykh Abdalhakim is a blessing to the ummah. He’s indeed an ocean of knowledge of the both worlds. May Allah preserve him, increase him and bless his family. Alhamdulillah Ala ni’imatul islam.
From across the oceans Ya Shaykh, I wait for your every lecture and Hang on your every word. You educate and help Muslims make sense of their world. Only Allah swt can reward your efforts here in the Dunya and later on in Aakhirah. May Allah swt give you Sihhah wal Aafiyah always. May Allah swt always keep your mind sharp and your presence felt.
May Allah preserve you. You are the al-Ghazaly of our times. Your talks and your reflections and articulation of them is a cure for the mind in these maddening times.

We are in the era of scams, and the biggest scam trending is robbing ourselves of a future based on a now is better, and later is relative. May SWT guide us and strengthen to handle such hypocritical society
What unmatched ability to communicate the sheikh has, describing imagery, portraits etc as:
'A potentially blasphemous underestimation of the message, the witnessing that is supplied by the actual presence of another human being.'

All the worst things seem to come out of France, at least from the Enlightenment (so-called) on wards. Every generalisation admits of exceptions of course but as a generalisation I think its not completely untrue.
And the reason for this is the destructive effects of religion through communal wars in Europe. The Church was allied to the monarchy and gave carte blanche to all sorts of egregious behaviour. The same can be said of the court scholars of the Ottomans

Brilliant Talk !
I think this has a lot to do with the loss / delay of marriage in Western culture. Taking care of a child is large imposition on personal liberty, so only those who passionately want children will meander into it.
I think marriage already puts some constraint on personal liberty, and then having children is seen differently, as a way of elevating what is already being cultivated.
@@dawudqadri7295 there is certainly no incentive to replicate one’s DNA when you are living under a secular society. The proliferation of soul destroying industries and a worship of end stage capitalism has made the family unit obsolete, instead perusing worship of the flesh and worldly possessions. This runs far deeper than I can comprehend. It is like a parasitical disease, proliferated through the Bretton wood’s system and slowly but surely reaching a cultural implosion.

Elon Musk's issue regarding birth rates has to do with the reduction of white birth rates. Also, a lot of these Western traditional religious thinkings revolve around wishing a reinstitution of roles determined by gender. The reduction in testosterone and increase in chronic diseases has a lot to do with obesity, a consequence of consumerism. I do get rather tired of hiding these wishes within a morass of tangentially related stuff.
Volcanic eruptions of debauchery and sin coming out of the Paris Olympics. Yes I saw the billowing smoke and ran the other way! Great talk Prof. Winter!

I watched a lot of this and wasn't convinced that declining human populations is a problem. It is a possible contributor to alleviating the mass extinction of non-humans. Anyway, we are all stuck in yet another age where people use non-solutions to solve nonexistent problems. There's not much to do about it. Allahu akbar.
