Nice video! I can recommend lasing for distance before creating the mark point. This is especially important when targeting vehicles and larger objects. The TGP always points to the location on the ground, provided by the INS. If you target a vehicle or object, the pod is actually marking the ground behind it. It can introduce a significant lateral difference. By lasing, you correct this distance. You can actually see the coordinates jump to adjust to the precise location of the vehicle.
Toward's the middle of the range would be ideal, but for the Hog it really doesn't matter that much. The hog doesn't have DLZs for JDAMs like the Hornet and Harrier do now so... you just have to fudge it.
It under the UFC tab in the control setting - 'UFC STEER' up or down to change markers/ steer point which is highlight a yellow box amongst the green/blue
You can't (technically). Your best option is to just skip it and use the next markpoint. Mark points will be automatically overwritten if you make it through the whole alphabet.

Doesn't the lase have a max range of ~10nm though? Gotta get pretty close to adjust the MP
Really good video! I'm still learning the basics, but this is aspirational.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks buddy :)
Heard of that before, thats a nice tactic, you can wipe out a whole FARP that way in one run! I have to try it later. thx for the Video.
Nice video cheers
Is there a specific point when the line begins unwinding that you should drop it? Or is it just any point during its unwinding?

Whats the keybind to switch markpoints? is it by making the HUD soi than pressing DMS forward/back?

How to delete mark points if you screw up the placement or after you wipe out targets?
