I stumbled across your video looking for sources of situational awareness but I need the info in the a-10a and not the C. Yes you have rwr but it really doesn't say a lot. Do you just keep spinning your head around the skys?

If you broadcast SPI, somebody else hooks it, makes it their SPI, then they're using their own selc contained SPI because that's where their SOI is pointed, right? So after that you can move your SPI while still transmitting, and they can get a second target after making a waypoint or a markpoint or something off the first, right? So you could share several points in succession, or does the other person have to hook you every time?

Nice video. Can you connect SADL and link16 so you can share data with hornets and vipers?

To my knowledge, not directly. However that functionality should technically work if ED were to implement it. A-10s and Hornets and Vipers should, theoretically be able to share Datalink information through an AWACS or some other Datalink host.

@@ravagetalon It is implemented after the A10C 2 update, but is still being worked on. It requires an intermediary, like an AWACS or sat link, etc. as in real life. (The intermediary basically acts like a server/translator, taking the link 16 data, converting it and transmitting it to SADL and vise-versa.) At the time I am writing this, it's still a bit clunky, primarily an issue with AI aircraft showing, but player A/C are not. I'm sure it will be fixed in, uh, two weeks..... :)
