This is almost surreal beauty 😍 It looks like pages/ pictures from one of those expensive hardcover books of the nature !!! AMAZING !!! MESMERIZING BEAUTY !!!😍😍😍💖💖💖💜💜💜💜🥁🎵🐉🎤🎶💕💗💞
Thank you so much for doing a walking video with just the sounds of walking, water and wind, with no constant cuts and abrupt scene changes. So nice to feel like I'm taking the walk.
Oh wow ! Thank you !! I never expected to get a reply on this from others ,hoped for it ,though ! Lol. I just got back from my Wales/ England trip this summer & I met many incredibly kind people there !! A very nice lady I chatted with on a bus both ways between Newport ( she got off at Carleon, though ) & Monmouth was Irlene also ,a widow of a Chinese Welsh man . I appreciate this info !! 👍👍🙏🏼💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
This video almost makes me cry !!! As it's too beautiful !!! 😍 What are those beautiful blue flowers there !!? Not bluebells ,what are they !!? So ~~ pretty 😍Thank you so so much for this video !!!! This is my NO.1 fave of yours & my NO.1.favourite walk videos on You Tube by far !!!! OMG !!! 😲 😍🤩💜🥁🎵🐉🎤🎶💕💗💞
It is a magnificent walk that makes you dream!. In the forest, by sometimes dangerous paths because you have to watch where you put your feet!!. And then it's the climb to the sky and it's wonderful wilderness, breathtaking views. The abandoned house, the sheep in the distance, lonely and still this well-marked path but suspended in the air!!. The appearance of the sea is also moving. The eyes only rest on wild and awe-inspiring beauty. And then a house, sheep, hikers resting and life resumes its rights. Really splendid. Thank you Dave 😀😀😀😀😀
If someone asks me if I have been to the Welsh countryside I'm going to say "I sure have...Dave took me there!" LOL Thanks for posting ...very calming after a stressful day. Lovely
Another hidden gem (at least for non-locals), with a water, forest and cool paths combo. Well done walking up that mountain, the view is worth it. If there where no fog on the horizon, we could see even further. Nice walk, thank you.
Where was that sound of water was coming from !!? A stream !?? I wish if you showed it ,too !! Lol.💗💖💕P.S. YAY !!! YOU DID !! 😆 I should had been more patient !!! Lol.🙏
Thank you, I really wanted to share these places as clean and unspoiled as possible. No editing/music/other, just raw walking footage uploaded as is. Glad you are enjoying it!
Amazing and very impressive view from this mountain 😊 I like mountains very much and views like this one 😊 This trip through beautiful forest and climb on the mountain was worth it! 😊
This is so beautiful, Dave! I loved your videos . Such peaceful vibes. Thanks for not editing them and preserving the raw sounds. Love and prayers from India :)
Wow!!! When you walked up that green hill and saw that amazing view, wasn't expecting that, incredible, hope those people at the end gave you a nice cup of tea😀
Gotta be old trash treasure there. I’d dig around doorways up against foundation walls. Also 20/39 feet out along yard wall or walk woods. Dumps of that age ? Bottles would be great! Awesome place!
Just come across this walk. Know the location well, being of the mining history fraternity. I suppose you well know that this high level stretch is, in fact - unlike the 'old' precipice walk - an old tramway laid down to carry ore from the gold levels higher up the mountain. It ultimately terminated at the dressing mill, the ruins of which are just below the road, down the hill a bit further along. Here, some years ago, were two large cast iron "Britten pans" which had heart shaped mullers driven by water power and which ran around to finely crush the ore with a dose of mercury to separate out the actual gold. I have photos of them. They have long gone. Foel Isbri was ransacked by various adits but largely without much success. Sure is a beautiful vantage point up there thanks to the old miners. Brought back pleasant memories of walking with my late wife there in 2013.
Harsh British weather.. These areas get exposed to some really high winds. And rocky stone floors mean the trees don't get there roots deep into the ground. That's my best guess anyway..
Thank you for the peaceful walk. I have looked at other channels but the host tends to chatter constantly. Very distracting. This felt like a lovely hike in nature. I even found myself breathing hard a few times.
Thank you for the comment. I am not a great expert in these matters.. yet. I believe the bit rate of all my videos is 1536kbps. No idea if that is the most optimal for this purpose.. or how I'd change it if it wasn't..
Dave, your video is stunning. Will you please let me use 1 minute of it in my own video? (just as intro). I will mention you in description of corse. In any case - big hug from Moscow Russia)
Easily a good few hundred years I would have to guess? maybe even over a 1000! I know there are some ruins and castles in Wales that date back to the 11th century and earlier.
Stunning views! I can see why it's called one of the Precipice walks. I love the ruined stone houses along the path as well. Looking at the trail online, did you do the full figure eight, or turn around and go back?
I would stay far away from the GoPro brand if you can. Incredibly unusable for this style of content. GoPro is very much geared for extreme use like mountain bike riding etc. I use the pocket 2 now, which has a mini physical gimbal so that the horizon is always level, it is very accurate at what it does. Downside is it is not waterproof.

Great quarantine viewing. Since I can't go outdoors, this is a brilliant way to bring the outdoors in.
Excellent, hope you enjoy and that it isn't too long before the quarantine is over

8/18/2024. What a lovely walk. I was traveling for a week so I didn’t get to jog with your videos. I missed it!
When you climbed to the top of that hill and looked down, it was such a wow moment looking down at the meandering stream.
Thank you so much for doing a walking video with just the sounds of walking, water and wind, with no constant cuts and abrupt scene changes. So nice to feel like I'm taking the walk.
You are so very welcome Nimbusdancing😊
Totally agree! Was just what I needed today ❤️

The perfect treadmill video! So beautiful! Thank you, Dave! 👏

Wow what a walk! The whole walk was magical and so peaceful. Thankyou so much Dave
This one was really fun to film, easily one of my favourites, such brilliant and mesmerizing views from up there!
It’s not just the walk that is magical but your filming. I love the way you have done with no music just the sound of your feet and nature

wow what a beautiful forest, and those trees, growing in a perfect line;-)

Lovely video. Thank you for sharing your walk. I’m not familiar with the area - why are there so many fallen trees?

I too find the constant chatter to be tedious to hear, hence the idea on my channel to just let the views to all the talking. 😊👍
magnificent.
Very nice immersive video Dave. Love your nature walks. Can I ask at what bitrate you are uploading with the GH5?

Wonder how long the house at 18:13 has been abandoned for?

Yeah definitely!

Just a circle route, got back to the main road after the precipice walk, back to the car park in the nearby town.
I walked with you...I loved it! 💛
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Magnifique
Who trims the path? I can’t get over the view. Where is this?
unfortunately I have no idea who trims the path. It's in Wales and the view is looking towards Barmouth :)
Looks like a tree plantation with spaced trees in rows. Also, too many 'widow makers' being held up by branches. Not safe in a storm.
What a camera you can use on walking around? GoPro or camera with tripod?
I would stay far away from the GoPro brand if you can. Incredibly unusable for this style of content. @@DavesWalks awesome, thanks man you're my inspiration. You had a good content, I love it
can here wind near the end, but not your breathing. I would be panting after the climb lol!
I pace myself slowly, I try hard not to breath loudly, but I can certainly be heard panting in a few of my videos.
Hiya mate, where did you park?
what3words.com/nicknames.melons.coaster there is a car park here, pay and display I think, and the walk is about 20 mins from here. 😃👍
