One of the my first vivid childhood memories was of my mum taking me for a walk in some bluebell woods. That was over 60 years ago. Your video brought it all back, as if it was yesterday. Mere thanks are not sufficient for this nostaligia hit. Good one Dave. 😌
Ohh I thank you so much! I live in Catalonia, spain, but I lived 3 years in england and I miss it😪... We dont have bluebells here. It has been like if I was there.
Such a lovely, idyllic walk. Thank you for allowing us to hear the peaceful country sounds instead of dubbing in music. I so enjoy the natural sounds of nature and the sound of your footsteps make me feel like I'm on the walk myself. Wish I was there now.
I really like your videos! I am 65 and can’t walk very much these days but when I was younger, I could walk forever! And explore neat places! This is so lovely to be able to explore again! Thanks so much from Connecticut, USA. I used to get to the UK a lot when I was younger.
Maybe it's nostalgia talking, but this, to me, is the quintessential English ramble. Beautiful village, back lane that leads to a path meandering through woodland, fields with sheep, stiles .. I loved it and I've only watched it for 20 minutes. Thank you, Dave, I think it's one of your best yet - and that's saying something.
A carpet of bluebells means it's ancient woodland. You can tell they're native bluebells by the droop, and blue hue. Unfortunatley we can't enjoy their wonderful scent, which is another characteristic of the native species. Lovely video again Dave.
No one does walks better than you Dave! ⭐️ Guaranteed of their quality, smooth delivery and the fact you take your time…. I give them a thumbs up before I even watch them!
You are such a blessing to so many. Imagine what you do for the sick and shut INS and those who can't walk or travel! Please don't stop for you are doing something wonderful 😊
My favorite part is the bluebell forest, of course ;) I believe I just watched a shortened version of this just featuring the bluebell forest? It was with this user id, or my other one. Anyhooo, I loved this video as well and it is all so beautiful 💚💚💚💚💚💚
OMG.. the Bluebells!!! Thank you so much for sharing the walk. I can't wait to visit this year. The Bluebells are among my top places to visit. This has got to be the best UK-England walking YT I've discovered.
Wonderful Vedio. I like your walks.so nice with only natural sound and no added music. Me and my son used to walk regularly long walks in British countryside and woodlands. Now he is grown up and moved from home. Your walks brings back happy memories and feels like I am doing the walk with my son. UK countryside has its unique beauty. Blue bell woods are one of my favourite walks.Every spring I make it a point to walk in a blue bell woodland at least once every year. Best wishes for your UA-cam channel.
Good stuff as usual. I don't mind at all if you chat to some of the folks you meet. That's a normal part of walking in nature in other countries as well. We all say hello to complete strangers. So go ahead and be friendly. The guy standing on the path seemed friendly enough, I hoped you would have had more of an exchange.
Hi! How are you? It is especially summer in Korea/Seoul since yesterday. Already. There was a weather forecast for this summer, but it's faster, longer, and more severe. I'm worried. I wish you good health and good things this week as well. Thank you very much.
What an epic walk Dave! It is very difficult to find a true blue color in nature. Yet you made it look easy! Thank you for allowing us to see this mesmerizing sight up close and personal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wow! This is amazing walk. The result was worth it. Love Bluebell and the nature. I wouldn't do this walk in the forest on my own, even walk in the town park alone I can get lost easily....lol
Very beautiful 😊👍 But where in the UK is it? I can open the Google map, buy I couldn’t find the actual one among the 100 others. Not on the phone anyways… I’m casting the video to the TV. It is very beautiful on a large screen
It is close to Matlock in Derbyshire. I didn't know that clicking the link on a phone/TV zooms you out, that's frustrating to know. On a PC the link zooms you right up to the walk..
Why would anyone want to lose an area like this,?,,yet scenes like this are disappearing fast.its up to people who care to fight for and preserve these places.

Somehow, until you pointed it out, I was completely unaware of the fact there is indeed half a house. I have no idea at all why there is half a house! Most unusual indeed!
It's one half of a semi detached house. The missus wanted us to move to a detached property but I loved the location. So we compromised by buying next door's and knocking it down.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful forest walks - the bluebell forest walk was wonderful -
Thank you ever so much Jasmine! It is hugely appreciated!!
Thank you from someone who would enjoy the walks but can only watch from an armchair.

I can almost die happy now…seeing these, doing a walk like this, is on my bucket list. Thank you ❣️💛✨🌈💙
The bluebells are just glorious!
One of my fondest and most frequent memories of England were the hours I spent walking through and playing in the Bluebell Woods nigh to my home.❤
Woah!! The name doesn't come out of nowhere. There are a ton of Bluebells there, how awesome!
A truly amazing sight of nature ❤carpet of blue in the woods ❤

Nice walk! I imagined yesteryear with more trees and shabbily dressed people following...
Thanks, Dave. These walks keep me connected to my birth country.
Ah that's good to here, happy to be keeping you connected Katie!
I really love these kind of videos to relax myself
Happy to hear it Carlos!😊👍

I live close to a bluebell wood in Worcestershire here in the Midlands and it’s stunning like this one, especially with toadstools as well.

Breathtaking. Thank you.
what a lovely, leisurely, peaceful walk in the woods. and millions of bluebells! thanks, dave. :)
You are very welcome Hellie, as always 😊👍
Absolutely magical 💚 The only thing I missed was hearing the birds. Maybe they were singing, but it was too low for me to hear. Love this video 💚
The microphone is quite good at picking up bird song, for some reason it was just quiet. Not sure why, wrong time of day perhaps?
This helps me more than I can express. Big part of my "self-care" thank you. Helps tremendously with feeling couped up and unable to go anywhere.
Makes me very happy to be of help!

Excellent video. Blue happens to be my favorite color. Thank you.
A very interesting walk. Great forest, well captured.
What a lovely walk! The trees and flowers look gorgeous. Are sunny days as rare as they say over there? Thank you for sharing!
Probably not quite as rare as people make out.. but there is certainly some truth to it! 😊👍
Nice and beautiful bluebell forest
It certainly is Azam, glad you enjoyed it!

Que lugar fantástico!!!
I like it ❤
Happy to hear!
They look like genuine native bluebells to me thank goodness; there's more than one Clough Woods; are these the Derbyshire ones or one of the others?
Hi, These are in Derbyshire, just next to the village of Winster :)
A child of God in her garden 🪴 of the Lord ❤
It’s said the bluebells in Britain grow well because of the bodies that have fertilised the land. Hence the peace with bird calls
Как всегда🔥👍
Thanks!
Thank you very much Michelle, it is super appreciated!
❤❤❤

In the Peak District, Derbyshire

@@TheRealBoroNut I’m not sure whether you’re joking or whether you’re the actual owner of that house 😂
@@awatercolourist High praise indeed.
we need more forests and less people.
Agreed!
