19:20 It was not about the octopus being a good person, but about his integrity. The fact that he wasn't willing to sell out his comrades abilities and that he didn't give Killua a reason to think he enjoys more cruelty than necessary. What will you do when you meet an ant that cares about it's comrades?" That's basically what's going on with Killua here, he doesn't want to kill anyone he sees the potential for good in anymore. He's long regretted his assassin past, that has been clear ever since the hunter exam arc. In this arc the yin and yang aspect of Killua and Gon is becoming really interesting. Gon is a shining bright light, but in reality he's filled with darkness and has great potential for evil. Killua is a cold blooded killer, but in reality he's filled with light and is literally the most kindhearted, pure person in the show imo.
this is so obvious. it baffles me when this guy is so clueless to why Killua spared Ikalgo's life. i wonder if he's a robot. shocking...!!! it was all spelled out and he's still fucking blind to every sensibility of this show. Ikalgo has dignity. he won't betray his comrades. he's rather sacrifice himself. he'd much rather be dead than be a fucking snitch. he adores beauty ( the squid) and has romanticism within him. he's portrayed to be an eccentric, neurotic, loyal, full of characters and personalities. Killua admires loyalty in a creature. loyalty and dignity. Killua has that duality, and so is Ikalgo. they are multifaceted.
For an assassin to master darts is not something that is unexpected or random since they have to learn to throw small projectiles to kill their targets from a far distance
One thing i still love about HxH is that being extremely powerful doesn't always matter, bad matchups can happen. Its all about experience and how you use your technique. It links back well to what Morel said to Killua after he fled the NGL with a knocked out Gon.
Example, look at Kurapika in a way. I know his situation is different but he should not be able to handle any of the troupe normally. He just has a set of skills that he can use, that can help him overpower them. And even then it's not like he can win all the time

“The old days of gaming” we used to blow on Nintendo cartridges for 3 console generations, NES, SNES, and N64. Also, Destiny 1 being way better for PvP than D2 is accurate
Yeah, other than Hisoka, Killua is probably my favorite character, _but_ the manga did make me put Kurapika above even that. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I'll even take it a step further and say he's better than any of the Yuyu Hakusho mains that people put on a pedestal (for good reason). Destiny 2 is better in pretty much every way but the nostalgia factor of D1 is too great. Plus the atmosphere of D1 was more mysterious and dark compared to now
If these last few episodes isn't what you expected from this show then you're probably not ready for the coming episodes lol don't expect too much of it to be like the usual shows you've been watching before this because HxH is not the conventional shounen anime, to be honest.
I don't think they'll end up rating this anime highly (especially Carter). Especially considering the fact that the last arc isn't necessarily a favorite amongst general audiences. If they're struggling with the Chimera arc, ultimately I think they'll rate the anime 6/10. Obvs Brig, Jackson and McCay are fans and will be till the end I think.
Not sure if its because its Carters house/channel or if hes just a loud person, but hes being very nitpicky to the point as a viewer it seems to be dragging the other boys moods down.. He might still be more an anime hater than not if he thinks this badly of the arc, especially with how normie AOT is and it being their favorite anime. Rumor has it there was a lukewarm response to the Zabuza arc in Naruto as well.. If you don't enjoy world building and slow buildups i can say for sure they will HATE One Piece. Just trust the process and try to be open minded, the good parts are still gonna come, be patient and enjoy the journey cause once it is over you will wish there was more.
I Don't blame him. Especially when you have a million donkeys in the comments hyping up this arc and acting like it doesn't have slow ass trash moments that could put a man to sleep for 12 hours straight. He'll like aspects of the arc but the overall structure he is going to HATE. Plenty of reactors have felt the same way about chimera. It isn't universally loved like yorknew where you make a safe bet that everyone is going to think it's a banger
This arc is one of my favorites just because of a couple of storylines, but all the other crap is a waste of time, bad pacing and bad writing. This arc is too stretched out, many unnecessary storylines and scenes. Carter is right in his critique of this arc and in general this anime. Not much happens in episodes compared to AOT and other more compactly written stuff. This is why I think, they will not enjoy the big three as much, they have more to explore. I remembered Naruto to be very good because it was the first anime I watched and rewatched many times, but now that I rewatched it with Studio Gek reactions after many years, I see so many plot holes, illogical fights and overhyped scenes, childish "anime" tropes that irritate me (despite watching about 15k episodes, tracked on Myanimelist). So I think they should rather watch popular but highly rated stuff, to balance views and good story. Some popular shows aren't that good, and some very good shows aren't popular, so they will receive small amounts of views :)
Yes. He's also prone to asking very dumb questions with confidence. And saying very dumb things. Why is it that people who watch anime are always so dim? HxH is great (and so are a lot of other shows) but I always see it ruined by people not understanding character motivations and plots. No wonder people make fun of anime, because most people who do watch it have zero attention span, think like children, and have no concept of complex characters or plot. I can't even listen to them talk sometimes lol..."LIKE, LIKE, LIKE'.... as though they never learned how to articulate.
These couple of episodes were slow, kinda meandering, but it's just two episodes. And still interesting things happens. Soon a certain character is coming so things will become even more exciting. Let it cook, the payoff is amazing.

Og naruto is only 100 ish without filler and shippuden is like 300
Destiny 2 is better in pretty much every way but the nostalgia factor of D1 is too great. Plus the atmosphere of D1 was more mysterious and dark compared to now
Nah D2 sucks 🙁
At least the crucible side
Where is the reaction of 102 & 103
Viewers are getting tired of inconsistent uploads 😭
If these last few episodes isn't what you expected from this show then you're probably not ready for the coming episodes lol don't expect too much of it to be like the usual shows you've been watching before this because HxH is not the conventional shounen anime, to be honest.
Starting to be a drag how often they have bad takes and/or lack of understanding, and just not thinking about things since CA arc started
@@armstrongQB1 Yeah. Pretty unfortunate. Luckily there's 3 others doing HxH I'm currently watching as well
let me see lm reactions and Carlie & Ange and the other one idk@@shaun6038
Solo leveling is soon 🤩✌️
Taco!
They're gonna see gons rage
What??? How is he being nitpicky, if he has a complaint he should be able to voice it. Or would you rather he just not speak his mind?
@saorihirai4492 oh boohoo not everyone kisses the ass of your favourite arc and isn't as pretentious as you. Go cry about it
😁👍
Are the Geks somewhere or why did they didn't react to Solo Leveling?

These couple of episodes were slow, kinda meandering, but it's just two episodes. And still interesting things happens. Soon a certain character is coming so things will become even more exciting.
