I actually just started getting into Ableton finally, so a big thank you for this gamer, hope life has been going well for ya lately fellow old classmate lol :)
Great video. So I find so many people make these videos and the finished product is an 8 bar loop. That’s not a song - we’re all learning to make 8 bar loops but how do you remix a whole song - you need a part B, a breakdown or whatever - I would really love to see more videos that focus on that next part.
That is a really great point. I agree that the whole 8 bar thing is a problem and I don’t want to contribute to people getting stuck in it. In the future I want to make more complete and comprehensive content. Thank you for the support and feedback.
idk what happened to my abelton but everytime I drag in acapellas or samples, they're never in time with the metronome. even when i manually change the warp markers i just cant ever get them in time
It’s not always accurate. I have auto warp turned off in my preferences so I can do it manually. I made this short showing the easiest way to do it manually ua-cam.com/users/shortsTA5U_eIM9cA?feature=share
For free drums check out the free packs that cymatics has. For paid drums I would check out Splice. You can build an amazing collection of sounds really quick with Splice.
Thanks! Now that AI is super big you can actually use some AI websites to make acapellas for free. I like a website called vocal remover because it’s free.
Acapella had an Auto Pan set to do the volume movement instead of pan, Pro Q3, and a stock Ableton reverb. The octave up acapella channel has the same plugins except I added an OTT to really bring it forward.
Just don’t like the vibrating melody Nope not feeling . There is a secret to mixing the tracks it’s easy but most people have no idea and it does work well
Tbh this doesn't sound that good. You made an 8 bar loop and the synths were too bright and not as creative as should have been. Do a complete tutorial next time with better sound design.
I appreciate the constructive criticism. I agree that I definitely could have done better/more. Constantly learning to make better and better content every time. Definitely gonna be looking to make more complete and comprehensive content in the future.
Yay!! This is gonna be good! And you look a lot more comfortable now in your new studio!

Do the same thing for the rest of the song

Ahh an excellent Ableton tutorial 🙏🏾

Great video, supper informative. Wish there was a bit more on what to do if you can't find an Acapella of the song 😊

Wonderful video brother. Thank you so much!
Hi! I just can´t catch how you insert the piano i the "chord"-section? Can you help me?
Thank you!!
Where can I find that 808 bass sample you were using ? Thats dope
It’s from an old cymatics San holo kit that they no longer sell unfortunately
@@kylechumchal ahh bummer, tried to find something like it in ableton but not much luck. Keep up the good work
Hi! I´m following the tutural (but with another song). I´m a beginner, and I was wondering how you know whats your bass line for your song?
Thanks for watching! You can use the bottom note in the chord to make it simple most times but I also encourage you to experiment beyond that.
what 1st application you use
Been on Ableton for a few months now, helpful
I’m sorry maybe I missed it but what did you add on your acapella channel?
Acapella had an Auto Pan set to do the volume movement instead of pan, Pro Q3, and a stock Ableton reverb. The octave up acapella channel has the same plugins except I added an OTT to really bring it forward.
Hi! Where do I find the auto pan effect?
It’s in the Audio Effects category under pitch and modulation
Hi i had a question. Do we need to lower the original music and make beat over it or make beats over the original track??
I download acapellas so I can get the vocals isolated and then I build the beat around just the vocals
I cannot get the damn understanding of this software coming from a mpc live
It’s definitely challenging but very rewarding if you stick with it! The reason it is so complex is because you can do so much with it.
I’m going to keep trying I might get studio one it looks less confusing
9 bar loop ?
🙃
my problem is the sound over powering the vocals am i the only one
But its helpful
Bruh. Turn them synths down
sub thx
