Man, what are you talking about? Glue is not a multiband compressor ) You are equalizing an incoming sidechain signal (which is your incoming audio signal if not routed any other - this is how compressors work). So you are compressing here not only low end, but whole spectrum is compressed by your 39 Hz
Hey bro for the low end compression tip, does it have to be done on the main master channel or can it be done on the individual channel? Does it make a difference? Thanks.
Guido is that really you ? I hardly tell because there is NO drumbuss and not a single reverb channel has been sent into it. Yell if you are kidnapped :D
I’ve just created my first song that I’m genuinely proud of. I have never mixed and only tinkered with the affects, where would u suggest I start? It’s got so much going on that I don’t understand or even know what I need to look up. Gets quite overwhelming and very uninspiring.
I have a BA in audio and this is by far one of the best tutorials out there for advanced mixing. I have learnt so much from just this video and it has enabled me to get my mixes onto another level. Thank you Guido !!!
breaking the rules is the best way for happy accidents, refining your music or ideas down to fit all the rules is just going make your generic ...i think that is the best tip (loved the envelop follower thing is amazing
Guido, you are seriously a gem i've been looking for! Great to have found you and I'm gonna look more for your tips and videos! Thank you so much for the inspiration in mixing and I can't wait to learn more and take my work to the next level!
The "quick reverb tip" and demo hellohellohehello also showed you can just thin out the lows to makes something appear more distant - something a record producer told me
what a great viedo and this type of mixing ive been producing for 6 years never leard how to mix , the mapping and the tips about compressor , is exactly what i need thank u !
Thank You very much for Your videos and all the high quality tips... I am doing Ableton for about six month and the more I learned the more I am feeling like rain man while hearing my productions
Thank you Guido, you are the best explainer for someone like me that is Teaching himself… and that Thing you said at the end is the most important and my life Moto: know the Rules and then break them ….Greatness comes from breaking free from walls and restrictions (Always)
thank you so much for this video wow man. love the personality you bring to this video its very concise but also laid back and comfortable to watch. great job
