  • Andy Phillips shows how to easily replace a broken wheel stud. These can break when lug nuts are too tight and pressure is needed to remove them. Driving with less than the amount required is dangerous; replacing them is needed.

    Very good explanation
    The problem is usually caused by places that repair punctured tires that over tighten the wheel nuts

    Thanks for the instructions broke a stud and was worried I'd have to replace the entire wheel hub 😅

    This man just saved my life, snapped a stud doing a rotation and guess I didn’t know my own strength. Suppose I might need to invest in a torque wrench thingy

      I literally just broke another stud and someone liked my comment so here I am about to replace my studs

    Great job as always. I always use a c clamp prior to removing the caliper. Makes it easier when it is still installed on knuckle. just a little push is all you need. Great video, nice & clear & to the point.
