Saw a comment on your website here and it says “at the end of the day, we’re lazy. “. This is my motto and why I so thoroughly enjoy your videos. What I liked about this comment is that I feel I am lazy, and I procrastinate, and somehow I beat myself up for both, when in reality a lot of the stuff I think I need to get done can wait till another day. So I really liked that comment and it made my day, I just somehow helped that other people feel the same way and I’m not alone in this feeling of laziness. Although on some websites on UA-cam I’ve seen there is a difference between being lazy and being burnt out and just needed rest from whatever you’ve been doing for so many years. So thank you for having such great comments on your website and now I’m going to go make your pizza. I’m so glad I found your channel.
Sarah at ~5:57 slyly wipes off stray crumbs from her pinky finger onto the plate without skipping a beat - I ❤️ your sense of humor and confidence to be you! This is one of the funniest keto recipe videos evah
There is some advantage to using the tortilla because it is easy and it is convenient to have the tortillas on hand to use for other “dirty” meals. I use them frequently for breakfast burritos and the folded panini sandwiches. Good demo! Keepin’ it real! ❤️ I’d like to add a thought. Today I used a cutdacarb sheet, cut in two, to make a layered pizza. Honestly, I see the allure of the product, but I won’t buy any more. I could have done the same thing with low-carb tortillas for fewer carbs and a lot less expensive. This is a journey to find products that work for me - taste-wise, ease of use, and cost.
I love the Mission tortilla pizza crust and so does my family (who are not keto). We are also from Chicago and prefer a really thin, cracker-like crust. Here’s my quick pizza sauce recipe: 6 oz can of tomato paste, 6 oz warm water, tsp of minced garlic, Italian seasoning to taste and if you like a sweet sauce, add a squirt of liquid allulose. Stir to combine and you’re done! I love using fresh mozzarella slices vs shredded and sprinkle thinly sliced basil leaves on top when it comes out of the oven. ♥️
I'm a new subscriber and I have to say that of all the keto channels I watch yours is becoming one of my favorites. I love the idea of making pizza with low carb tortillas. I never thought of that. Can't wait to try it!
We use those tortillas in lots of things. Try this really easy pizza. Cover the bottom of a no stick skillet with pepperoni. Cook it on medium high heat till it starts to brown up. You don't need to stir it. Then cover it with mozzarella cheese then put the tortilla on top. After a minute or 2, try lifting the edges. Whe it comes up all together, flip it over so the tortilla is on the bottom. The oil from the pepperoni and cheese will brown up the crust. Cook to your preference. Done!
I have been making a crust out of canned chicken, 1 egg, and 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese. Definitely takes more time than the tortilla crust but well worth it!.. Great video 🤩
I make a pizza (oven 475 degrees) using 2 cups of riced cauliflower, 2 eggs , with 2 cups shredded mozzarella. Stir together and put on a olive oil greased pizza pan and shape up a crust. Bake 15 minutes. Take out of oven put on sauce and toppings and put back in oven for 10 to 15 minutes. It’s delicious. Sometimes I might add a tablespoon or so of nutritional yeast to flavor it up some. Try it.
Show it who’s boss….lol. After cooking Keto for over 5 yrs I found chicken crust is Mr & my fav. I drain the can, put it in my blender w/egg, cheese & spices which then turns to mush. It’s easy to roll out between parchment paper to precook before adding toppings with hardly any carbs.
You girls need to try the black-tie pizza crust it's a little labor-intensive but so worth it it's the best that I have tried the homemade style anyway. But you right can't go wrong with the tortilla pizza😁
I just made pizza with the Carb Balance tortilla. I used some Raos spaghetti sauce I had on hand. Some leftover sausage crumbled up and some sliced baby bella mushrooms and organic mozzarella cheese. It was soooo good. I love pizza and this hit the spot. I love your recipes. Keep em coming. Thanks for helping your viewers reach their goals like you did.
I use the mission low carb shells for my pizza. I learned to brown them up in a pan before I put the toppings on and bake them, from your original pizza video. What a difference that made! Thanks guys 😁
Always watch, never commented, but this brought me out of the woodwork. Because I love tortilla pizza BUT - since I can afford the carbs/cals/fat (YMMV) I use 2 tortillas, "glued" together with mozzarella, then the toppings. Putting it on a HOT pan, lightly oiled, nets a crispy bottom but still a chewy crust; to me it's all about the bread, whether on pizza or whatever else, and this has both crispy and chewy; the great sauce and toppings I choose are almost a bonus. Just sayin'... Keep up the helpful, entertaining, and creative videos, ladies!
Thanks so much for testing out these products! I've pretty much given up on keto pizza crusts (I'm from Chicagoland). The tortilla is probably the best I've had so I can get my weekly pizza fix! Also, where are you getting your clothes lately?! Every video, I'm like, "I love that top!" You both are looking amazing!
I enjoy your videos so much! I find them helpful with trying the different products and recipes, and inspirational. I have recently been making fresh salsa and using the low carb tortillas to make chips in the air fryer. To try them, cut a tortilla in wedges, lay in single layer in air fryer, lightly spray with avocado oil, lightly sprinkle with sea salt, air fry until lightly browned, about 4 minutes. Yummy!
I just found you guys, and I am already a fan. I enjoy all of your content and really appreciate the fact you encourage us in our journey. I too have been on and off this keto diet rollercoaster. I do hope that this is THE time that I can stick with it. Thanks for being real!!
I started making a keto pizza where I made the crust with Italian sausage. There are times I mix the sausage with things like 80% lean ground beef or Lamb. I top with veggies, cheese, and spaghetti sauce. Sometimes I use home made home canned spaghetti sauce made with heirloom tomatoes. That's a easy recipe too
I transitioned from keto to strict no-dairy, straight up meat and eggs. May go straight meat to do an elimination test soon. And that may sound boring, but since I switched, I really crave beef. Just beef. 😋 Talk about lazy. No meal planning, easy grocery shopping. 😂 But you two are so adorable and make me laugh that I still watch your videos. 👍🏼❤️ And someday, I may start adding things back into my diet. Including keto pizza. 😉
Wow, I was just sitting down with my Mission tortilla Pizza and I turn onto your new video and you're making a Mission tortilla pizza. I put the whole tortilla in the air fryer right on the grate and flip when it gets a little brown. Then once the other side is a little brown I take it out and build my pizza. I use two kinds of cheese, pizza spice and thinly sliced tomatoes instead of sauce. It never disappoints!!!
My personal favorite pizza crust any more is a low carb tortilla, too! Super easy, especially in the air fryer, and soo good! I usually make 2 layers.. bottom tortilla, shredded mozzarella then top tortilla. Air fry for a couple minutes then flip (this way the bottom is crispy!), too with pizza sauce and toppings. Air fry another 5-7 mins. Yum!!! 🍕
Unfortunately, I can't handle the wheat and soy in the Mission tortilla's, so I stay away from those. They cause a great deal of inflammatiion in me. I tend to stick to either the Fathead dough or one of my favorites, pork rind pizza crust. I do also like the chicken crust.
OK keto twins. I have to say I agree with you on the simplicity and ease of the mission low-carb tortilla pizza. I’ve tried a bunch of the crusts from cauliflower to chicken and fat head dough and the tortilla version gets my vote for sure! 👍👍
I ADORE the mission low carb tortillas for my pizza better than ANYTHING I've tried, and I've got my husband, and grandchildren which are non keto, and all of my grown children ADDICTED as well!! Love you guys!
I take 10 oz. of drained canned chicken, 1 egg, 1/4 c. parmesan cheese. Roll it out flat, bake it about 12 min.,add your sauce/toppings, bake for about another 12 min. I use parchment paper. 400 degrees.
Just found you guys, love you both! You remind me of me and my sister. Your comments and commentary are hilarious. Thanks for the inspiration. I’ve been trying to do this keto for a few years now and YOU guys finally made it stick for me! Your hacks are so helpful. Thank you for your existence! 😆❤️
My favorite crust for pizza is to basically make a Quesadilla, two tortillas with whatever cheese you want. Then after it's cooked add the pizza toppings to one side. I like to put it in the toaster oven for a few minutes 😋
Made a pizza "your way" last night !! Will probably never make pizza dough again !! Happen to have the exact same wrap as you too. Came out soo perfect -. Thanks a million !! (Bought ingredients for Crab Rangoon another favorite of mine,)
My favorite pizza dough is a super easy recipe. 1 cup almond flour mixed with 3/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese. Microwave 1 minute, remove, and mix ingredients into a dough. Once it's roughly mixed, dump out and kneed more thoroughly and roll out into a crust and add toppings. Bake at 350° F for approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on how thin you roll out or press your crust.
I love the missions pizza, because it is so thin and I prefer thin crust. You both crack me up. I find your videos so entertaining and I always wind up laughing at something you said or your expressions. Love you guys and thank you for making my day.
Since I saw your original low carb tortilla pizza video months ago, I've been using the Spinach & Herb Carb Balance tortillas to make my pizza, because they're 3 net carbs. I had a long tradition of pizza and wings on a Saturday night, and now with the ability to make my own wings and low-carb pizza, it really helps me keep that fun thing going, but not do so in a way that breaks my keto. It also means I can still make tacos and not feel guilty.
Thanks for your test K Twins, love ya., I have used the Mission lo carb tortillas for wrapping up a hotdog or some burger/cheese mix and they turned out acceptable. Now for pizza, will try them, but, I think I'll put a thin layer of mozzarella UNDERNEATH the tortilla in the pan frying process to give the tortilla a more crisp and chewy bottom. Then precede as you did in the baking of the top with the topping baking process. Atsa soma spicy meata balla !
Ladies, I agree with your assessment. Those Mission low carb tortillas are da bomb! My issue is they’re too good and therefore I crave them. Craving foods on keto isn’t a good thing. It’s dirty keto too. I try to stay away from all seed oils and they have soybean or canola oil in them. Too bad the company couldn’t switch it out for avocado oil. It also has other ingredients which purists would send the keto police out for. I don’t count macros or calories and I really should. I just do the best I can and stay away from sugar and high carb foods. Great video!!!! Thank you!
I made your tortilla pizza today for lunch and it was amazing! You both are correct. It was quick, easy, and delicious. Unfortunately, I didn't have any marinara sauce, but I did have Alfredo sauce, so I made a white pizza. I just added pepperoni and mozzarella cheese, because that's all I had on hand. It really hit the spot, and the "crust" was a perfect combination of soft and crunchy. Thank you for the recipe! 🍕😋❤️
Mission tortias are the bomb and I have never used them for pizza lol! I use them for wraps usually when I need a bread type fix, especially a candied bacon wrap. I'm going to have to do this ASAP!
We use the tortilla for our pizzas but not frequently due to the carb count. Love the taste and fills the desire to have pizza once in a while. We are in maintenance and definitely would agree not to use these treats during weight loss.
I'm still a fan of the Mission tortilla pizza. I've been doing this now and then for months and you cannot beat how quick and easy it is to make, especially if it's just for me. Love these showdowns, ladies!
Have you tried the pork rind crust pizza? My husband's favorite. But you would need to like pork rinds. 1/2 cup crushed pork rinds 1/2 cup parmesen cheese 2 eggs Mix together add whatever seasoning you like. Form into pizza crust on parchment paper, bake at 400 8 min, flip bake 5 min more. Then add toppings and bake until bubbly.
I like the tortilla pizza but if in the mood to cook, I like the Fathead pizza dough as well. Just brush/sprinkle garlic powder etc on the crust while it bakes the first round.
I’m with The Twinzies on this one! Though I have never tried the pizza dough keto mix or the frozen one WHY would I? The Mission Carb Balance tortillas makes super delicious pizza dough. It’s simple, fast and absolutely deeeeelicious!
Now that “ Lent “ started every Friday is pizza 🍕 day I really love @ dr Bergs “ Califlower pizza 2 eggs 2 cups mozerella and 2 cups Califlower rice I use real Califlower and grate it down and mix it really good put parchment on top of pizza pan and pat down mixture really flat I cook it 450 for 20 min then add sauce and toppings put in another 5- 10 min that’s it . I do wish it was more stiff ( I did try a lil zantham gym ) but not noticeable . I really love the taste 🌻🌻🌻
can watch your both all so delightful and although I can't cook and im not keto ,but if you both had a restaurant,id def go there. How are you not on Cabal!?
We love the Mission Carb Balance tortillas for everything under the sun....pizza included. So easy, they never fail us and our Costco stock's them. Go #1! Rock, paper, scissors...Sarah lost to making the Scotty's 🙃I wonder if adding some spices into the dough would make it taste better. Should we start a Go Fund Me page to get Sarah a stand mixer?
Thank you so much for the great video! Not sure if you have tried this, but it’s the Thin Slims pizza crust. I use to make cauliflower crust all the time until I discovered this. Now it’s all I make. I am in maintenance and have pizza probably twice a week and try all different toppings. Thin slims also has great bagels and a honey bread that is pretty decent. Only problem is you have to order from their website and I always make it a point to spend at least $100 so I don’t have to pay shipping and I always find a coupon code online. These are a staple in my pantry.
I am using the Outer Aisle cauliflower thins. I make the pizza in the air fryer. I have to be gf (Celiac) and I avoid soybean oil (inflammation). The thins are a bit pricy so I watch for sales/markdowns and freeze them.
6/25/22 I came here from watching your Mission Tortilla Pizza vid (from 2 yrs ago) and I was wondering if anything had changed in the keto-pizza world. No spoilers! Great video, thanks!
You guys are so right about the Mission low carb tortilla pizza. Matter of fact the ingredients for tonight's pizza dinner has been on the counter waiting for me to put together. The most difficult keto pizza crust I ever made was a homemade cauliflower crust. Too time consuming.
I use the tortillas to make tortilla chips in the air fryer as well as a dip consisting of half softened cream cheese and half Tostitos salsa. You can shred cheese and lettuce over the dip if you make a group batch. The chips can be seasoned in many ways. And that salsa dip has always been my favorite dip, so talk about satisfying! Keto? Doesn't taste like it. (Thanks for this idea for the pizza. I like it, too!)
I finally just stopped using crust because frankly, yes, I love real pizza, real Italian pizza but hey sometimes heath is more important (says the person who did fall off eating raisins - yeah just raisins for the day - back on track now). I make a crustless version and it’s pretty damn good!
I agree that the tortilla is a super option and definitely the easiest. Joe Duff did a ground chicken crust and I liked it a lot...very filling and good but not really "pizza". Thanks for trying these out. I'm right there with you ladies on the lazy part when it comes to meal planning and preparation :)
“At the end of the day, we’re lazy.” This is my motto, and why I so thoroughly enjoy your videos!🤣
Haha we love that you think the same Charlotte! -Em
I wouldn't say Lazy ... More Convenient is it ... Time saver to do other stuff. Nice job Ladies 👍.
@@davefigore7843 thanks Dave!
I say the easier the better. And I like fast, too. I think using the tortillas for the pizza crust is a great idea. Thanks for the idea.
Fast and easy . . . K.I.S.S. - keep it simple silly.
I love the Mission tortilla. I put my tortilla in my air fryer to heat it up and to make it crispy. I place my trivet on top to keep the tortilla from flying around in the air fryer. After it is crispy I put my toppings on and I put it back in the air fryer. Can’t go wrong with the Mission and the air fryer.
Do you have to flip tortilla to fry both sides? Great idea to weight it down ! I didn’t it flys up to the top and messes up the air flow !
Me too!
Great tips! Thanks for sharing!
That’s a great idea. I will definitely use my trivet next time 👍
Oh, okay, I wondered how to keep them from flying around in there.

Yum!! We’ve never made a whole tortilla pizza, that sounds great!
I’m going to give the tortilla one a try. Looks really good.
I'm still a fan of the Mission tortilla pizza. I've been doing this now and then for months and you cannot beat how quick and easy it is to make, especially if it's just for me. Love these showdowns, ladies!
Thanks Mia! We have fun making these videos so it makes us happy that you like to watch them 🤗🤗
@@ketotwins Here's a suggestion for a future video-fish/seafood dishes or chaffles for the Lenten season! I need ideas, please. HELP! :)
Plus, I'm more of a thin crust pizza fan. But I DO ❤️ a good deep dish from time to time too!! Just clarifying.
Blessings from Iowa, L
We absolutely love 💘 ❤️ ❤️ pizzas 🍕 ♥️ ♥️ ♥️.
Love mine on your chaffle recipe.
I use the low carb tortillas and I love them
Love the one with no nut flours
Have you tried the pork rind crust pizza? My husband's favorite. But you would need to like pork rinds.
1/2 cup crushed pork rinds
1/2 cup parmesen cheese
2 eggs
Mix together add whatever seasoning you like. Form into pizza crust on parchment paper, bake at 400 8 min, flip bake 5 min more. Then add toppings and bake until bubbly.
That’s interesting Phyllis! Thanks for sharing we might have to give that a try at some point 🤗🤗
Love these video’s! So fun to watch both of you and you guys are funny also, like with the faces I make and makes me happy!
Aww thanks Cristina! 🤣🤗🤗
I like the tortilla pizza but if in the mood to cook, I like the Fathead pizza dough as well. Just brush/sprinkle garlic powder etc on the crust while it bakes the first round.
Love fat head dough too! Sounds yummy!
Hello, I do make the Mission tortilla pizza from time to time.
😂🤣🤣 The look as Sarah smacks the dough 🤣🤣🤣 I'm dying! I keep rewinding that part!
Yeah that was odd lol 😂
@@ketotwins I personally loved it! 🤣
Another funny and truly informative video! Thanks so much! Show that dough ball who’s boss!🤣
🤣🤣
Thank you so much for sharing this. Can't wait to try.😋
I’m with The Twinzies on this one!
Though I have never tried the pizza dough keto mix or the frozen one WHY would I?
The Mission Carb Balance tortillas makes super delicious pizza dough.
It’s simple, fast and absolutely deeeeelicious!
I saw your mission pizza video and it is a life saver.... yay pepperoni pizza.
The Keto Twins are BACK with another banger. Step aside carb apologists.
👋👋👋🤗🤗
Now that “ Lent “ started every Friday is pizza 🍕 day I really love @ dr Bergs “ Califlower pizza 2 eggs 2 cups mozerella and 2 cups Califlower rice I use real Califlower and grate it down and mix it really good put parchment on top of pizza pan and pat down mixture really flat I cook it 450 for 20 min then add sauce and toppings put in another 5- 10 min that’s it . I do wish it was more stiff ( I did try a lil zantham gym ) but not noticeable . I really love the taste 🌻🌻🌻
I tried Dr. Berg cauliflower pizza. It was not bad. However I prefer a crispy crust. The Mission low carb tortilla works best for me.
Thanks
Have you tried on gyro flat bread wrap. It is good too. Whole wheat gyro wraps. Costco sells them
We haven’t thanks for the suggestion!
can watch your both all so delightful and although I can't cook and im not keto ,but if you both had a restaurant,id def go there. How are you not on Cabal!?
I don’t think we are meant for the restaurant industry🤣🤣🤣
We will have to try those! Thanks for the suggestion! -Em
I am using the Outer Aisle cauliflower thins. I make the pizza in the air fryer. I have to be gf (Celiac) and I avoid soybean oil (inflammation). The thins are a bit pricy so I watch for sales/markdowns and freeze them.
i will have to look out for them! Thanks for the suggestion Brenda.
6/25/22 I came here from watching your Mission Tortilla Pizza vid (from 2 yrs ago) and I was wondering if anything had changed in the keto-pizza world. No spoilers! Great video, thanks!
Thank you for making this video. I haven't spotted the low carb tortillas at the supermarket so I'll look closer for them.
I know they sell them online too!
Just made the low carb tortilla pizza. Yum! I’ll be doing that again. Thanks for sharing!
Sarah and Emily, another good video. You girls make all three pizza crust look delicious. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
🤗🤗 thanks for always supporting our videos Angie!! -Em
Fathead dough crust is a favorite of ours.
You ladies are the bomb 💣 Thank you ♥️
❤️❤️🤗🤗
I just use Joseph's oat bran/whole wheat pita bread (5g carbs) or make garlic fathead dough as pizza dough
You guys are so right about the Mission low carb tortilla pizza. Matter of fact the ingredients for tonight's pizza dinner has been on the counter waiting for me to put together. The most difficult keto pizza crust I ever made was a homemade cauliflower crust. Too time consuming.
Buy a quest plain pizza and add you own extras to it. No fuss and it’s good!
I too make the mission pizza as well, it’s the best!
My favorite is with using the cut da carb sheet
We like those too!
