BMW 325ti & 318ti e46 compact first drift tries

The silver one is mine and the black one is from my cousin.
The 325ti is completely stock and the 318ti has a rusted through muffler and lowered springs from Eibach, that means more camber and he has some old tyres.
We practiced a bit on snow at empty parking lots, but never tried it on the street without snow
Both cars with open diffs, that's why it's such a struggle :D

I am sitting in one now. Need new rear subframe rubbers though, the rear bushing on the diff is torn.
These cars are highly underrated and only because of their looks.
Yet the steering rack is faster and doesn't have the rear mounting point issues.
The biggest downside is they never made an M version because at release people didn't want the car.
Now if I look at the BMW pig lineup of today than the fuss of back than seems a little silly. It can always get worse than just a pair of ugly headlights. 😅

Any amount of power would be enough in this winter's driving conditions here in Finland. I have a 318ti automatic and it's sideways if you even think about pressing the gas pedal.

We always checked if there is a car coming from the other side. The camera guy gave us a thump up when the corner was free. It was risky but we started slowly and only risked our own cars not others.
